Vacation rentals with a firepit in North Queensland

Stunning stay at this beautiful home. This place was everything we wanted and more. We had pretty rubbish weather and this place was perfect for doing nothing in. There were games provided that we made good use of and had all the cooking utensils and even oil so we could spend the day making food. Jacqueline was so helpful throughout the stay when we had a power cut in the town, sending me info on it straight away which was a relief to us in that moment. The next day our bus was cancelled and we were stuck with transportation. Jacqueline allowed us a later check out to help us which was so kind and made the morning a little less stressful. We enjoyed our stay here so much and is definitely a highlight of our trip. Thank you!

Great neat and tidy house with miles of room for everyone. We had 2 families with children in this house for 1 week and it was a great! A second toilet or seperate toilet to shower would have been great in this situation however we managed perfectly fine! Great stay!

What a wonderful wonderful stay we had here! The home is beautiful and spacious. It had everything we needed and was just so relaxing. The pool and outdoor BBQ space are fab. And I especially appreciated a whole laundry room! Louise was a fabulous host. She always responded so quickly and was super helpful and generous with anything we asked about. And we loved the location. It’s in a very pleasant and quiet suburb but with easy access to lots of wonderful sights-the strand, castle hill, the river, billabong sanctuary… We had such a great stay, thank you so much!

Best Air bnb we've ever experienced! Unbelievable location First class equipped kitchen ... Amber has literally thought of everything. All the little touches that make it a home away from home! Firstly the layout of the house has been well thought out and suited our party of two families of all ages. Enough space for everyone to spread out but excellent to all gather on the deck or in the huge living area! We just loved it and communication with the host was excellent. Would definitely recommend this property and host to everyone.

Location was magic! The boat ramp was just at the bottom of the hill right in front, so perfect for launching the ski boat. Fantastic new kitchen and very functional and easy to use appliances. Not stocked with the essentials so we did have to buy everything required for large cook ups. Our 11 guests stayed in comfort and was perfect for large families. Great outdoor area with a massive table and chairs for large family meals. Also lounge had plenty of room for people to relax inside. Heaps of room for cars and boats with easy access. Enjoyed our break to Tinaroo 🚤👌🏼

We were looking to spend a few days in peaceful surroundings and Sarah’s place was lovely and in a quiet area at Alva. It’s a 15 minute drive to Ayr if you want to shop or grab a bite to eat. We thoroughly enjoyed our long weekend and hope to return again soon.

Jennifer’s place was lovely. Although we only stayed for one night she made great effort to make sure we felt welcome and even gave us some advice for our onward journeys. Place itself is very nice and conveniently located for exploring Cairns and surrounding areas.

We had a truly wonderful experience! Anita was an excellent host who accommodated our group at very short notice when our other accommodation fell through the day before. The house was just stunning! There were gorgeous views from every window, and the kitchen and living rooms very well appointed. We loved the fireplace in particular. Bedrooms were lush with gorgeous linen. Anita was very flexible, offering us early check-in and late check-out. If you are looking for a secluded getaway in a beautiful home within a stunning natural environment, then you should book here!

The accommodation was accurately described and we stayed two nights. Karin ensured that everything was very clean and tidy for our stay and her husband spent time with us to show us around the large cattle property, including awesome views and rainforest creek. Thanks very much guys!

great home away from home vibe. Having a food van outside the door was convenient. The pizza's were delicious, the kids loved them especially. Charlene and her husband looked after us , great host great location just outside of the city life. I loved it. Thanks for the time, will definitely revisit if even for the food!
