Loved our stay here!! Rebecca was an amazing hostess — easy to connect with, responsive, friendly, kind — and we loved everything about our houseboat. It was clearly decorated by ladies with good taste, it was clean, comfortable, and between the candles, the white noise machines, and the diffusers in the bedroom to the coffee station and the well-equipped kitchen, they thought of everything! The whole houseboat experience was just epic, too! Absolutely would recommend staying here, no questions asked. My only regret is not staying longer!

We had a fantastic family vacation! The kids had plenty to do- they LOVED the swing, hot tub, and the gaming table. The gaming table allowed us to teach our 6 year old many new games and it was great bonding. Our dog loved the wide open space to run. Thank you for providing us with a great escape!!

We had another place cancel because a storm knocked out their power. We requested to book with heather day-of around 4PM. She was so quick to respond to our last-minute request. We got in to town late, but it was such a welcoming home, in a quiet neighborhood. It felt like walking into my grandparents’ home. We were very comfortable. Her part of the home is very separate. Our baby cried a few times in the night, and I asked if it kept Heather up. She said that she could not hear it from her room. The other part of the house is separated by a large barn door. Also!!! She even had homemade cinnamon rolls on hand and sent us on our way in the morning with a couple go.

We love this Airbnb! It was our second stay and we plan to make it a yearly tradition. We had a small issue with entering the home this time (totally our fault) and Lacey really quickly replied and helped us out. Great home and hosts!

Awesome house in a great location. Family of four with two littles loved all there was to offer. Visiting friends in Normal and this was close enough while still giving serene, peaceful vibes. Game room, hot tub, and awesome indoor and outdoor space. 11/10 recommend.

Visited with my family so my nephew could do a college visit. Place was great - everyone loved it! My nephews were so thrilled with all the different rooms. Listening to them discover each new space was such a joy. Each door they opened came with a “no way, this is so cool!” Meanwhile, my parents and I kept talking about how they did a great job maximizing every inch of space in that house to make it usable! If my nephew ends up going to school in the area, we definitely plan to go back and stay again. It’s SO close to campus, but still quiet enough. Plus, Donna was a great and attentive host who made our stay seamless and proactively communicated clear instructions. All in all…Worth the price! Thanks Donna!

Platypus Hills is a superb retreat! The home was perfectly equipped, clean and so comfortable! Danielle, Susie, Nancy & Dawn are perfect hosts! Available and friendly but respectful of your privacy. The setting is idyllic and provided me and friends a peaceful and relaxing get away that left us refreshed and re-energized. Just loved our time! Thank you all!

Lisa and Bob were beyond amazing. There flexibility, customer service and kind heart were extraordinary. My experience with them, reminded me that "Good People w/Grand Customer Service" still exist. There home gave off the energy they exhibit - warm, quaint, and cozy. Everything you think you may need was there. We travel often, but not often do you find jewels like we find in Bob, Lisa, and their cozy home. Thanks for providing us with a home away from home.
