Leave the hectic city behind , and enjoy the beautiful countryside .

You’ll love our place it's peaceful and private. You'll find it's been recently refurbished and is a very tidy self contained guest house with rural views from your back deck, the sea views can seen from the front of the units driveway. We are in a quiet and safe area, a great base to explore the Bay of Islands. Swimming beach within walking distance. Perfect for couples and solo adventurers. Everything supplied, complete kitchen, bbq, linen, etc just bring yourself and your personal affects.

The Boathouse

The Boathouse is in Lake View Estate, a gated community. Accommodation sleeps 2 or 4 using our comfy sofa bed. Estate is a few minutes drive from Mangawhai Village and 15mins from the surf beach. Facilities include a swimming pool over summer (we provide pool towels), tennis court (we provide racquets and balls). The lake has walking tracks and a children’s playground. Views of Mangawhai estuary and our awesome sand dune can be seen from the property’s driveway and on Lake View walks.
