Bungalow for creative-river.

KevinRating, 5 stars3 months ago
If you are looking for a peaceful, private and beautiful place away from Chiangmai ,this is it. 20 to 30 minute drive from city centre( white public taxis 20 Bhat per person and until 6pm, every 5 or 10 minutes from near the stay and back from the city at Thamel Coffee) This is probably a 5 minute drive from the nearest town center which has supermarkets, an evening market, spas, cafes and shops. The only con was there were mosquitoes in the area and it is not for people who are looking to party or tourist attractions, this is more for just enjoying the nature and local life. The place is very calm, has beautiful surroundings, a pretty stream, an adorable Maximus the pet dog and a very sweet host couple! They made our stay very special and helped us out when we needed! The cottage has a lot of space, and all things you would need for a good stay including washer, kitchen stuff, pool, A/C and other necessities.

Spicy Villa Private Bungalow

MaudRating, 5 stars16 months ago
Joe is a great host. We felt very looked after by everyone and the volunteers who helped. You can add lots of activities to your stay. We went on the hike through farms and jungle and had jungle lunch cooked on the fire by Joe and the other guys. It was the highlight of the trip! The cooking lessons helped with bonding with everyone and felt nice to work together and then eat together. Lovely waterfall a short walk through the rice paddies is a nice place to bathe. Coco the dog and Lili the cat are also so sweet and love hanging out with the guests. The communal area is a nice place to read and talk. Thank you Joe for a fabulous time, we learned so much and loved staying with you. See you in England!

kiri Guesthouse & Massage - Banana Suite

Sandra & JoriënRating, 5 stars3 months ago
We stayed here for a month with our dog . The hosts are very friendly and nice. We could borrow their personal bikes. They didn’t accept money for it so we bought them a Buddha. We did some hikes in the jungle but we saw more cute animals around the house than in the jungle. We had a cute tree frog at the window who rests there at daytime and goes on an adventure at night to come back again in the morning. We absolutely loved this place, the nature and peace

Unit 105 -2 storey beautiful teak wood house

OliviaRating, 5 stars14 months ago
Great place to stay longer term in Chiang Mai. A little out of the city centre, but it’s therefore nice and quiet. Carolyn was always super responsive and helpful, and having the shared kitchen was nice to be able to cook.

Traditional Thai style wooden house near the pond

KatherynRating, 5 stars1 week ago
We booked for a glorious month. An orchard behind and a grassy area and rice fields in front with 4 houses on the dead end street. Very quiet and so safe. The soundscape of birdsong was heavenly. The kitchen was well designed to properly cook, with the essential equipment, plus a big fridge. Having a moat there’s moving water reflecting off the ceiling in every room. The few things we asked for, Maree quickly saw to, and except for linen changing, let us be. Maree runs an outdoor coffee shop in front of the house 4 days a week which was not busy. No nightclubs are audible and only distant traffic. We loved the huge bed. We bought an extra mosquito net for my paint studio over the picnic table and had ours over the bed, but soon took both down. Moths came near sunset but we had very little bugs otherwise. There is an old rooster next door with a low raspy voice so audible but as low impact as possible. Nearby a couple shops, a water kiosk, otherwise temples, rice fields & teak houses

This was an exceptional Airbnb experience. The drive in was beautiful and scenic, a true rural Thailand experience. The place it a magical setting along a river so you get the soothing babbling brook for your entire stay. The whole property is a botanical dream with an extensive collection of local plants. The pets are cute, quiet and friendly. The dinner and breakfast were authentic Thai home cooking in abundance. The host also was thoughtful enough to lead me to the beautiful local waterfall on a hike. She was a delight to spend some time with. Overall, one of my best Airbnb experiences and I’ve travelled extensively.

LaLa's House @Mae On

JoannaRating, 5 stars11 months ago
Our stay at Lala's place was simply fantastic! Located about 40min from Chiang Mai, her home offers the perfect escape from mass tourism. Situated near the best climbing area, with meticulously maintained routes, totaling 209, it's a paradise for climbers. Lala herself is an incredible host, going above and beyond to ensure her guests feel comfortable. With years of experience as a hotel manager, her attention to detail is impeccable. Her father also adds to the wonderful experience, warmly welcoming guests. Our room was cozy, with a spacious terrace overlooking their beautiful garden, filled with various vegetables and flowers. Lala provided great insider tips for activities in the area. Additionally, we were able to rent a motorbike from them at a great price, allowing us to explore even further. We truly had the best time and felt right at home!!!

Ma-Meaw cottage, simply cozy living

XRating, 5 stars3 weeks ago
This is a unique and profound stay.Guarded by the love of Ratana, the host, Ratana, is like a spiritual space away from the earth.Every leaf here, every ray of sunshine, tells the tranquility and authenticity of life.In this spiritual land, I deeply feel the connection between nature and life, as if time became slow and my heart was clear.I found some kind of stability and awareness here. This place is not only a place of residence, but a place where one can re-dialogue and feel the essence of life.I sincerely thank Ratana for creating such a space that allows me to encounter such a profound experience on the go. It better reflects your sense of life and practice, while also conveying a high appreciation for the host and environment. Please let me know if something needs to be amended or supplemented!

Ing-Aoon Farmstay-Tiny Home

What a special air BnB! We have been backpacking for the past month and wanted to stay somewhere different. Nancy’s farm stay was perfect. So peaceful. We loved cycling around the village, and hiking nearby, the locals cafes are gorgeous too. But most of all this stay was special because of the amazing host, Nancy. She puts her whole heart into hosting and is extremely generous. She cooked us meals, took us to see local sights, we did art together too! 10/10 recommend this place to anyone who needs a break from the busyness of life, chance to reset and connect with nature

Mushroom House - Eco earth bag round house

ColinRating, 5 stars1 month ago
I was lucky to have enjoyed the Mushroom House for two months, and I was sad to leave. Both host and associated family were wonderful , friendly and accommodating, and I will miss them. The house itself is qwerky, comfortable and private. If you are looking for something different then make sure you book it.

One of the best Air BnB’s we ever stayed in. Lovely place surrounded by nature and the host was really amazing - hospitality at its best. She knew we were driving Mae Hong Son loop and she gave us bananas out of her own garden for on our way. Thank you so much, it was really a pleasure!
