My husband and I had rented the cabin for three nights. We pulled up and the place was amazing. We opened the door and fell in love. We had such a great first night. We were able to bring our 9 month old puppy, who for the first time ran into the water, ran around the woods and was loving life!! She had everything there you needed. Everything was great until around 10:30 PM and a major ice storm started. unfortunately, we had to leave the next morning ASAP but Katy was very understandable, helpful, and concerned about us being safe. It had been the worst ice storm that they had in the area in over 20 years. We were lucky we were able to get out of some of the roads because so many roads were covered with trees and live wire lines down. The place is absolutely lovely. The area is lovely. Can’t wait to go back and hopefully get a full stay in. I wouldn’t change a thing at this cabin. Tracie, Marc & George

Our stay at Dorene and John’s was perfect! We traveled the half hour to ski at Nub’s and enjoyed being in the private atmosphere of the cabin. The hot tub topped it all off! We didn’t want to leave!

We absolutely loved our stay here! The cabin was clean and had everything we needed. Utensils in the kitchen, board games to play as well as comfortable beds to sleep in. The hot tub was an absolute must, and it didn’t disappoint! Kimberly was quick to respond to any questions, and when the weather was too dangerous to travel in on our morning of check out, she allowed us to stay another night to make sure we could travel safe. Highly recommend! We will be returning!

Perfect spot for a romantic weekend - private, cozy, clean, and beautiful scenery. The cabin has everything you need, and the host is exceptionally accommodating and friendly. Just remember to BYO food and entertainment if you visit in the winter like we did, as most stores, attractions, restaurants, etc. close for the season. Thanks again, Jack!

Took my son and two friends for impromptu skiing over Spring Break, and Kyle's place was exactly what we needed. A bed for each person, two bathrooms, a decent kitchen (which turned out to be MUCH better than we expected), and a hot tub for sore muscles. The details: Kyle was responsive and gracious throughout; always there when needed. Good local information was provided, as well as water in the 'fridge, some snacks, and coffee. The kitchen was very workable, with everything I needed to make breakfasts and dinners each day. The "cabin" was immaculate and well supplied, with ample towels, comfortable beds, and cleaning supplies to keep things tidy (I'm a bit OCD on that). Were I to build an "escape place" up north to use and rent, Kyle's place would be a good template. We will definitely consider contacting Kyle again the next time we head up north - there's even a sister cabin if we had more people! I would definitely recommend this property with no reservations.

Great getaway! We were fortunate enough to wake up to a foot of fresh a now our first morning there. Made for a great time. The place is clean and quiet. We as a family made a lot of memories in the game room. Great place to stay!

This AirBnB brought us such peace during our visit to the area. It was nice and quiet. The house is super cute especially when the fireplace is on - we felt very comfortable. The fencing is nice if you have dogs as well. Fire pit was very relaxing! Easy check in/check out process. Thank you for the welcome goodies as well. We found out that Kirkland popcorn is now our favorite :)

We felt at home, the place was clean, comfortable and in a great location for snowmobiles. We rode right from here to the Tahquamenon falls. It was a beautiful ride.

My Husband and I absolutely loved the cabin. It was a great small spacious place for just the two of us. It was very clean while taking care of.. we actually added two more stays and she was very nice and responsive. Absolutely love the place and will be returning when we go back up there.

The setting is so idyllic and peaceful! The cabin is clean, well maintained and a fun place to hang out. We really enjoyed our stay and we hope to stay there again in the future.

Durea's place was amazing! First I have to acknowledge she was always SUPER helpful and responsive and she would always respond when emerging travel situations came up which was so nice. The place is also really really awesome. The cabin was more than we expected (totally felt in a glamping situation) and I would say its location is also really good because even though everything is "far" in the UP , the location is very centric to Pictured Rocks, Tahquamenon Falls , Kitchi iti kipi and other things so definitely a place to consider. Outside of that the cabin is really comfortable and they really go out of their way to make you feel at home. The bathrooms were always in super clean condition with running hot water and the cabin itself was super comfortable. Would highly recommend

We had a girl's trip with my friends and Jared's place was a perfect accommodation for us. Starting from the location, the house, furniture and the kitchen. The vibe was just right! We felt right at home. This beautiful place is close to Pictured Rocks and other attractions Michigan has to offer.

We absolutely loved our stay at the Peace Retreat. The location could not have been better, with Lake Michigan just a walk away, and the beautiful trails for easy walking behind the property. We loved the yard set up, with a campfire ready for us to enjoy, the hammocks, and little paths to enjoy the property. We loved all the extra blankets and quirky furnishings inside the home, and it was perfect for us to enjoy a mother daughter weekend.

Great cabin in a very peaceful location. Quick drive to the Lake and not too far from the bridge. Jessica was so quick to respond to questions and very friendly!

Perfect place for a 2 night “luxury glamping” getaway! Close to everything but private and peaceful. Dylan was very responsive. Would stay here again.

This was the PERFECT place for a simple, serene getaway. Had more amenities that expected for a "rustic" accommodation. Great location away from everything. Just what we needed and love. Can't say enough about how awesome and PERFECT the accommodations/property was- SO wonderful!

Check in was very easy, door unlocked and let yourself in. Place is exactly as in photos and fully equipped with everything you need. I noticed some people saying that there isn't a mention to how close it is to her house in the backyard, but it wasn't a bother for us. Still felt private with the curtains and minimal contact. She checked in with us every now and then to make sure we were satisfied which was nice as well. I'm not one for saunas, but my boyfriend was rather impressed! Being really close to Harbor Springs and only a short jaunt to Petoskey was really nice for planning my birthday dinner. Amazing sights and exploring tunnel of trees. All-in-all, a relaxing and peaceful experience getting to relax and watch some deer (forest puppies as we call them). The only thing I could suggest to help with privacy, is to make the curtains thicker, they felt a little thin. Maureen's place is wonderful and highly recommend if looking for a get-a-way to relax in the woodsy scenery

My husband and I loved this little cabin in the woods! Perfect for our relaxing getaway! We even imagined bringing our kids someday. We liked that it was secluded without being extremely far from good eating spots.

The Cozy Cabin was the perfect cozy cabin in the woods in the heart of Northern Michigan. Pam is thoughtful, generous, and a perfect host.

We had such a great time at the Deerfoot lodge. We originally rented the smaller of the two cabins, but there was a small issue that needed to be fixed in the smaller one, and no one was staying in the larger cabin, we got a surprise upgrade! 2 houses on the property makes for an amazing chance to get the whole family together for an adventure!! The kids loved the little built in playroom under the stairs and the foosball table! Great location for quick trips to Tahquamenon Falls, Whitefish Point, snowmobile trails, and other attractions in the U.P. Highly recommend stopping at The Buckhorn for delicious dinner!! 10/10 would definitely stay again!! Thanks to Julie for the perfect getaway spot!

Cabin in the Cedars was exceptional. Comfortable and cozy. We loved watching the freighters and a couple tugboats go by. It was perfect for my good friend and I to hang out and catch up. So quiet! We slept very well in the comfortable beds and we had everything we needed in the kitchen! We explored all of the island and the cabin was a great starting and ending point. We already are planning to return in the spring/summer

Had a great relaxing girls weekend. Would definitely come back in the future!
