Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Oban

Lovely place to stay. Bigger than the photos and lots to do in the local area. Chippy was great as was the Mhor bakery. Clean and excellent communication. Parking on the street at times was tricky but we were aware of this before we booked. Would stay again.

Good sized home for a family to stay in. Very clean and we really like having two bathrooms, not that common in Scotland, bathrooms were also updated and modern. Note that both bathrooms are downstairs and bedrooms are upstairs. We really appreciated the washing machine. Kitchen was excellent and well equipped, Victor even left us a welcome bottle of wine! Beds were a little uncomfortable and could do with replacement mattresses. Good house and value.

Perfect Christmas getaway in this beautiful house that instantly felt like home. Clear instructions to arrive and access the property and a helpful guide book on the inside. Huge space to spread out in once inside the house. Very well equipped kitchen with everything you could need and more, only down side was the plates and utensils/cutlery were a little grubby and all needed a good clean before they could be used. Coffee machine could be listed as I would have brought pods with me. There was even a slow cooker which really came in handy and plenty of Pyrex dishes and knives. Beds all comfy and bedrooms spacious, again with everything you need including a hair dryer! Plenty of storage space and hangers and nice thick towels provided. Utility room a godsend with a large family and meant I could keep on top of the washing, only thing missing was a clothes airer as not everything can be tumble dried. We planned a magical Christmas break and that’s exactly what we got, thank you.

Whole family enjoyed our stay in Kirn. Considering the age group varied from 2.5 years to 73yrs. House was lovely & warm & games room was perfect for evenings with 📺 & pool table keeping us all (10) entertained. Kitchen was a great size for the amount of bodies floating around & the amount of food being consumed. All in all a great place for our long weekend. Thanks, George Ashton

Highly recommend Alice’s cottage. It was the perfect stay for us - within east reach of Glencoe ski centre and all of the local walks and trails. Absolutely spotlessly clean and everything you could hope for in a holiday home (plenty of wine glasses too!). I’d stay here again as it was perfect for us and our young family, and highly recommend you stay here too.

So Happy with Jo and the house! It was spotless and everything was so clean! One of the main things for us was how safe it was and how we felt very secure in the house / Neighbourhood. All in all was a very seamless stay with Joanna!! Communication was super fast!! 10/10 would recommend 😊

This was our third trip staying at Dodside which speaks volumes in itself. Colin is very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Lots of woid provided for the woodburner which made the accommodation very cosy. Would recommend but only if you drive as it's rural and a couple of miles from the nearest shops. Lovely and quiet though.

This apartment was homely, exceptionally clean and super comfortable, the pictures don’t do it justice. It was lovely to come home to after a day out exploring this beautiful part of the world. The apartment is an easy 15 minutes walk to town with spectacular views. Always warm and had everything we could possibly need for cooking & eating in. Maria was very helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We will definitely return and recommend it to all of our friends. Big thanks again.

Fabulous flat, absolutely spotless. Third floor, but lift available. Wifi worked well. Murray communicated well and met us at the appointed time. Was able to direct us to a long stay car per 5 minutes walk away. Flat is situated right in the heart of Oban with restaurants and shops a short walk away. Didn’t need the car for the three days we stayed.

Really enjoyed my 2 night work stay in Mary's homely apartment. It's very spacious and has every gadget you could ever need I think! Everything was spotless clean. I loved the Belfast sink and the giant bath. Comfortable bed. Warm and private apartment and the apartment builds and neighbourhood was totally silent overnight which made for a great sleep. I highly recommend Marys place. 👌

Booked this AirBnB for my parents to stay at that were coming up to Scotland for the weekend, Margaret was very helpful and made the stay easy and stress free, would highly recommend and definitely book again in the future!

Dean was an exceptional host. Nothing was too much trouble, and because of the stormy weather, he was quick to offer a flexible booking arrangement which was so helpful to us. He was local, and was a pleasure to talk to. He was attentive, and didn't forget about us during a bad storm, checking on our well- being. The place was very comfortable, well equipped and had some lovely homely touches. The sense of being in Scotland was very much enjoyed; the pictures on the wall , books based on Scottish culture added to our enjoyment. Thank you . We hope to return soon. Highly recommended!

I really enjoyed the airbnb, Diane was incredibly helpful in terms of directions, suggestions for things to do and places to eat.

We stayed at the Cobblerview Apartment for 4 nights, and both felt it was one of the best holidays we have had. The apartment itself had everything we needed for our stay, as well as possibly the best views you could ask for - mountains, trees, water, and sunsets! From the initial booking, Carol was fantastic. I was planning to propose on the holiday, and Carol made some excellent suggestions with photos, that ended up resulting in a proposal at the Falls of Falloch (she said yes!). Carol had also messaged us in advance to let us know we were able to check in earlier than the agreed time, which was very considerate. Instructions about the heaters, velux windows, and Smart TV were clear, and we had no issues at all during our stay. We thoroughly enjoyed our time, and are already looking forward to our next stay!

Jill was truly a blessing to me and my group of friends after we got stuck inside because of a horrible storm. She was kind enough to care after us and made sure me and my friends were okay the whole way through. The Airbnb was really nice and cozy, a shame we didn’t get to explore the area but we are already thinking of coming back and actually doing it! Thank you Jill for such an amazing stay. 🫶🏼

Louise was very helpful and quick to respond. We had such a lovely stay so much so we have already booked a return visit. The beds were very comfortable and the whole house warm comfortable and cosy. The lounge was the only area we felt needed updating, the sofas were well past their sell by date and quite shabby. The furniture in that room on the whole was tired. It did not deter from our enjoyment. The kitchen was extremely well equipped with everything we needed and more. and Louise had very kindly left us a welcome gift. We used the local taxi service to travel about and they were very reliable. As said previously we are returning and would highly recommend. Thank you Louise x

The apartment was lovely, extremely comfy and clean. Fabulous quiet location, which was a perfect base for days out. Jenny was very friendly and helpful. Left us a box of shortbread, which was a lovely surprise. Would definitely recommend and would definitely stay again. ☺️

Had a lovely stay in Oban. Tons of restaurants, cafes and shops all within walking distance. Apartment was very clean and looked great. Beautiful kitchen and well stocked if you decide to cook instead of visiting the restaurants if necessary. Walk up the flights of stairs to get in wouldn’t be good for someone with mobility issues. But once inside it was very cozy and great base for any adventures.

Great location and great set up. Definitely Will be back.
