Beachfront vacation rentals in North Stradbroke Island

We were delighted to have such a peaceful and private place to rest. Kirill had everything you needed to feel at home. We definately will come again.

We loved our stay at Frenchman's Folly. The cottage is homely, comfortable and very well equipped. It is fully fenced and is very well located at Point Lookout: close to beaches, shops, cafes and the pub. Lots of wallabies and birds to observe and wonderful walks to be had. There's a decent bus service, so with or without a car is fine. Linda is a great host too!

Absolutely amazing to be right on the water, watching the tide come in & go out, seeing boats & yachts passing by. Peaceful, bushy surrounds blissfully listening to bird life. Clean & comfortable furnishings, & has everything needed (& more) in the kitchen & other living areas both inside & out. Peter & Raisa were communicative, helpful, responsive & lovely hosts. It was great to get out & explore the island with lots of hidden gems, fishing spots, & friendly locals. Catching mud crabs was a bonus with the supplied crab pots. Yum! Great house & location, would definitely stay again & recommend to others.

This little gem was absolutely beautiful! We had such a special weekend. The house is small but packs a punch. With everything you need to have a great little weekend away with the family! Awesome yard, we got to bring our furry friend, beautiful veranda for my son to play on. Everything is perfect! We will be back!

We had such an enjoyable stay at Jane’s place. We loved the colourful decor, and beach feel it meant we could relax and feel right at home. The place had everything we needed, and worked well for our dog. Thanks Jane, we would love to visit again.

Very well appointed, comfortable and spacious cottage right by the sea with city views - Vandy has thought of a lot of little touches that make this place a treat to stay in. We’ll be staying here again for sure!

So glad you could fit us in for another night. It was so gorgeous we decided another night would be help us to explore the area more. It is indeed a 3 minute wander to the beach.... you really have a great location with the beach practically on your doorstep. Lovely to get to know you over cards and would love to stay again in the future!

My second visit to Patrick’s’ delightful, clean, peaceful, courteous airb&b. The bayside location is perfect for Brisbane if you’re looking for peace and fresh sea air. I just love this place and will be booking again next year when I return to visit my daughter and her family in Brisbane. A real home from home. Absolutely 5 🌟

Great stay here. Exactly as described. A tiny home but clean, comfortable and the added on deck had such a lovely view to relax and enjoy.

We loved our time at Tangalooma! Such a beautiful place and the beach is so safe for kids to swim. They loved seeing all the wild dolphins. Great family holiday spot!

Amazing view from the rooms and balcony, spotlessly clean apartment, very comfy beds, great location. Cafe at the bottom of the building open everyday, walkable to everything Brisbane has to offer. Will definitely come again. 5 stars!!!

Such a great unit! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here with our kids. Georgia was great to deal with, really clear in things to do, places to go and where to eat out 😊 Extremely helpful with different check in times made for such a good flow in a driving holidays.! The unit itself is exactly like the pictures and so welcoming. Heaps of space, kitchen is FULL of appliances so handy! Rooms are large and beds a comfortable, kids also loved having a tv in their room!. Georgia was so easy to deal with made our stay here way better then others we have stayed during our holidays.!

Harold and Nicolette were superb hosts. Their communication was excellent and made booking and checkin a breeze. The unit was comfortable and clean with everything exactly as advertised. Our favourite part was the little coffee table in the gardens near the pool - it felt like we were on a tropical island. The floor to ceiling security doors allowed us to open up to the sea breeze. The aircon was appreciated on the night there was no breeze. We enjoyed our stay and hope to return for longer next time.

We had a lovely stay, and had all we needed for a comfortable stay. The views of Moreton Bay were incredible. Howard and Melissa were very communicative and friendly.

Beautiful spot. Big enough for all of us (2 adults and 4 kids) Walking distance to great restaurants, fish and chip shop and boardwalk. Woolies is also only a short walk away.

On arrival Di met us showing us through our accommodation and giving us some helpful tips about the island and fishing spots. Our studio was very homely, spotlessly clean and comfortable. We had complete privacy and would definitely recommend this little hidden gem to anyone visiting the island.

My family and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Stuart's Eclectic home. When we arrived we were greeted by a kangaroo in the back yard and had multiple bouncy visitors throughout our stay, as well as some beautiful kookaburras and curlews. It's so close to all the beaches and shops and walking trails, we walked or rode our bikes predominantly. Had a heatwave while we were there so the house was warm in the upstairs living areas in the afternoon as others have mentioned. A great comfortable beach shack and a lovely way to experience the beauty of what Stradbroke Island has on offer.

Lovely stay!! We felt at home straight away. Sheryl and John were very hospitable! They picked us up from the ferry and provided two bikes for us to explore the island. There isn’t a lot to do, but if you like a quiet and peaceful place, this is the place to be :))) Everyone around the island is so friendly and open! The room isn’t really big and the same area as the kitchen, so you need to be good friends to share the room ;)) but really cozy as well! We really enjoyed our stay and would love to come back, thank you so much for everything John!

Off grid and low key. Nothing flash just a open plan cabin with adjoining small bedrooms in a sort of shed. Outdoor cold bath and showers with a single partly enclosed hot shower and toilet. Perfect for us with a few teenagers and toddlers.

Wonderful house for an island stay. Separate kids area downstairs was great and we loved hanging outside on the deck.

The pictures didn’t do this place justice, when we all walked in we were just awestruck with how beautiful the home was and how breathtaking the view was. From the balcony we watched an endless array of whales perform their acrobatics, the salty sea breezes healed my soul and rejuvenated me. This is such a hidden gem. I can’t wait to go back!
