Vacation rentals in Ogasawara

Thank you for the past four days! Umi was very kind and taught me a lot about how to enjoy Ogasawara! I was alone this time, but next time I want to come with someone important to me.

Mary's place is a lovely flat within very easy walking distance of the two main streets in town. Very comfortable and clean, and Mary is a great host who is always available to help out with local recommendations and getting around. I look forward to coming back!

Fantastic beach in front of you, you can always enjoy snorkeling or ocean play right away.There is an unattended sales office and a vending machine for drinks and snacks, but there are no restaurants, so I cooked meals for myself or went to the Omura neighborhood by motorbike that can be rented at the inn.Buses also stop nearby, but after 18:00 Omura's final departure. They picked us up and dropped us off from the harbor to the inn, and Kai was on the lower floor, so there was no problem with contacting us. They were very kind.Foreigners also stayed, but Kai is also good at English, so I think foreigners can stay with peace of mind. Excellent hospitality!We will stay again if we visit Chujima again.

Mary June is such a sweet host! She speaks fluent English and was so helpful and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. We stayed with her twice once before we went to hahajima and then for 2 weeks after. She was so accommodating even when our ferry scheduale got messed up due to weather. She would pick us up and drop us off at the ferry )even the early one to haha) and stayed around till the boat left the dock. Her place is brand new and has a wonderful peaceful deck . The kitchen and bathrooms are spotless. It’s also minutes walk from all the shops, restaurants (manta and sushi jun!) and activities including hikes! The beach is literally 3 minutes away for snorkeling and watching turtles. Rec: rent scooters and 1/2 trip to minamijima (full day is too long) If you want to know about the island Mary has so many wonderful stories! I can’t speak more highly of her she took care of us like family. The beauty of the island is reflected in her hospitality! I will be back!

Ogasawara is a paradise and the accommodation was extremely nice with an amazing night sky where we could see lots of stars. Nearby a nice beach, great for hiking and swimming. Akari san was super nice and friendly, gave us few tips, booked a half day tour to “Minami Jima island” which was a highlight of our trip to Ogasawara! I Rightly recommend the accommodation can’t wait to be back ❤️
