Perfect for what we needed - somewhere that felt secluded, peaceful and amongst nature. We absolutely loved our stay, and probably be back in the future!

Wow! Where do I start! The lodge absolutely exceeded our expectations! The photos looked beautiful but it was even more amazing in person! The weekend away was a celebration for my birthday and a new job. Nat & JJ had made a real fuss with a big balloon and banners! Which made me feel lovely! The lodge was spotless! The style was quirky and right up our street! There was everything and more you could think of in the lodge and even a very thoughtful welcome basket!! The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable! Now for the views 😍 what an incredible site to wake up In the morning with a cuppa and see the wonderful lake and people on the jet ski! The hot-tub was just an added bonus! Overall we were so incredibly happy with our decisions to stay! We all had the best weekend and can’t wait to return! Thank you so much again xx

We really enjoyed our stay, the pod (pod 2) accommodation was fantastic and fitted our needs as a family of 4, with brilliant views that could be enjoyed from the hot tub. The onsite play park for kids was unexpected but really good and there was plenty of other space for them to play too. We didn't pay attention to which pod we had booked but there are different internal layouts and orientations/locations on the site so something we will be aware of next time we come.

We had such a peaceful weekend at such a beautiful location. The cabin was spotless and was well equipped with all the essentials you would need. Jess gave clear instructions prior on how to access the cabin and responsive when messaging with any query. The guest handbook was extremely useful with clear detailed instructions on everything you needed to know. Would highly recommend to anyone that is considering booking. We will definitely be booking a return.

Great nights stay, very close to Biscester Village inc park and ride facilities. Lucy contacted prior to arrival to see if we wanted the eco tub to be prepared for our arrival. Very well presented, and morning wildlife in the forrest was lovely to wake up to. Deer and Woodpeckers right up to the glass. Would stay again. 👍

My husband and I stayed last weekend for his birthday and it was so needed. It was stunning, tranquil and beautifully laid out. Everything we needed was provided. The bed super comfortable. The bath on the decking was the cherry on the cake. Emily was amazing, she gave us a lift up the muddy track with all of our bags and nothing was too much. We watched the sunset from the sauna, pure bliss. We would 100% recommend and would love to return.

Lovely cabin in the Oxfordshire woods. Very easily accessible by car or train to Bicester North station. The hot tub was the highlight of our stay - set to perfection before our arrival and very clear instructions to help us warm it up the day after. Mirror house provides a nice blend of privacy and proximity to the nature. it was a surprise for my partner who absolutely loved it! Will definitely look forward to visiting again.

We had a lovely time, even in winter when the rain was pouring! It's cosy and clean, close to Rutland water if you want to visit. I'm originally from Rutland and we were visiting family, it's a short journey to Oakham, Uppingham, Rutland water, close to amenities. It was great to have the dog with us and our 5-year-old. We will be booking again!

Great little getaway in a lovely park-like location on a beautiful lake. If you like watersports, this is the place for you! (We were in the area to visit family, so we didn’t partake in any water sports). Very well appointed lodge with everything you need. A couple minor issues (eg. couldn’t find a remote) were dealt with quickly. Highly recommended for a peaceful getaway or family vacation.

I recently enjoyed an outstanding stay at Kate and Frank's Airbnb with my wife and dog, arguably the best Airbnb experience we've had. The location is ideal, conveniently off the M40 and on the edge of the Cotswolds, offering plenty to explore nearby. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by their friendly farm dog, Fred, a big fluffy bear of a dog who quickly became friends with our dog. Kate made sure we had everything we needed and then gave us space, although she was available if needed. The accommodations exceeded our expectations; spacious, well-maintained, and featuring a must-have hot tub. The thoughtful extras elevated our stay, they included a variety of snacks and drinks; beer, Prosecco, local bread, eggs, and baked goods, as well as a fully stocked kitchen with essentials. Plenty of towels, bathrobes and flip flops were provided for the hot tub. Although there was no Wi-Fi, our phone signal sufficed (o2) and there was a Sky+ box provided. We hope to return again

What a great find if your in Banbury, and what a fantastic host Kate was. Nothing was too much. The cabin was so homely and mattress was heavenly slept a solid 10 hours. Hot tub was glorious. I feel so great after a relaxing few days.

As our 1st stay outside of London on our UK trip, we loved having somewhere that was surrounded by nature. You can hear the road, but was not an issue that stood out at all. The cabin is cosy and has everything you need for a short stay, including excellent heating. The yard with chickens and goats were fun to walk over to chat to. (we have our own chickens back home) We stayed with 12 and 15 yr old which was fine for a night or 2 but would be cramped for anything more due to the size of the space. And bathroom configuration. It was absolutely great for our short stay and would be perfect for a couple for a longer time to get away from hustle and bustle. If travelling with kids there is a large grassy yard for them to run and some play equipment. While we never met in person, both Fiona and Nigel were perfect hosts and so kind. Fiona has created a wonderful space that is comfortable and allows others to share in their blessed location in the rural countryside of England.

Would definitely recommend to others. Super responsive host prior to arrival, and also helped hugely with a heating issue that got fixed quickly. We had a good stay, it suited our needs

Within an hour of being in the lodge we knew that we would be returning at some point - it is just beautiful! The lodge is pristine and decorated to a high standard. We felt so comfortable and at home. The welcome pack was a lovely touch too. Views across the the lake were stunning and we enjoyed sitting non the deck watching the wake-boarders and water skiers zoom past! Hot tub was perfect and JJ came and checked it for us too. All in all a perfect weekend and we can’t wait to return. Was lovely to bump into Nat and JJ at the pub too so we could tell them how lovely their lodge is.

A great stay for a weekend away with friends. A really good sized cabin, clean & tidy and a great outdoor space, with garden furniture, to enjoy. Liz & Joe were very friendly and it was a good location to explore the Cotswolds. Would definitely recommend.

Stayed 2 nights and everything was great. Cabin very clean and tidy. Andy kindly left some milk and few other items. Lovely rabbits who enjoyed a few treats from us before leaving. Cute dogs as well!

Such a lovely and peaceful stay! Chris was very responsive and friendly, would definitely stay again. The local pub down the road was incredibly lovely and managed to fit us in for their 3 course meal which was lovely. Thank you so much!

Our stay could have not been better. Val communicated to us from the very beginning. Once we got in there everything we needed was just there. Every detail was taken care off, from little chocolates for our arrival, to the position of the chairs at the terrace overlooking the field and sheep’s. We had the chance to meet the hosts and enjoy some conversations with them. The goats and chickens really do add up to the experience. It delta like a little bubble we would love to come back to.

Super clean property, had all the amenities we needed for our stay and the host was incredibly accommodating for our needs! Clear instructions were sent over on how to check in and out and easy access to the property meant we had a stress free stay and was just what we needed as staying for a local event.

Great place to overnight whilst at a nearby music festival. The cabin was comfortable and had all we needed. Nick was helpful and kind and there was even a car space allocated. The gentle noise of the chickens as we ate breakfast outside was a bonus.
