Chalet vacation rentals in Mount Baldy

Where do I start? Maia's place was amazing!!! From the beautiful welcome basket when we arrived, complete with wine, snacks and hot chocolate, it was lovely. Also, I shared with Maia that we would be checking in late, and she and Craig had the porch lights on and the heat on so it was toasty inside for us, it was such a thoughtful touch. The house is clean, well laid out, and the kitchen is well stocked. It was dog friendly, and the back yard was great for our two small dogs. Bob the bluejay and his friends paid us a visit and they were quite the characters. Maia even has peanuts for you to feed them and we thoroughly enjoyed that. Maia's cabin has the best "House Guide" I've ever seen in an Air BnB, complete with manuals for the appliances as well as local menus and a full directory. Maia is responsive and oh so kind and I just want to say thank you for a wonderful stay. You are truly remarkable and we would definitely love to come back!

We had such a wonderful stay! The view was incredible and the sunsets are breathtaking! Our kids loved the bunk beds and we had everything we needed for our stay. We were able to see both Lake Arrowhead and Big Bear since this is located between the two. Thank you for a great trip!

Our stay at Ginny’s cabin made for a perfect experience for our family…. again! We love the location, and the abundance of snow was an extra bonus this past week. The cabin is so charming and cozy. We brought wood for the fireplace. The warmth and the ambience made everything just perfect. We had great communication with the host. The property is quite private and very quiet. It doesn’t take long to get to town, but you feel like you are out in the country and far enough away from the traffic and the tourists. We loved the cabin before Ginny added the Internet and TV; but it was so nice to have both this time. Bear Pause is also a great place to “unplug” and refresh from the busy Southern California lifestyle. We are so grateful to have this cabin as our go-to getaway. Thank you Ginny. We will be back soon!

We had a truly happy and memorable family holiday at Kelsey’s chalet. Kelsey was very proactive and directions were easy. The chalet itself is very comfortable and beautifully decorated, and we loved sitting around the cozy fireplace in the evenings. The hot tub is fabulous, especially under the stars at night, and we had lots of fun with our grandkids in the games room. Another plus - it’s only a five minute stroll to all the nice cafes in Wrightwood. A real winner!

Beautiful property and location. We really enjoyed our stay there. It was worthy. We will go back again for sure in the future.

Perfect Cozy Cabin for a Ski Weekend! We had an amazing stay at this cabin for our ski weekend in Big Bear! The space was beautifully decorated, cozy, and had everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The bathrooms and linens were spotless, which we really appreciated. Check-in was a breeze with clear instructions, and the hosts were incredibly communicative throughout our stay. A standout touch was that they even offered us a late check-out without us having to ask—such great hospitality! Highly recommend this place, and we’d love to stay here again on our next trip to Big Bear!

This was my first time booking an Airbnb, and I was a bit nervous, but it turned out to be an amazing experience! James was very responsive to my questions on the app, which made everything smooth. I’m so glad he suggested Snow Summit—it had plenty of space and a great viewing area for those of us watching our group try snowboarding for the first time. The instructions were easy to follow, and the home was comfortable and well-equipped. We used the kitchen a lot, and my favorite part was the instant hot water—that was a bonus! I loved that people left saran wrap, reynolds wrap, seasoning, zip loc. bags, etc because it saved us a trip to the store for little things we dont think about packing. Plus, the fenced backyard was perfect for my little dog to run around during potty breaks. I would absolutely stay at James’ home again next time we visit Big Bear

Wonderful stay! It was everything as described and more. Our family (4 adults and 2 kids) enjoyed the warm and relaxing home filled with all the comforts. Kitchen was fully stocked with all the supplies needed. And we enjoyed the peace and beauty feeling tucked away in the mountains but also so close to all the fun things Big Bear has to offer.

10 out of 10! Location is a major PLUS for us! We booked this cabin for my family because my 2 boys are still learning snowboarding. The description says it’s walkable to Bear Mountain, thinking we walk maybe 5 to 10 min BUT little did we know it’s NEXT to BEAR MOUNTAIN!!! Very convenient! Every morning, my boys would play with the snow and walk straight to the lifts. Can’t beat the time saved for driving to the ski park and looking for parking. We booked the cabin for the long weekend and the night before we check in, it rained pretty hard, we didn’t know that there’s a road closure until the owner called us and mentioned about it. That’s a HUGE PLUS for me and my family, that was very nice. Easy and fast response and make sure that our stay was comfortable. The cabin is super cute! Charming, homey and clean! Hot tub was a bonus! We love our stay and we are definitely coming back to stay again. Thank you for a nice stay.
