Our stay at the cabin was perfect. The view is just stunning and the sauna and hot tub just adds to the overall vibe of that place. However, the cabin is on a hill with not the best access, but it was not a big issue for us, but if you're older or have some kind of physical disabilities, this cabin might not be the best fight, but Anders has multiple cabins to choose from :) I hope to visit again some time, it was definitely worth it!

The place is nice to have relaxing time, everything you need is around, you can get it from downtown just few minutes of drive, there is halal restaurants

Had a great weekend with friends with great food and relaxation in the hot tub. The cabin was bright and cozy and the surrounding area was scenic and peaceful and with a great view that could imagine a trip here in the summer when the days are brighter🤩.

Beautiful location, very cozy cabin. Because the cabin is often used privately, there are all possible kitchen appliances. The hottub didn't have any bubbles, but you don't really need them. It was very warm and we enjoyed it during the cold weather. You don't need to wash any bed linens as mentioned in some older reviews. Generally a great place to stay!

We had a great stay! The area is beautiful. We were happy with the small market for groceries, they had more than expected. The fireplace was amazing and the view was outstanding!! We had a hike in the forest and it felt truly magical.

We had a wonderful time in Norway and especially in Theresa’s cabin. Everything from the arrival to the departure was clear and simple. Theresa was very polite and helped us in every way when we had questions. We really recommande her ! If you want to disconnect from everything and be connected to nature, we recommend you this place. A wonderful cottage, 12 min from Sogndal in absolute tranquility. It was equipped with everything you need, even with important little things, like spices. In addition, it was clean and very comfortably furnished.

We had a great stay - the cabin has everything you need and is very cozily furnished. Kristi and her husband are very friendly hosts - we felt very comfortable and can only recommend it.

I loved being in this so cozy authentic cabin. The soul can unwind & heal here. The view of the fjords from the panoramic window is incredibly beautiful. My hikes to many beautiful waterfalls, right nearby and the sight of the surrounding fjords, was a very intense, powerful experience for me. This place had something magical for me, even the few people I met here. Per Kato is an absolutely likeable, helpful & down-to-earth person. He picked me up from the ship on request and personally said goodbye. I was allowed to fire the fireplace, which made the evenings in the cabin so wonderfully "muggy". The journey to Trandal through the Hjorundfjord is an experience in itself. You arrive by ship from Alesund and get off into a different world. You don't need a car here, which makes the origin of this landscape even more appealing. Thanks for having me !

We had a wonderful stay at Maria's place. despite rainy weather we were able to enjoy nature and recharge. we were able to fish from the dock at the bottom of the house and on the fjord thanks to the boat which was at our disposal. This vacation will remain unforgettable.

Skogbu is a hidden gem in the beautiful, wild surrounds of Bulandet. Such a comfortable, cosy home from which you can watch the eagles, search the shorelines for otters and walk or kayak around the many islands. We absolutely loved our stay and hope that we’ll be able to come back one day. Thank you for being such wonderful hosts!

The cabin is rustic and your can tell it is a real mountain cabin. The location was spectacular and getting to the cabin was a wonderful hike. And Mari was a perfect host.

Loved staying at this typical norwegian cabin. Beautiful area and well equipped with lots of firewood, cooking equipment, blankets, candles and a lot more.

I don’t even know how to describe the beauty of this place—staying on the Sognefjord was truly an incredible experience. The host was extremely kind and thoughtful, even giving us fresh eggs from their own farm. The water here is a bit salty, so the host thoughtfully provided clean drinking water. Everything was simply wonderful.

A very nice house next to a family’s farm in a super quiet area by a beautiful lake. It was so nice to have the little boat close by, and other great things in the area like the floating sauna and the hike up the hill from the cabin which was steep but beautiful with an amazing panoramic view among the sheep. Our hosts were very responsive and helpful. We would definitely recommend to stay here if you want some peace and quiet in a beautiful environment. For my personal taste the pillows were a bit too flat, but that’s really a matter of preference :). The rest of the bed was totally fine!
