We had a wonderful stay at Skrim. Sissel was easy to reach, friendly and service minded. The cabin was super nice, clean and tidy with everything we needed. The zip line was extra pupular with the 7 year old and we have enjoyed ourselves very much. We gladly came back! 🤩

Simple but lovely cabin in fantastic natural area directly by the lake. Perfect for recharging for everyday life and those who like to have a quiet time. It is possible to bring a dog that was spot on for us. Just recommend. 😉😁

This one’s all about the location. Scenic setting, very peaceful, and well kept surroundings, right on the sea front. I wish I spent more time at the apartment and enjoying the views, rather than doing the activities I had planned elsewhere!

This was our second time staying at this cabin. We really like it as it's close to Oslo, has a hot tub, has a great kitchen, and communication with Jonny is really easy. A note to people renting the cabin - when Jonny says you need to shower before using the hot tub, he means it! It's for the benefit of all the guests. Unfortunately the people there before us left the water dirty, which meant we had to put a lot of chlorine in - resulting in skin irritation to us. Also, as I mentioned in my previous review, if it snows the way down to the cabin can be quite slippery! This is not for people with movement difficuties. Thanks again Jonny for the stay! :)

Amazing view over the lake. Exactly like described. Access to own catwalk from which you can jump in the water and a rowboat to explore the lake and the three islands. Tranquil nature all Ground. About 90 min drive from Oslo for a daytrip. Grocery shopping possibilities about a 15 min drive away. Nicest holiday home i have been to so far. Absolute recommendation. Would come back any time.

Annabel and Fred are very warm hosts and have prepared their guest house with a fine sense of aesthetics: with exposed wooden beams, a well-equipped kitchen and a large dining table, with a wood stove, a cozy sofa, memorabilia of old times and fresh flowers the garden. From the main room you have an unobstructed view of the sea, from time to time you can hear the sheep bleeding quietly. It is not far to a small secluded swimming spot where you can even make a fire. Late in the evening, fog lies above the sheep pasture, the moon and stars glow into the dusk - it's just beautiful there!

Gorgeous and well equipped house. The heated pool was perfect for hours of fun, the views from the house were fantastic and the Viking Museum is only a 20 minute walk along the coast away. Roy is a very helpful and polite host, always quick to respond.

Awesome apartment with everything you need and so on. Fully equipped kitchen with cutlery and crockery, drawers full of spices (and organic sugar!). Coffee maker ready to use (i.e. didn't have to buy with coffee). Should you get bored, there are both Jon Fosse and Jo Nesbø in the bookshelf - in addition to useful tour books, games and much more. The apartment is carefully decorated, you feel well taken care of. Free use of the pool was great. Free parking and super nice location. We will be back! A tip for other guests is to shop before you get to Holmsbu, as there is only one shop there.

Magical days in great surroundings. All three generations were delighted. Incredibly lovely to have sun from morning to evening in the outdoor areas. We would love to come back here.

Great cabin at Scandic harbor. The cabin has what you need and a nice balcony with evening sun. Map to the beach. Recommended.

There were 6 of us in Sandra's wonderful house. Check-in was hassle-free. The house looked as described and it had everything you needed. The view from the terrace was incredible and we really enjoyed the time. Sandra was always available quickly and responded promptly to any questions. Pure vacation!

We had a great week at Knut Richards family estate. It was surrounded by beatuiful nature, a lake view and peaceful pool. We spent most of our time in the large Bryggerhus, it even features a fully functioning kitchen which is in addition to the one in the main building. Would recommend!

Very nice house, perfect for a family with kids. The outer space is what made the difference for us thanks to the kids entertainment and the pool (we traveled with 4 kids below 4 years old). The bedrooms distribution in the house allowed also to separate the kids and avoid waking up eachother at night so it worked perfectly for us. Very good and quick communication with the host. Only small defect is one only bathroom with shower (even if it’s consistent with the description) which can easily make queue when 2 families come back after the day. Also for the price I think bedsheets / towels should have been included. Other than that a perfect stay and really recommended house :)

It’s a fantastic location and the cabin itself is tastefully decorated with nice, roomy bedrooms and a spacious kitchen and living room. The view is spectacular and the outside areas are nicely furnished and landscaped. The bathroom is nice and modern but there’s only an outside shower. Not a problem in the warmer summer months though. Access to the cabin is relatively easy with a short walk from an unload parking area. Highly recommend!

We had a great stay at Veierland in the house of Linn and Jakob. The house was clean and well equipped when we arrived. The houes is slightly remodeled inside and now even better than in the photos. In the kitchen there is now a stove and a big refrigerator, which is very comfortable. In the living room there is now a beautiful dining table which we used often. The surroundings of the house is like in the photos: quiet, private, wonderful views to the sea. There are multiple levels in the garden with good furniture. Its a lot of fun to explore the area with the motorboat or the kajaks. Swimming, fishing and hiking on the island while looking for mushroome was also great for our kids. Particulary valuable was the excellent communication with the lovely hosts. Even when we had some problems and questions concerning the boat there was always an immediately and friendly answer and help. Comminication was easy, clear, fast, relaxed, proactive and very friendly. High-grade recommendation!

The bathhouse is located in a picturesque peaceful bay and small harbor. The view is fantastic and you can't get enough of it. The cottage is equipped with everything and super cozy. We were able to use kayaks and sup and sunbathe on the comfortable loungers. Unfortunately, I lost my back, but recommended chiropractors did it. We left wonderfully and thank you for the wonderful time!

Everything, starting from very easy getting in instruction, was perfect. We had a feeling like we were very welcome guests in the big family house. Place is in perfect and very beautiful location with everything that you need for your daily life. Mr. Hans Christian is remarkable host. We got the list of very useful tips before arriving to island and with all information that we will need while we were staying. Fantastic and very cosy experience! Thank You!

A beautiful and unique place with a private beach and the best sunsets. Great value for money and worth the trip!

We had a great time at Kathrine's cabin. She was very helpful if we needed anything and always responded quickly. She was very welcoming and made sure all our needs were met. The cabin was fantastic with lots of space for our family. We stayed a lot in the garden since the weather was so nice. We enjoyed the view to the water every day from the garden and every evening from the balcony. Thank you so much for us! We would gladly came back.

The only thing we want to say about Christians house is that we really loved it! We were a bit sad when our beautiful and calm days in Tjøme came to an end. Thank you for having us!
