Cottage vacation rentals in Niagara River

We had a wonderful weekend. Gorgeous, looks exactly like the photos. Friendly neighbourhood, we went for a walk and everyone said hello to us. Great location to the beach with it being a short little 10 mins walk. Beautiful shops, little pubs. We will be back to enjoy this little slice of heaven during the summer so we can enjoy the outdoor patio and the beach!

An amazing little cottage with a great view of the lake. This house is perfect for a couples weekend getaway. The fireplace is a rustic little touch that warms the living room and gives a cozy atmosphere.

We were beyond impressed with the host and cottage! It is a private space just close enough to Niagara Falls!

I was so fortunate to be able to take a trip to Jacob and Anthony’s cute little home! The sunsets were beautiful. The hot tub was amazing, and the entire house was so incredibly adorable! I was greeted with a thank you card and snacks! The TV was on playing calm music and the house smelled amazing! Everything was incredibly clean and the beds were SO comfortable! Jacob and Anthony both gave amazing suggestions of things to do in the area! I highly recommend them as your Airbnb hosts, and you won’t regret it!

My family and I had the absolute most wonderful weekend here!! Victoria was super responsive and made sure we had everything we needed. We ice fished and cooked on the grill and relaxed in the hot tub. ❤️ it was absolutely wonderful!

this was a great stay! the views from the deck and the living room, the hot tub, the loft, the amenities, the decor and everything was perfect. it was clean and the host was great at communication.

We were stunned at how well equipped the kitchen was. It was a pleasure to cook. There's a lovely bathtub and a dishwasher, washer and dryer. The dogs had a blast romping around the property and the nearby beach. The beds are comfortable and it has 2 nice TVs. Thank you!!!

We had an amazing stay at Leah and Ben’s cozy cottage! The secluded location was the perfect balance of tranquility and convenience, with beautiful views and easy access to nearby attractions like Niagara Falls, Lewiston, and Youngstown. The cottage was adorable—comfortable, well-equipped, and thoughtfully designed with a great open concept. We especially loved the lake view, sun porch, and comfy bed. Leah and Ben were wonderful hosts and very responsive. We had such a positive experience and would absolutely return. Highly recommend this peaceful retreat for anyone visiting the area!

Beautiful place to stay. The cottage had everything we could ever ask for for a 3 day fishing escape. Neat and comfortable rooms and living space, a great outdoor deck space, combined with the outdoor fire pit and wood stove inside. Made our fishing trip more memorable!

We had an amazing stay and cannot wait to go back! My husband, I and our 2.5 year old fell in love with Anne-Marie's place and all of us were sad to leave. The place is clean, beautifully decorated, with all of the amenities you need. It is a very short walk to the beautiful white sand beach and to lots of restaurants, cafes, ice cream and little shops. We also loved that her place is dog-friendly so our old chocolate lab was also able to enjoy the vacation with us. We walked down to the beach each day (it's so awesome that beach passes are included as well), had so much fun playing in the sand and swimming in the warm, clear water that you can walk out far in. We also tried some of the local restaurants and enjoyed all of our meals. And of course, when in a beach town, you have to eat ice cream! We were there on a Thursday so also enjoyed the weekly food-truck festival with live music. Such a beautiful outdoor setting. We will be back next year!

Absolutely amazing stay! We loved the house and it would be great to return. We decided to visit Niagara falls in the winter, it was our first time in the area. I wasn't expecting much of our stay, but it turned out to be a beautiful romantic weekend. The house is right by the lake and has a gorgeous view. You can tell that it was build to be actually used by the hosts and not just a rental property, it is very well-made, cosy, with a lot of nice details and a fully equipped kitchen. We had an great time having breakfast and looking at the lake Ontario. 100% would recommend to stay there!

This was our second time staying, and we will definitely be back. Brian is a wonderful, responsive host. He was very helpful with shoveling when we got stuck in a snow bank due to an unexpected storm. He was kind enough to gift us a bottle of wine, for all the struggles of our weekend. There were some snacks, and bottles of water for us to enjoy.

Great place for a family getaway, with a splendid tranquil environment. Not far away from basic amenities, with a public park within 5 min of walking distance having tennis, pickleball, volleyball and horse riding facilities. A bee farm is also walking distance, where one can get delicious organic honey. The house is quite spacious with numerous patios and sitting areas with spectacular views to suit individuals’ tastes. Restaurants and market place is 20 min drive, and Niagara falls a 30 min drive. The host Teri, was quite friendly and accommodating.

It was a perfect size for our family plus I loved that we could bring our dog. It was our first time at sherkston shores but we definitely will be back and hope to stay again!

Very cute and cozy cottage right near the beach. The host was very responsive and helpful and the cottage was very clean, which we really appreciated. The location was great with the beach just a short walk up and across the road. We loved walking up and down the beach and went a few times a day — our golden retriever was in heaven. It was relaxing and peaceful and a lovely place to get away from the noise of the city for a few days.

My partner and I were looking for an affordable, close, beach getaway when we came across this beautiful resort. We initially booked in for 2 nights and ended up extending our trip twice because of how much fun we were having. We stayed in cottage number 5 first, and then moved to #4 since 5 was booked. The cottages were clean, and cozy with a rustic yet modern feel. They were perfect. The seating area by the stairs that lead to the beach looks and feels like a tropical paradise. There’s a big cabana with palm trees, a long outdoor wooden dinner table, a place to play corn hole, and they even had guitars available for guests to play. The beach was amazing. The water was warm and calm. The sand was soft and white, and there is tons of seating provided by the resort. The staff refill the fire wood for camp fires every day and come by in the mornings to make sure the property is clean for guests. I was extremely impressed with how attentive all of the staff were. We had a fantastic stay at QK's Airbnb! The place was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described. The check-in process was smooth, and all the instructions were super clear. We especially appreciated the thoughtful touches and how well-stocked everything was—it really felt like a home away from home. QK was a responsive and welcoming host, making sure we had everything we needed. Would definitely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing and hassle-free getaway!

Bob’s place was comfortable, clean and included all the basics. The fact that it came with a golf cart & was located across from the Gelato shop was a bonus. My 10 year old fit in the nook with the twin bed but it may be a hard squeeze for an older teen/adult. The Sherkston beach areas were great during the week but got pretty crowded on a Saturday. Overall, we had a wonderful time.
