House vacation rentals in Mortain-Bocage

We loved our short stay at Philippe's chalet. Coming to spend a weekend with the family, the place perfectly matched the expectations we had. The place is quiet and peaceful, the view from the cottage is beautiful. The accommodation is clean and functional, we will recommend it to those around us. Philippe is also an available host, who was able to offer us lots of activities and visits to do in the surrounding area.

The holiday was just what we needed. It's a place where you can really relax! Very rustic and rural but with supermarkets a 10 minutes drive away. We were a family of 5 adults and 2 children and the bedrooms were just right. The attic rooms do have low doors, I might have hit my head more than once but I am quite clumsy. The kitchen is particularly well equipped with everything you need. Jennifer is a lovely host, although she lives next door and can often be seen gardening is not obtrusive but very chatty should you want. We thoroughly enjoyed feeding the sheep, chickens, rabbit and horse. The pool is a great size, not too deep which meant our 8 year old could stand up. It's not heated but we braved it! It's a lovely location where you can venture out but could happily stay at home and explore the grounds. It's wonderful at night, with no light pollution you can see stars very clearly and we enjoyed watching bats and spotting glow worms! Thanks for a lovely week

Steve & Dawn have a lovely house, very clean, comfortable and pleasantly heated. My family and I were so welcome, and so kindly! Even our 6-month-old kitten was quickly comfortable for his first trip. We forgot his croquettes and Steve & Dawn were adorable, having a cat themselves, offered us little croquettes. The extra breakfast is definitely worth it and was delicious. Thank you for everything! The Delrieu Family

Very good stay at the crystal cottage surrounded by horses, peaceful and pleasant place.

We had booked the three gites as a family holiday with three generations getting together. It was perfect, with each of us having our own individual houses and plenty of outside space around each property so that we had some privacy from each other if we wanted it. The outside space worked really well and we were able to all eat together outside (Best place Jasmine cottage) whilst the two grandchildren (18 months and 8 years old) could run around safely and play with the various toys and have lots of fun and games together. The little one loved the train in Jasmine cottage especially. Although we had mixed weather we managed to visit St Malo, Arromanches, Avranches and the beach at Carolles and also got to relax/play in the pool. Thanks to Graham and Clare for giving us the chance to enjoy this time together.

Philippe's place is super well located and equipped. We came to Jullouville to celebrate Christmas with the family and this pied à terre was absolutely perfect for us. There was no shortage of things in the house. The little jar of honey made by Philippe was very nice for our arrival. We recommend 100% and will come back without hesitation

Really hidden gem in the heart of Suisse Normande. The house is perfectly suited for a family of 4 who wants to enjoy the village and its beautiful surroundings. We’ll come back.

We had a great weekend with friends in this beautiful and large house. All the bedrooms are spacious, the seating area is very nice, we could all be comfortably settled. The wood burning stove was really nice too. The hand towel equipment in the bathrooms and kitchen with sponge dish soap etc was a real plus to make it easier for us on a weekend. Thanks again to Janet and Lee for your trust and your basket filled with local products upon arrival delighted us!

We had a great time at Freddy's place. Even for 4 months I was able to walk to Mont St Michel from the cottage, otherwise the departure of the shuttles to get there is not too far away. The place was spotless, we really enjoyed this charming cottage.

We had a pleasant stay in Normandy at Catherine's cottage. Peace and quiet and walking are positive. Catherine was welcoming, especially with the attention to detail upon arrival. The cottage is comfortable and well-equipped, a shame for the 2nd shower (broken) but with organization it was. We'll be back with pleasure. I recommend ++

Sebastien is a very welcoming and responsive host. We had a nice Christmas Eve at this beautiful home. In addition, it was accommodating on our arrival time, in a festive period. We'll be happy to come back, maybe in summer this time, to enjoy a little more of the outdoor setting.

Very nice cottage, much bigger than expected! A great garden and terrace, which we unfortunately could only use to a limited extent because of the weather. Fabien and Muriel are very good hosts, respond to questions immediately, very nice and helpful! We can recommend the property!

very nice house, good location and quiet. very accessible at sea level and for walks by the sea but the car remains essential to do this. the accommodation is spacious, the bedrooms large and the bedding really very good. lots of dishes, dishes, appliances. big + on the washer/ dryer accessible (especially when you have children) very responsive hosts when we needed.
