Bungalow vacation rentals in Northern Mindanao

Our home away from home. We have everything we need mostly and since it’s our 1st time visiting the province & we rented a car, we find everything convenient from the property. We liked the house set up and the things Ivy provided in the house.

As a tourist I like my peace and quiet away from all the hustle and bustle of the busier parts of the island like San Juan. Chefs joes home stay is a roomy home close to Salagdoong beach and Cambugahay falls. Both better places to visit early in the morning compared to Paliton beach. Our host caretaker was always there when we needed anything. There’s also a restaurant down the road named daisys restaurant which makes really solid food. Get the fried noodles. This home is older with vintage colors and the normal odds and ends of a stay on this island but the stay was good. Walk to the left of the home a 1/2 mile down and the ocean is right there where the locals chill. With basketball courts every 5 minutes and grocery markets this place is a solid place for anyone looking for serenity.

We had an amazing stay at the Bungalow House! The hosts were very accommodating and responsive, making sure all our needs were met. They were even kind enough to let us rebook when our flights were canceled due to bad weather. The locals were also friendly and welcoming, which made our stay even better. It truly felt like a home away from home. Highly recommend this place for a warm and relaxing getaway!

I stayed for one month in the guesthouse. It's the right place for recreation and relaxation, away from all the noise and hazzle of the tourist spots and their exagerated prices . Genevieve Guesthouse offers a very peaceful environment and Jenny and Klaus are doing their utmost to make your stay really enjoyable. Long or short stay, the kitchen is very well equipped. The experience here did not only meet my expectations, it did outperform them. It's only a short walk to the beach with clear water and fine sand. You will need a motorbike or scooter, renting one is very affordable in Siquijor. Shopping is best done in Lazi, two ATM are available in Maria town proper.
