We had an excellent 10 day break at Villa Maroulas and Yorghy is a great host. The villa worked well for the 5 of us, with enough space to escape but great spaces to be together. It was quite hot outside but the aircon in the bedrooms works well. The upper terrace has a good sea view and a bit of a breeze. As others noted, it is not a pool for swimming, but we only wanted to cool off - it was perfect for that. The house was well set up. It was restored in 1989 and kept some nice classic features of the original buildings. On arrival, we were very late but Yorghy waited around and laid on some lovely welcome food. He also did a very useful tour the next day to show us places to go and useful recommendations for restaurants. He was on hand if we needed anything and super quick to respond. The cleaner was very quick and efficient. Of the restaurants in Maroulas we recommend Fantastico, Biofarm, Mylopetra. We wouldn’t recommend Katerina. Overall a great stay - thank you Yorghy

Mondelini was a wonderful place for our family holiday. The house itself is gorgeous and spacious, well-maintained and clean. Our kids loved the pool, and we enjoyed watching the lighthouse and the stars from the balcony every evening. George was very helpful throughout, giving us some excellent recommendations and was very responsive when we needed to get hold of him. Would highly recommend!

Thanks Maria and Litsa for a wonderful stay in Petreas Tower! We enjoyed our time in this unique accommodation and loved beautiful Kardamyli. Litsa was a lovely host and made us feel very welcome. Our time here was too short and we would love to come back one day!

Amine is the friendliest, loveliest most helpful host I’ve ever come across. The castle is even more stunning in person, equipped with all one could need. He made sure to help us with anything we needed, and was responsive throughout the stay. Ahmed and layla were super kind and attentive too. Anyone would be lucky to stay here :)

What a place! Castello Di Zante is a beautiful, well-equipped, and peaceful getaway. Foteini was very friendly and attentive whenever we needed something, yet never intruded on our privacy—a perfect balance. We chose Zakynthos for our honeymoon and couldn’t have been happier with our decision. The island and castle were incredibly romantic, making it an ideal spot for us newlyweds. Our top recommendation: Hire a car! While there are some touristy, party-focused areas on the island, there are also many breathtaking spots that are well worth exploring.

From the moment the gates opened at the castle, it was clear to our family, that we were entering a magical place. The photos do not do it justice. We were greeted by Lilliana, host/owner who gave us a tour of the house and garden, complete with the history of it's existence. Castle is filled with family photos and antiques. We felt honored that Lilliana would share her home with us. The walled in garden, complete with swings and pool provided a safe place for our grandchildren to play. The location was conveniently located to the sights we wished to visit, Mount Etna, Catania, Taormina and Syracuse. A short walk from the castle is a restaurant, La Conchiglia and the Blue Bar. I recommend both. There is a good supermarket ten minutes by car. You will need a car as well as patience to navigate the terrain and the narrow roads. Driving can be tricky. Our family enjoyed our week in paradise. I highly recommend this property.

Palazzetto Polara is a pretty unique experience. It is a beautifully positioned property within meters of the imposing Cathedral of S. Giorgio - one of the great sights of the Baroque town of Modica. Modica is in itself a great destination in this part of Sicily with its fine buildings in a truly dramatic setting. There are also a number of good restaurants with very reasonable prices. It was also a great base for exploring the other baroque towns of Noto, Syracuse, Scicli and Ragusa. Within easy reach are also a number of good beaches, as well as leisurely drives through the countryside, vineyards and olive groves. Palazzetto Polara is a joy to stay at - with an imposing sitting room, great bathrooms, spacious bedrooms and a well equipped kitchen. There is both a downstairs terrace and a roof terrace furnished with chairs and tables. You are very much staying in a home rather than a property. Both Rosalie, and Lorenzo the concierge, were extremely helpful with great advice and tips to make the most of our visit. Lorenzo was always on hand to make a stay here trouble free, and also helped with arranging a superb trip to Mt Etna. Palazzetto Polara was a truly memorable experience that I would recommend to anyone.
