Vacation rentals in Odai, Taki District

First stay at this property. Easy to find, close to the railway station, local restaurants, supermarket, and nice cake shop. House was spotless, many extra small conveniences (just take the time to look), huge space, good heat/cooling in all rooms. Excellent value for the money. The largest home in over 30+ properties in Japan we have stayed in during the past 7 years. Huge. And one of the cleanest too. It was a pleasure to stay here. Recommended.

Amazing a B&B experience!The location is great, in the mountains, open view, wooded and sunny.The inside of the room is also very thoughtful, the plates are nice, there are robes and blankets, the details are very good.Highly recommend for a family to check it out and stay here again.

We had a wonderful stay in Nara -- the home was exactly as described and well set-up. The neighborhood was peaceful, with a big grocery store conveniently nearby and the bus (which is easy to navigate and goes to the train station, Nara Park, etc.) is just across the street. We'd love to return again!

I used it for the New Year. The variety of fresh groceries and the low price of the nearby supermarket was excellent, and I enjoyed cooking many times in the large kitchen that I could open the cooking class.The firepower of the stove was strong at the restaurant level, and there were plenty of kitchen utensils, so I was able to make whatever I wanted to make.Dare to say, a salad spinner, tongs, and gold scrub would have been perfect. They checked in in advance during the opening hours of the surrounding facilities, replenishing kerosene, and paying attention to detail, which made me feel at ease.Thank you again for everything.

A gorgeous room in a well connected part of Japan if you’re looking to spend some time in Kyoto! The area was quiet and peaceful and the room was perfect for our needs. Oguri is a great host and has a beautiful home and I would be more than happy to stay there again.
