House vacation rentals in Mount Washington, Pittsburgh

We live in Florida and have family spread out through Pennsylvania so we decided to rent an AirBnB over the holidays so that we could spend Christmas together. The space was perfect for our family. The adults each had their own bedrooms and the kids slept here and there as kids like to do. The hostess put up a Christmas tree which was such a thoughtful surprise for us. The kitchen was a great space with plenty of room to cook and eat. We had plenty of coffee (thank you!) and snacks in a cute display. The location was perfect for us because we were mainly interested in spending time together and not going anywhere. It was very peaceful. This would also be a great place to spend time with family in the summer since it has a pool, play set, trampoline and fire pit and plenty of run around room for kids. We may just come back to enjoy that part of it more in warmer weather. I would stay here again in a heart beat.

This is one of the best Airbnbs we have stayed in. Stacy and Dave have set such high standards. In addition to their beautiful home, what stood out was their attention to detail and how thoughtful they were about guest's needs and comfort. The house was very well equipped with everything essential and much more. We felt comfortable as soon as we walked into their home. They were responsive and very friendly. I look forward to going back soon again.

Anthony’s place was beautiful. Nicely updated and clean. Great location and very walkable. Easy five minute walk to the T station as well as shops and coffee shops. Short drive to many Pittsburgh attractions. Anthony was very responsive when I had a question and got back to me right away. I would definitely recommend his place and hope to stay again!

Scott’s place made us feel right at home! He was very responsive when we had questions. Great peaceful location and had all the amenities that we needed. I highly recommend.

The house was perfect for what we needed. Very spacious and room for everyone. Natasha was very quick to respond and communicated with clear answers.

Beautiful place, the pool area was amazing. Had everything we needed and more. Totally recommend this place to anyone - especially families with kids etc. Definitely stay there again if we have the chance.

The neighborhood is exactly as described. We live in Phillipsburg NJ and it too was devastated by the collapse of manufacturing and US Steel and it, like Duquesne, is starting to come back to life. Being here inspired me to look up the history of the area and appreciate it even more. I loved the view from the backyard as it is unobstructed by houses. I also loved all the retro furniture and trinquites throughout the house. We felt right at home and enjoyed our stay thoroughly.

Can’t say enough about what a great stay I had—Rita’s house is in a super walkable part of the city, close to shops, cafes, restaurants and other amenities on Liberty and Penn. The deck is perfect for sitting out and stargazing. Rita is a wonderful host, super communicative and accommodating. Highly recommend!

Loved staying at Julie’s place and hope to in the future! I had some concerns about the patio and lighting and Julie was quick to respond even late Friday night. The place was clean, easy to find, simple check in and check out. Convenient on the North Side.

We have stayed at many Airbnb’s over the years but without a doubt Leah was the best host we have had. Super quick responses to any questions, very friendly, and went out of her way to make us feel at home - even had fresh flowers on our arrival. The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and supplied with everything we needed - a high chair and toys, coffee pods for our morning coffee, convenient laundry across the hall, just to name a few. The apartment stayed warm despite the 20 degree weather outside. Located in a great area with numerous restaurants (and the best bagels in Pittsburgh) just a few blocks away. Overall a great place to stay!

The home was extremely clean and well kept. The pictures offer a good representation of the property. The owner is extremely responsive and helpful. Will definitely stay here again.

Ellie’s place was very comfortable, clean, and in a great location! Ellie was helpful and responsive. We had a short trip, but would love to come back to visit and would definitely stay at Ellie’s again.

Wonderful place to stay with a responsive, friendly, and accommodating host. We would love to stay here again! My kids and I enjoyed all of the games and slept comfortably. We had everything we needed and the house was beautiful and clean. Awesome deck off the living room for nicer weather too. Amazing view (a bit steep to climb but worth the view at the top!!)

This house was perfect for visiting family nearby. We traveled with a 15 month old and the house amenities were fantastic for a baby/toddler. The house was comfortable and checked all the boxes.

Jill is an awesome host. She was very quick to respond and super helpful. Her home was perfect for our stay in Pittsburgh with another couple and our 2 dogs. We very much enjoyed the large space, very comfortable! The bed we slept in was sooooo comfy! I'm now considering getting a mattress topper too! Thank you for your hospitality!

The city view home was very clean and stylishly decorated. Jeff responded very quickly when we arrived sooner than expected and wanted to check in early. He also responded quickly when I requested the temperature turned down since it was warmer in the home than we are used to. The view from the 2 outdoor balconies was a beautiful view of the city. The home is very short drive to Carson Street where there are many restaurants to visit. Will definitely love to stay again when we travel with friends.

Lived here for about 7 weeks while on clinical as a medical student in the Pittsburgh area. My boyfriend and I and our 2 cats felt right at home here. The house was very clean and fully equipped with everything (and more) we could think of and needed. The sun room was also a very nice addition. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful and we felt safe the entire time. Erykah also provided an alarm system to use if we wanted. She was an amazing host and was responsive any time we had trouble with something or needed something. She is also super personable and I enjoyed getting the chance to meet her too. If you are in need of a long term stay in the Pittsburgh area I 10/10 recommended staying here. Will miss this place just bc it felt like home! Thank you Erkyah!

What a beautiful place to stay ! If you need somewhere in the Pittsburgh area this is your place to be . Wife and I were on our honeymoon to see a Steelers game . When we got there we were greeted by a very sweet note along with candy and even a terrible towel from Patricia . It was a very nice gesture after a long day of travel . We were also blown away by how spotless this place was . I’ve stayed in a few airbnbs and I usually prefer hotels because they usually don’t live up to the photos and leave me disappointed. This was not the case here , I actually thought the photos didn’t do this place justice on how nice it was ! Super clean and truly felt like home which made our trip relaxing . Location is nice and quiet and only a 20 min drive to downtown which was perfect . I highly recommend this place , worth every penny !

Nice to have two separate spaces, especially in the morning as people got up. Plenty of gathering space for larger groups in the kitchen and living rooms as well.
