If you’re looking for a place for a group to have an amazing cottage experience, look no further. Fantastic location, great property, huge! Cannot recommend it enough and fantastic communication.

Would recommend as a solo retreat or a group getaway. Lots of solitude and relaxation, I’d definitely come back!

Everything was great! Appreciate that amenities and toiletries are well stocked and prepared for arrival and for length of stay. Place is next to major roads but very peaceful and comfortable. Close by all attractions and activities in Blue Mountain. Wonderful and relaxing time spent :)

Dave and Bonnie put alot of love into this place and it shows. It is beautiful, cozy and romantic getaway in the winter. It is private and quiet. The town of Lakefield is lovely and everything is very accessible walking or driving from this place. The parking is great and the town as well as Dave and Bonnies place is well maintained in the snowy winter weather. We love this spot.

Michael and Margaret are great hosts. We head up to their place every winter now for a little cottage country escape. They are super responsive and helpful. Their place is warm, cozy, and has a great hot tub under the stars (and under the snow if you’re lucky). We’ll be back again!

Nice home in a quiet and safe feeling neighbourhood. Easy to find and access. Big back yard for kids and dog (although not fully fenced, which was fine as we brought our own leash). We arrived from out of province (via flying) and were surprised to find the beds already made with the necessary linens (we had packed our own via suitcase as per the ad details). But we appreciated the kind gesture had we somehow failed to bring our own! The kitchen is updated (so different from pictures) but still has all the appliances and cooking items a family would need for their stay. Lots of stores (grocery, banks, restaurants, Canadian Tire etc) are within a 10 min drive or less, making “going into town” to grab stuff a breeze. Plus having access to a hot tub, sauna and BBQ are a very nice treat :) We had a very comfortable stay and appreciated Tamila’s prompt responses for any questions we had. Would happily stay again!

The Chalet is absolutely stunning. A great getaway for bigger groups. The chalet is so spacious yet cozy. Snag the primary bedroom with soaker tub. Will be coming back!

hosts were very welcoming and friendly. the cabin was amazing and very private. a perfect getaway with a backwoods feel. the bed is comfortable and was very warm despite the cold weather. would book here again!

Peaceful escape that’s close to the city. It’s nice to have hotel-like amenities but also privacy and a full kitchen

The farmhouse is absolutely beautiful and picturesque. We were there during the biggest snow storm of the year and it felt like we had our own private winter wonderland. She had arranged for a plow to clear the driveway and everything went very smoothly despite getting over a meter of snow in 3-4 days. The house itself is beautiful and is a great mix of old timey charm and character as well as modern amenities (new kitchen, bedroom and bathroom). We especially enjoyed sitting in the living room with the fireplace going while relaxing and riding out the snowfall. This was one of the most relaxing stays we have had with plenty of privacy and beautiful views. It is also close enough for short trips to Collingwood/Blue Mountain. Johanna is also a great host. Although we did not meet face to face, she was very responsive and provided lots of information and local recommendations. She even checked in on us to make sure we didn't get completely snowed in. Overall a great experience!

Our second stay at Nicks retreat, just as great as the first time! 40 mins drive to Algonquin park, cute bakery and shops in maynooth and a large yard for a full game of football

A great retreat for a New Year’s nest. Loved the hot tub in the snow - and the bunkie! Very relaxing, comfortable. You should organize your food supply carefully though as it would take about 2 hours (40 min to Foodland, 40 min back and 20 min shopping). We were fine as we had brought lots of food with us. Also, the walls between the two bedrooms are very thin, so if you have a snorer….Otherwise, a wonderful property!!

We stayed at Bryan’s over family day weekend and had a great time. The home was spacious and comfortable. We are hoping to return in the summer :)

Amazing house, felt like home immediately! Super comfy beds and sofas, great design, very good kitchen. We spent a great time and would definitely stay at Adam’s place again!

Excellent place by a fantastic host. The place was clean, well located and has everything you would need such as kitchen utensils, games + TV, and plenty of clean quality towels. Ulana and Amir were also very friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay a lot.

Would highly recommend! A very spacious spot with lots of activities and lovely surroundings. The place is very cozy with the wood burning stove and plethora of candles. Annette was very pleasant, responsive and accommodating! We had a great time playing with her dogs in the snow. We will be back!

Fantastic property with the back fields. Our dogs had a blast. Some fantastic options for food around. Had an unexpected issue during our stay that is out of their control. They were very responsive and reasonable to communicate with. Will still come back and certainly recommend to others.

Only have great things to say! Jason and Tanya were the most responsive and helpful hosts I’ve ever dealt with. Communication was 10/10. The reality of the home matched the photos and description. There was no “marketing”. It was as advertised and we couldn’t be happier! Place is 10/10. And finally, it was so comfortable and felt like home and not a rental. We couldn’t be happier. Definitely recommend!

A lovely stay in Blue Mountain with my family for new years! Greg was extremely communicative and was always quick to respond with any inquiries. The location is walking distance to the village and the neighbourhood had the most friendliest people. We felt right at home and Greg's place had all the right amenities for our family's needs. We will definitely come back here for our next stay in Blue!
