Vacation rentals with an accessible-height bed in Nepal

We felt very welcome at Sunil’s place. We were in the house of the family but had our private room and bathroom. They are very open to help and chat, and prepare meals when we wanted to eat there, and at the same time we felt totally free to go out and come in, or just watch a movie in our room at night. Sunil and his family are definitely examples of the reknowned Nepalese hospitality and friendliness! I highly recommend to stay over at Sunil’s place!

This is a very clean and cost-effective home. I highly recommend it. You can also walk to the Korean restaurant garden nearby. Both the owner and staff are friendly and helpful.

Wonderful, stylish apartment with all the things you need! Super comfortable, clean and always easy to communicate with Subu & Mala. The location is fantastic in the middle of Thamel but in a quite side street. Highly recommended and I will be back.

We booked with Thupten because he was very responsive and was willing to store luggage for us on our trek. We RE-booked with Thupten because he was extremely kind, helpful and flexible for the entirety of the time we were in Pokhara. His location is slightly out of the main touristy area so if you want a little reprise from Lakeside but still be extremely walkable Thupten is the perfect host! His booking is on the higher side relative to other spots in Pokhara, but Thupten's place felt the most like home the entire time we were in Nepal. Clean, tidy. A large breakfast and coffee/tea whenever we wanted, and unlimited hospitality. If we go back to Pokhara we will 100% stay with him again.

This is hidden gem. Literally about 1000ft from Patan a World Heritage Site, its tucked away down an alley so no road noise. Peaceful and quiet. Veg and fruit stands very near and butcher in addition to convenience store. Labim mall only 10 min walk. Zoo maybe 15 min walk. Gyms also (titan 10 min walk). For Patan if you have passport photo you can get for the 1000npr entrance fee, a pass for the length of your visa. This gets you access to it and the museum. The museum cafe has fantastic food set in gorgeous garden (best bara in lalitpur). Momo rooftop cafe has best views of patan. Go for sunset. Below it and across alley is coffee shop where they will grind fresh nepal coffee beans if have french press at home. Use your pass to hang out either in the sun or in eve w the locals. Amazing space. Apartment has access to rooftop also w table and chairs. Very comfortable bed. All basic kitchen needs. Hot water shower.

Clean and comfortable space away from the hustle of the main city street. Host Yi is always available on call. Generally has guests sitting in common spaces to interact with. Amazing location with great views & restuarants. Rooms are neat and basic functional. Is a 1 minute walk from the main road on a rocky patch (difficult with multiple/ inconvenient luggage). Local network was low in general in the area but Wi-Fi at the property was good.

What a cute cosy little spot! Just perfect 👌☺️✨ It’s been many years since I felt that local texture in Kathmandu and this little cosy home was absolutely amazing to return to after gentle strolls around the beautiful surroundings. It’s one of my best homestay experiences. The place is very near to the lakeside cafes and yet in a by lane peacefully tugged in, very accessible to go anywhere. It’s beautiful, clean, neat, just love it. The host is extremely helpful, picked me up from the airport, dropped me to my trek pick up destination and also picked me after trek; extremely resourceful and helpful in changing my flight dates. The b’fast is nice. Just feels so much safe and secured being a solo female traveler. I strongly suggest that it’s a very nice homestay in Pokhara.

We enjoyed the stay here very much! Kiran is so nice and prompt respond. If I have to give 1 suggestion, we would like to suggest Koran to prepare a water boiler in the apartment. Thank you again. 10 starts for the accommodation!
