This place is like a writer's retreat. The place was clean, peaceful and quiet. Elisabeth was an excellent host. Very respectful and flexible. Neighborhood is a short walk from downtown, but honestly there is a bus every 10 seconds, even until 4 am. Great place to watch the sunset, and a local bar/restaurant with traditional Norwegian food. Grocery store as well. I'm not sure there was a microwave, but that's just a European thing.

Conveniently located just 5 minutes from tram line 1. Easy parking nearby. It has two bedrooms, including a master suite upstairs, as well as a perfectly equipped office. The living room is welcoming and warm, and the kitchen fully equipped for a comfortable stay. The host is very responsive. I would highly recommend it!

We were in Norway with our kids for the first time and were looking for a place not far from the airport due to the long trip. This is absolutely true of this house. 10 min to the airport and still no aircraft noise. We lived in the middle of the Norwegians. The residential area there is top and very central. The house is old and has been renovated, therefore there are a few problems with the electrics, but Aron compensates for that with style and super comfortable beds. We would go again.

Great home for kids - our kids (6 and 9) had a blast. As did the adults. The tram is a few minutes from the front door, great location.

It was a beautiful place they have curated! Felt right at home. Each and every corner of the place was cozy and warm! If you are looking for a place thats quiet and peaceful and still just a bus ride away from the main city, this is the place to be!

We had a great time at Frank’s apartment. The place is really cozy, clean and had all the amenities we needed. The coffee machine with fresh coffee was an extra bonus that we really enjoyed. Just to keep in mind, the apartment is located uphill, there are no buses to the apartment. So getting there is only by foot or by using the funicular (passes through every 30 minutes).

Really enjoyed our stay at Marius’s place. It’s all you need and in a very local neighbourhood, that’s close to the harbour. Marius is responsive and the place is very comfortable. We loved the local area, it was a great stay.

It’s a wonderful, well equipped home. Location and view is stunning. The biggest USP is that you come down the hill from the house and there is a ferry terminal to bergen right there. So if you are driving or walking or taking the bus - it is super convenient to go to places like bergen. Really saved us a lot of travel time. We practically felt at home away from home.

Hey there Loved Therese’s place! You will walk about 10 min to the super touristy stuff- great part of town. We hung at the apt several nights and had cider on the balcony and watched movies. Very chill place! And beautiful! She gives great recs! Def recommend. Full kitchen too! (Microwave 🙌) and allows dogs 👍

very quiet neighborhood. in a beautiful wooden house in the old quarter . independent entrance. no noise from the owners who live on the upper floor. everything you need is in the accommodation. very well equipped kitchen. dining area. functional bathroom. comfortable living room. nice room. Well heated. 10 minutes walk from the port and bryggen . 3 minutes from the backer brün cafe. It really feels like home . Johan does everything to make us feel good in the accommodation . We will come back without hesitation . He is a very welcoming host who takes care of the well-being of visitors .

We had a wonderful stay. The apartment is directly in the center, close to the restaurants and shops. Torstein told us where we could park our camper, sent us photos and even called the parking company for us. We would have never found it. The apartment is really nice and cosy and the bed extremely comfortable. Torstein also gave us tips for restaurants, we tried one which was very good. We would love to return sometime!

Exquisite! Henriette and Oda were amazing hosts. They thoughtfully decorated their beautiful apartment for the holidays and notified us of a rare northern lights sighting on New Year’s. Quiet, safe neighborhood. Upscale building. Short walk to a hilltop park, the university, grocery store, and city center. Extremely comfortable and luxurious—highly recommend!

A charming apartment where I did feel home away from home. You have everything you need even for a longer stay. Convenient location with a 10-15 minutes bus ride or a good 40ish minutes walk to the fish market; bus station & a grocery store near by. Yngvild is very responsive and accommodating. I recommend this place and would rent it again if I would go back to Bergen.

We arrived early to Bergen, here Katinka showed a kindness in giving us access to the apartment much earlier. Katinka quickly reached out to check that we had gotten in🤩. Good location for exploring Bergen close to waterfront. Supermarket is just around the corner and restaurants in close walking distance

I was very glad to have stayed at Carl's place. Excellent check-in instruction. Excellent communication. The apartment was very clean and tidy. The view was pleasant and the kitchen had all the utensils to prepare food every day. I was very glad that I was permitted to use the washing machine late at night to clean my sports clothes for the next day. The area is in a quiet neighborhood but there is a hospital helipad nearby that about thrice every 2 weeks gets used. The building is alongside a steep hill so some inclined walking is necessary to get to it from the main road/bus stop. There is no elevator so walking up at least 3 flights of stairs is mandatory. I actually welcomed this requirement for this is how my knees will stay supple. Overall highly recommended and Carl and his place are considered to be on my top 3. Will try to stay here again on my next trip to Bergen if the price is right.

Warm and good in the apartment when we arrived. It was very good when it was cold winter outside. Tidy and nice. Good beds. Cozy living room and dining area.

Helge has a beautiful house with a wonderful view of the fjord, about 40 minutes from Bergen . Always responsive and friendly host, allowed us to use the car charging station

Very nice and cosy place with amazing views over the mountains and sea. It was warm and friendly inside, while outside it was raining. Lots of space, homely atmosphere, nice garden for our dog. There was a ‘roof’ where we could sit outside despite the rain. The hill was indeed very steep. For us not a problem, but when you are not a good walker then it probably is. We would certainly recommend this spot.
