House vacation rentals in Morris County

An old friends reunion for 4 nights, the house is exactly what we were looking for: private, quiet, close to town for groceries, 2 state parks 15min for hiking, bbq, games, fire pit, etc. We had a wonderful time. And it feels like a true home, not like other Homegoods type airbnb without soul. Host very accomodating and responsive. Would book again.

This house and Niki were both fantastic. Even without the pool in the backyard it would have been perfect for our reunion gathering; with the pool, and the long table for outdoor meals, it was beyond our expectations. Communication with Niki was easy, timely, and super-clear. Fun, even. Our group has no complaints and nothing but praise. If you want your small-to-medium sized group to gather together in the South Orange area, this place is for you!

We stayed for a month, and we were very sad to leave! The house was cozy, absolutely spotless, and comfortable - it truly felt like being at home! Heline was so responsive, and we didn’t have to worry about a single thing. She sent helpers to shovel snow and spread salt, and every amenity was well thought out. Check in was a breeze, and we were so surprised to see little toiletries in the bathrooms - similar to a hotel! The downstairs hangout area was cozy, and the fireplace was the perfect touch for a movie night. The house is located next to a variety of restaurants, grocery stores, and shopping. 11/10 recommend to anyone who wants to visit NJ.

Angela was phenomenal. She went all out to check up on me and make sure everything I needed was catered for. Her place is beautiful and very organized. I will definitely book her again. I highly recommend her place to anyone. Thanks again, Angela!

I don’t have enough words to describe how good of experience this was, for the first time i would say that the pictures showed less that what this home is, this home is huge, gorgeous and have everything that could possible need. My family was very very happy, the access was easy, very clean and Chris was a supper host. We forgot our passport and he was so attentive to speak to us and made sure to send it in the mail. He saved our lives there, that meant a lot for us. We would definitely coming back. honestly, one of the best places that i stayed. If you choose this home i bet you anything you will not regret :)

We had a wonderful holiday stay at Jake’s beautifully maintained historic property. The house is spacious and fully updated, with a charming, rambling layout and bonus spaces like a separate garage and studio. The picturesque grounds, with unique water features and wooded areas, provided a serene backdrop for our visit. The kitchen was highly functional and perfect for preparing family meals, and the modern, spotless bathrooms added to the comfort. The standout was the master wing, offering privacy, style, a luxurious soaking tub, and a cozy gas fireplace in the bedroom. The quiet neighborhood is close to a great grocery store (5-6 minutes away). While there are no sidewalks, daylight walks were enjoyable, with nearby destinations to explore. Jake has created a welcoming, contemporary space within a historic home, making it an ideal home base for visiting family or friends. It’s a great place to gather, share meals, and enjoy quiet entertaining.

Lisa was an amazing host! She did her best to accommodate my family, and then some! The house felt like home. It was a great experience!

Amazing Stay with a Beautiful Lake View We had a fantastic experience staying at Angelica's place! She was an incredible host—responsive, friendly, and attentive to every detail. The home was exceptionally comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing getaway. The highlight was definitely the stunning lake view; it was such a treat to wake up to that every morning. I couldn't have asked for a better experience, and I'll definitely be staying here again. Highly recommend Angelica’s place to anyone looking for a peaceful and cozy retreat!

Words cannot describe how much of a blessing it was for us to have found Phil & Terri’s place. We needed a medium term stay in Hackettstown across the winter holidays from overseas and it’s slim pickings around the area. It’s definitely country region and one of a few different dwellings on a private farmstead. One above and attached, and two other small independent units. You are surrounded by beautiful farmland and the views are amazing. Kids loved playing around the little pond, used the stocked bonfire pit, explored the tractors, diggers, and wagons scattered around the acreage. The place was stocked with the living essentials, spare travel toiletries, plenty of coffee and fixings, spices for cooking, and a super modern appliances, washer and dryer. Comfy beds and baths. The high speed internet and Amazon Firestick TVs are super helpful. Not great phone signal but totally fine on WiFi calling or VoIP. They are super hosts. We will definitely be back. And it was just amazing!!!!

Emily's place was perfect for a NYC visit! The house is very comfortable and spacious and well appointed. It is easy to walk to Main Street and to the grocery store. The NJ transit is also walking distance away. We visited family in Short Hills for the Holidays and it made our trip easy and enjoyable.

This is our second time staying at Bella Casa and it continues to be our favorite. Pete is an excellent host and the house just feels like home to us. My two boys LOVED the air hockey table!

We stay at Ashton and May Ann's lake house 4 times a year. It's like coming home for us. We love being there in all season's, whether the wind whips across the frozen lake, or it's June and we can hang out on the deck and watch birds. It's literally 25 feet to the waters edge. If you are looking for super luxury it's not the place for you, but if you're looking for comfort, and peace and quiet with all the necessities you could need, we highly recommend it!

Anna was wonderful! She was always available whenever we needed to reach out and answered all our questions promptly. She also accommodated my special request to avoid using anything with fragrances before our arrival, which I truly appreciated. The house was impeccably clean and dust-free a huge plus for us due to our allergies. It felt incredibly cozy, and my husband and I especially loved sipping our morning coffee while enjoying the beautiful view, even while being snowed in. We also appreciated the extra pillows, blankets, bedding, towels, and paper towels everything was well stocked for a party of four. We would love to come back in the summertime!

This home exceeded my family and I expectations. We did not want to leave. We wanted to extend our visit due to the coziness of the home.

Our stay at this property was amazing! It was our first trip with our puppy and the backyard and grounds were perfect for her to run around and feel free within the tall fences. The home was clean and well organized with small eclectic areas to settle into - like reading in the sun of a beautifully positioned window or sitting in a cushy chair and watching tv. My family couldn’t have felt more at home and we plan to come back for future visits. Highly recommend!

I had the BEST time staying at Adam and Laura’s place! It’s just an hour outside the city and so close to town, super convenient with a supermarket and some amazing restaurants nearby. The house itself is gorgeous, with three floors and plenty of comfy beds and seating for everyone. Each room was spotless and cozy, and the hot tub was the perfect touch. I was there to celebrate my birthday, and my friends and I had a blast! The house feels like a home, with just the right balance of personal touches that made us feel comfortable without overstepping. And I’ve got to mention the awesome arcade-style video game, such a fun surprise! I can’t recommend this place enough. We had such a great time, and I’ll definitely be booking again! Huge thanks to Adam and Laura for making this trip unforgettable.

Renee was a great host. Check in was easy, the garage and doors were easy to use, Renee was responsive to all of our questions and the house comfortably slept our family of 2 adults, 3 kids and a baby. There are a ton of amenities like a wine fridge and smart TV that meant we could have a chilled glass of red while the kids found their favorite shows. The house is beautiful and sits on a scenic hillside in South Orange. It’s easy to walk up the hill and see panoramas of NYC. We loved walking to get bagels with our kids or grabbing pizza from one of the many great spots nearby. The streets are also great for running with wide running lanes and challenging hills. We had such a great time spending most of July here.

John was a great host! Friendly and super responsive! The house was just as described and pristine condition.

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The house was immaculate, beautifully kept, and had everything we could possibly need. The kitchen was fully equipped, making it a joy to cook in—we felt right at home preparing amazing meals. Zaan, our host, was fantastic and always available, even though everything was so perfect we didn’t encounter any issues. Highly recommend this place for a seamless and delightful stay! We will come back there for sure!!!!!!!!!!!

Very nice place, it’s was a nice area but was freezing cold and snowing so we didn’t spend much time outdoors. We were there for a wedding.
