Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Northampton County

Sarah knows hospitality. The home was larger than I thought so there was plenty of space to check out. Things done exceptionally well: clean white towels (always a winner yet many hosts don't know this); Black makeup towels so you don't ruin the nice white towels - that was clutch; clean white bed sheets; little bathroom amenities in case you need something; CLEAN screened in porch deck (no cobwebs); uncluttered kitchen with everything we needed to make our Thanksgiving feast; large, seemingly commercial refrigerator that both my friend and I want for our own kitchens now; and lots of broadband fast wifi. Even the laundry room was neat and tidy, and with a 3rd toilet just in case... my doggy loved lounging (I bring her bed wherever we go, never allow her on human furniture) and she was comfortable in every room that held her bed.. She felt right at home which was nice. We're coming back when it's warm so we can put some floats out in the water. Great peaceful, and restful location!!!

Outstanding host and very comfortable home. Margaret was very responsive to our needs even before arrival; anytime I contacted her, she responded within minutes. I have made many reservations through Airbnb personally and with a small fishing group, Margaret is among the best I've ever worked with and would certainly recommend her to anyone.

We had great time with family and it was a perfect location. The area was very quiet!

Eduardo, We sincerely enjoyed your beautiful home. It was so peaceful, very relaxing and full of everything that anyone would need. The kitchen was fully stocked and we didn’t want for anything. We home cooked all of our meals and didn’t want to leave the house. The views of the lake are outstanding and so peaceful. Watching the morning steam rising off of the lake was mesmerizing and the sunrising were just as beautiful. Having a morning coffee on the porch watching the fish popping and rippling the water was just like a movie. We really enjoyed your beautifully decorated home. The beds were very comfortable and the ceiling fans made it great to sleep in. We will be back for Thanksgiving in less than a month!! As well as next June and we can’t wait to be back again. We were visiting family in the area and Linda’s place fit our needs perfectly. It’s a lovely spacious condo that’s well maintained and clean. Linda was a very responsive host. We will book with her again for future visits.

Exactly as it is listed. So beautiful and lots of entertainment. Helpful and quick with any questions we had! We loved everything about this trip!

The surroundings were peaceful and quiet. We felt as if we had the world to ourselves. We used the lodge as a "Basecamp" for 3 days of fishing on the Roanoke River. There are 2 NC Wildlife boat ramps just minutes away. We met our host at check-in and she gave us a wonderful tour and brief history of the lodge. She made us feel very welcome and shared local information including restaurants and food stores. We enjoyed a quiet walk each morning surrounded by the sound of turkeys, geese, and cardinals. If you want to get away from the noise, this is the place! We're already making plans to return next year.

Ruth’s historic home was a wonderful place to stay, it was perfect for my friends and I for our weekend away at our dog show with a nice quiet community. The history of the house was really interesting, Ruth was great with communication and had the house nicely stocked for us!
