Great stay tucked in Alpine Lake. Very quiet with plenty to do within 30 minutes. I love staying in Alpine, this was my first time staying at this home and I have no complaints!

What an adventure. The Hobbit House proves that you do not have to travel far from home to have such a fun, relaxing, peaceful experience that Robert has created in his Lord of the Rings inspired dwelling. There is no need to leave once you get there. The kitchen had every amenity that was needed by my "chef" husband. The linens and towels are top tier, plenty of paper products, plastic storage bags/containers and even towels to wipe off firepit chairs and tables as well as any spills that might occur. But the best part is discovering all the surprises which I will not give away in this review. You must book a trip and find out for yourself!!

This cabin in nestled in the back woods but it was perfect for our family. our son loved the hot tub and the stream in the back yard. the cabin was extremely clean. its a great weekend getaway stay.

The cabin was really cozy, and the holiday lights were beautiful. It snowed a lot on my last night so I was grateful that the host drove some tracks with his truck, and told me I could take my time leaving because of the weather.

Book with extreme confidence this place is top notch stayed with 10 people and a dog and it was amazing I will definitely book in the future!!

Before anything . I want to thank the PM for helping us when we got lost ( completely our fault )! The Cabin was beautiful! The pictures did a great job capturing the area. But seeing it first hand is not to compare. The home was spacious and we had enough room. Our dogs enjoyed every moment of the out doors. Thank you million times for allow us to say in your Cabin. Hope to come again!

This property was the perfect spot for a multi-family getaway, due in large part to Carla's attention to detail and very genuine care for the quality of our stay. Everything in the home is organized and labeled, the game room and hot tub are a great time, and the deck with it's nice lake view, comfortable seating, and propane firepit, is perfect for relaxing. We loved that the home was pet friendly and offers three king beds and a double bunk room for the kids. Having access to the Alpine Lake pool and fun and easy hiking trails created hours and hours of fun while the stocked kitchen, packed board game closet, and large dining room table provided the opportunity for relaxing family meals and games together with a crackling fire in the background. The price is amazingly reasonable for all that this house has to offer and we are so grateful to Carla for her great communication and overall attentiveness to ensure we had the most perfect trip - which we most certainly did!

Our overall experience with the property was great, but the check-in process could have been more convenient. To access the house, we had to drive 25 minutes to the Vacasa office to pick up a key fob, which felt unnecessarily time-consuming. It would have been much better if the key fob had been available at the property or if there was an alternative way to access the house. That said, the house itself was fantastic. It was clean, the photos matched what we saw in person, and the hot tub was a wonderful touch. Overall, we had a great time and we definitely recommend it!

We had a wonderful, relaxing Easter weekend! We will be back!

Beautiful cabin in out of the way location surrounded by lovely yard and sweet neighborhood. Excellent hiking nearby for 3 days. The cabin was outstanding - every convenience was provided at a high standard. The hosts were immediately responsive when we had an issue, and provided helpful pre-trip advice. Thoroughly recommend for as a getaway from a busy life to unplug and have quality family time.

We had a wonderful time at the cottage with our kids and dogs. Loved the sunsets/hikes on the property/amenities! Will definitely book again!

We loved the cabin- it was very quiet and peaceful. The entire inside was extremely tidy and well stocked- the kitchen had everything we needed to make a thanksgiving dinner- the bathroom was updated and modern- the rental has great amenities (washer/dryer, dishwasher, access to indoor pool, wood stove, etc) and Ida was very helpful and responsive to all of your texts- if you are looking for a place to get away from the hustle and bustle for a few days this is it! So many thoughtful touches made us feel right at home and we really had a great time relaxing with our family over the holiday- would definitely stay here again

The house was excellent. Exactly as described, and exactly what we were looking for during our two week Christmas trip. We would definitely rent again.

it's a cute cozy cottage on the side of a cliff. Honestly I loved it! it was exactly what I was looking for and I can't wait to be able to take off more time and come back!

We just got back from another great anniversary trip with our 2 Vizslas. Bob shared his dry red wine this year. We now have had both sweet and dry! He came to check on us during to the cold spell and we assured him that the wood burner was keeping us warm. The dogs played outside, we played board games that were provided and we enjoyed cooking with the stove. It was our annual February get away that we take each year to Just have a few days to just enjoy nature and recharge. Thanks again Bob! See you next year.

Beautiful place! Went on a girls trip and it fit exactly what we needed, cozy, nice views and relaxing. Only things I feel the need to make people aware of are that the hot tub is off the side of the house and you have to walk over gravel to get to it so bring flip flops, and that there are a TON of bugs in the house, we had ladybugs and stink bugs all over, fine for us but if it’s not something you can handle then bring traps. Overall amazing trip!

Absolutely beautiful property. Very peaceful and relaxing. Location was still close to all of the tourist spots. Cabin was clean and well maintained. The hosts were also great and very friendly.

We had a great stay with our family. So much to do and such a great place to relax. We will definitely be back!

It was a great, eclectic cabin that was peaceful and private. We spent our early mornings drinking our tea and coffee on the porch watching the birds and listening to the waterfall. We spent our evenings having dinner, playing games, watching movies and listening to music. The sky lights are a nice touch and the clawed bath tub was very relaxing. There are a few State Parks from 15 minutes to one hour away that we went to. Also, there are a few small convenience stores with friendly people(Deerwood was my favorite and had pepperoni rolls). I would definitely recommend this place. 😀

We stayed in the Springhouse which is a beautiful home nestled in the woods for 2 weeks and it was incredible! Truly a home away from home. Comfortable, clean, and included all amenities you could hope for and need for a short or even extended stay. Colleen is an amazing host and we will definitely stay again if available when we are in town!
