Thank you for a perfect little stay! Better than photos, comfy bed/bedding which is often skipped w airbnbs. The best little location in trendy, vibey historical dt. Such a nice surprise of a town and accomodations.

absolutely loved staying here! perfect location, has everything that you need. everything works perfectly, enough blankets and cooking supplies. best location ever too. everything you need is just a short walk away, shops, restaurants and grocery store. will definitely look into staying here again next time i’m in town!

This is a beautiful place to stay and I would say better than expected. Everything was very clean, the furnishings were beautiful and relaxing... and there was fruit, scones and croissants waiting for us in the kitchen when we arrived. The bed and bedding was very comfortable upstairs with a cute kitchen and dinette downstairs. Bri met us at the door when we arrived to give us the key. My best friend and I travel together and enjoy trying out new places. I highly recommend staying here :)

Peggy's place was a charming getaway. The garden area was beautiful and it was extremely relaxing under the stars in the hot tub at night. The town itself is beautiful and looks like a fairytale suspended in time. Peggy was a great host and we had a wonderful stay. Would definitely stay again!

Really great place to enjoy some time away. Instructions from the host for locating the apartment, parking, and check-in were clear and easy to understand. Apartment was just as described, was very clean, and had a very comfortable bed. The location was perfect for being able to walk anywhere you want to go in Nevada City and having parking on site was a major benefit.

Loved this cozy little spot! A very short and charming walk to downtown, and just on the outskirts enough to also feel peaceful and quiet. Easy access to many trails. The space is small but the way Carol arranged everything it didn’t feel tight or crowded - the name “The Nest” is so appropriate. With Airbnbs the plumbing, water pressure, and heating can be a gamble - no complaints on plumbing, even in the midst of winter the water heated up well and had good pressure, and the heating was excellent (I cranked it up night one and had to step outside to cool down it got so warm!). Carol checked in a few times to make sure I had everything I needed, and was so sweet. Absolutely loved this stay and would 100% stay again!

Vanessa was such a warm and welcoming host. Her air bnb was so fresh and bright feeling, it helped us feel comfortable and right at home. It felt very private and had beautiful views of the surrounding forest, perfect for a peaceful getaway. Vanessa was very kind and responsive, and made sure we felt comfortable during our stay.

the host is very friendly and the place is private and quite, suitable for stay, but not suitable for cooking, no cover for a single small pan.

Me and my partner spent our anniversary here and it was more than perfect! We were looking to get away from the city and this checked all the boxes and then some! We arrived at night and our host even had a fire started for us it was the perfect check-in! We also happened to fall in love with the town we stayed in, the couple times we went into town the atmosphere felt so welcoming! Truly a beautiful place to stay at, thank you Libby!💐

The Puppet Inn exceeded my expectations. The apartment is very well done -- very nice design & craftsmanship, impeccably clean. We were impressed with all of the little details with regard to decorations and amenities. Quality is the constant theme for everything Marisa and Ray have done in creating this special place, and we appreciated all of that. Charming would be one of many positive adjectives to describe their place. Also, ahead of our visit, I commissioned a custom art piece from Ray as a surprise gift for my wife. Marisa and Ray went the extra mile to help with the surprise reveal of the piece to my wife. At the end of our stay, we were so comfortable with Ray & Marisa, that it felt like we were leaving old friends. We were comforted knowing that they are now our new friends, and we look forward to visiting them again. I would recommend the Puppet Inn to any of my family or friends looking for a quality, charming place to stay in the Grass Valley area.

Merry's Garden is a true gem! We've stayed at many AirBnBs over the past 10 years and this is probably the best overall experience we've had. I cannot say enough about how great the space, neighborhood and Merry herself are. Merry is kind and thoughtful. She has thought of every detail imaginable- from clear and frequent communication to signage for the parking space (a great spot!) to little info cards with instructions for amenities, to extra linens, fresh flowers on the little breakfast table....and on and on. The space is charming- It felt cozy and comfortable but was also quite large with everything we needed. The bed was large and very comfy and the views in the many windows were lovely. The place feels like it's out in the country but it was a 5 min walk to town. Merry was flexible and understanding about us coming in unexpectedly late and also worked with us on our checkout time. The price for the charm and quality of this place is a steal. We plan to come back!

I always appreciate it when Airbnbs have personal touches. Brandon’s place was a great example of that. It was also so peaceful, cozy, and incredibly clean. Our favorite was waking up surrounded by trees in the morning. We loved our stay here!

Good stay for the price, I would stay again. Nice quiet dead end street. Beautiful oak trees. Enjoyed walking in the park. Large dining hall with computer desk. Close to town, but still quiet. There’s 2 park gates across the street, one in each direction. But beware of the many large dogs often off leash inside the park. I appreciated not having an attached kitchen to the room, it made the room extra quiet (mini fridges buzzing in hotel rooms can be loud). I’m autistic and my nervous system could actually rest here. Soft bed. It is community living and sound travels, it was minimal but sometimes temporarily annoying. Some furniture was worn down but adequately covered. For women staying here: there are no deadbolts or security locks aside from the keypad, and the room door to the hallway opens outwards so an extra hotel security lock won’t work here.

Staying with Danny & Joanie was like staying with old friends. Communication was quick, clear, friendly & welcoming. Close to town feeling worlds away. Their place was as described. The pictures cannot encompass the serenity or breathtaking beauty of the panoramic views from the large deck. The swimming hole was absolutely amazing! They had numerous sitting areas by the water & it was exquisitely peaceful. The water was so refreshing on a warm summer day & the waterfalls & pools were simply gorgeous. That swim was certainly one of the highlights of our journey, as was meeting Danny & Joanie. They were so kind & thoughtful, making sure all our needs were met without ever being intrusive. The bed & couch were comfy. The kitchen & bathroom had all the essentials along with many little touches like flashlights by each bedside. We enjoyed meals out on the expansive deck. We left refreshed & feeling we had 2 new, wonderful friends. We highly recommend their place for a comfy & relaxing stay.

Chris and Leigh were really hospitable. The house was very clean and comfortable. I can say that it was the most peaceful time we had. I definitely recommend it. Thank you very much Chris and Leigh for your service and generosity.
