Vacation rentals in Northbrook

I can't say enough good things about Marla's Airbnb. We were there with another family in December and it's gorgeous! There was enough room to comfortably fit 2 families (collectively with 3 preschoolers and an infant). The separate but connected apartments were perfect for each family to have their privacy when needed but also come together. We had meals enjoying the beautiful view, snug next to the fireplace. The hot tub was wonderful. Communication was easy and Marla is graciously accommodating. For those of you traveling with infants, there's a baby bathtub and a pack n' play. I highly recommend and am hoping to come back soon.

Incredibly beautiful surroundings, right on the lake. Private and plenty to do with lake watching, kayaking and walking. The house was spotless, simple, comfortable and welcoming, great for a family of four. The fireplace and windows in the main bedroom were gorgeous. Kara and Serge were very friendly and helpful. We’ll be going again.

We had a great stay. Host met us at the door and showed us around. We two adults, two kids, and a dog and we had room to spare. Kitchen was very well equipped, easy street parking right in front, and though no washer the laundromat was right across the street. Easy walk to cute downtown and the river too. Michael was very communicative and made sure we had a great time. For sure would stay again.

We had a wonderful time at Blake’s cottage. We enjoyed the relaxation, BQQ, and walking around the village of Westport, which was very close by. Our dog really enjoyed the property and town as well. We recommend the Lost Penny Pub in Westport for a drink and food. Thank you so much to Blake and Lizzie!

I was lucky to come to Isabelle’s place for a family getaway. It was the perfect place for relaxing - it feels very remote and quiet, with tons of cute deer to watch in the evenings, a nice dock for watching the sunset, and a very cozy living space. The ferry rides were also a fun little experience. I was surprised at how many supplies they had stocked the kitchen with, enough for us to try complicated recipes. The latte machine (with milk frother) and complimentary coffee was also a huge bonus! Isabelle was always quick to reply and very helpful when we had any questions, before and during our stay. Definitely hoping to come back soon. Would highly recommend for a secluded and peaceful stay.

The waterfront is beautiful, with a well-kept fire pit and a peaceful lake that felt private during the week. We kayaked and canoed around the lake several times, enjoying the wildlife—turtles, herons, ducks, loons, and frogs. The BBQ worked great, and Verona offered everything we needed, including good food at Muddy Waters Restaurant and treats at a local bakery and Kawartha ice cream shop. We really enjoyed our stay at Ken's place. We stayed during a pretty nasty ice storm so it was incredibly helpful that we had the back-up generator. His maintenance guy Bill was great at checking in with us and making sure everything was working as expected.

Great cottage! We were 2 families with 2 small kids. We all had a blast. Cottage was clean, had hot water, linens were clean. Highly recommend this place
