Lele is an excellent hostess. The place matches the description perfectly. She has thoughtfully prepared a detailed instruction book with all the information we might need. Additionally, she provided us with plenty of helpful parking tips.

Apartment for 2 people well maintained, clean, with everything you need. The host has always been kind and available for any need since our arrival. Flexible check-in and check-out, Jose has always met our requests. The location of the house is not central to the city and unfortunately the area in which it is located is not kept at its best. Without the car it is necessary to rely on buses (feasible but not simple) or walk at least to the center (about a 25-minute walk). The wifi in the house is also great.

We stayed 4 nights in the flat and went on day trips to Syracusa, Taormina and Etna. First, the flat is confortable, with every bedrooms having shower and toilets. The living room/kitchen is big enough to have breakfast but not enough confortable if you plan to stay the all day inside. Secondly, but up to me, it is well decorated with upcycled stuff. Finally, the flat is well located. Lots of restaurants and bar near by. And few minutes walking from main touristic area. Stazione centrale might be a little bit far away.

Both Emy and Mary were very welcoming and responsive to things, as I was unfamiliar with a lot of things, they both patiently answered me and responded in a timely manner.There is everything in the house, so you don't need to bring your own bag.It is only five minutes from where I work, and it is only about 8 minutes to go to the supermarket, which is convenient.The house is beautiful, Sicilian, and it can be seen that Emy and Mary have thoughtfully decorated the house, making me live here every day like in a painting.It was really hard to leave.I'll stay here again when I get the chance!

We loved staying here. Alessandra and her mother were very helpful with getting set up, and even though it is next to a busy street, the high ivy covered walls make it feel like an oasis. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the grounds are incredible. The pool is great. it felt bigger than the pictures, and the deep end was good for teaching the kids how to dive. they even have a trampoline! Highly recommend for a peaceful escape.

The stay at La Casitta was wonderful. Alberto’s father came to welcome us and explain everything not only about the house but also about the village, it was lovely! The house was super clean and had everything we needed. Castelmola is a small town very close to Taormina but quiet and peaceful. We would 100% recommend La Casitta ❤️

The apartment has a fantastic secluded location (with the landlords) in the mountains. The view from the garden is beautiful. In 2-3 km you are on Monte Ogliastro or Monte Veneretta, from where you can overlook the whole region. Fantastic! The terrace is large and fully fenced. Then comes the parking lot and then the beautiful fenced garden. The cats were very nice and there were no problems with the dog. Unfortunately, the cats were all very very thin, at least 3 had heavy diarrhea. The turtles in the garden had very desolate little enclosures and the dog was often locked away on the balcony. Unfortunately, pets usually have a bad life in Sicily. That made the vacation sad.

Great location & felt right at home, it is situated in the beautiful and historic part of town, very walkable, and the host is very welcoming and friendly. One of the few places so far that i would recomend to my own family.

Beautiful villa at the base of Mt. Etna. Very large pool and garden. Nadia and her family are close by and very responsive / always willing to help. The location is great as it is close to the volcano and a 15 min drive to the beaches. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely go back!

Best place we have stayed in italy,and we have been going for several years. Marco was very attentive and helpful.. A real gem.

We stayed 2 weeks and it was a great base for exploring the east side of Sicily and Etna. A hire car is essential as the apartment is located in a quiet spot away from the main centres. The apartment itself was spacious and comfortable with great views from the wrap around balcony. The swimming pool was a real bonus - we made use of it most days. Salvatore & Antonio were very helpful and responsive to requests (many thanks!). Highly recommended if, like us, you are looking for a peaceful getaway.

We had a lovely stay for 3 days in October. Apartment is really nice and modern. We visited Etna 2 times. It is about 45 min by car to Etna South. We had a nice stay, many thanks

We loved the house of Jaco, it had an amazing view and is super quiet. We made an phenomenal BBQ outside on the grill. We will come back for sure. Felt like home.

Outstanding place, just out of the city so it was peaceful, but close enough to be in the centre within minutes (we hired a scooter). The compound itself felt incredibly secure and was beautiful to relax in. Girlfriend fell in love with the cats on the property which were very friendly but not constantly around us. The pool was a great way to wake up every morning but the real espresso machine was an authentic and lovely touch. It is right next to the main street to get into town, which had a fair amount of traffic but the property had a fantastic garden which concealed you away from it, so we honestly didn't really notice the noise. All in all, I would recommend this listing to anyone, and will certainly return if we find ourselves in that part of the island again. 10/10

We stayed for a week at 6 people on the upstairs part of the house. The apartment does not fully match the photos since a bedroom has been added to the living room … but the living room remains very spacious. There were no shutters ( and no opaque curtains in the living room) which is a shame when you sleep in the living room and the sun rises at 6 a.m. ... and especially to cut off the sun when it's very hot . The kitchen was not sufficiently equipped rather rustic Thankfully Sonia was responsive to our requests. The A/C was essential but not good enough to refresh the rooms. I would say that the apartment is worth it for the terrace and the view of Taormina and the tranquility if there are people on the ground floor ( this apartment must be more suitable for a long stay). The exteriors are really magical and very enjoyable during the heatwave they are also very well maintained .

We spent a 10 day vacation here as a group of friends. Already upon arrival we were overwhelmed by the beauty of property and surroundings: located in the beautiful lemon grove overlooking the slopes of Mount Etna and the sea. It couldn't get any better! Boredom never arose, the area offers a lot! However, a car is important. There was also always something to do on the property: beautiful pool, ping pong table, foosball, football or cooking in the great kitchen... and always fresh lemons. Maria Gulia and Angelo are super friendly and often helped us with tips and quick answers. The villa is an absolute recommendation!!

I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Ruben welcomed us with great enthusiasm, he was a thoughtful opsite. The space was clean and tidy. The location is great for visiting Etna from the south!

A good stop on our final few days in Sicily that placed us close to Etna, Catania and Taomarina (all of which we visited). Very friendly and communicative host who met us on arrival, showed us where to park, gave us vouchers for Etna, advice on local towns and a bottle of bubbles - all much appreciated! The apartment was very spacious, with a comfy sofa and large, fully equipped kitchen. Strong aircon in the living room, and we used the fans to channel cool air into the bedroom at night. The garden was pretty (though too hot for us to sit out during a rather warm spell on the island). There were supermarkets and eateries nearby (and you could drive to the beach, but we never made it). WiFi was a bit patchy, but there were storms going on so this may have been an island thing. All in all, this was a good spot!

Domenico's place was really amazing, so close to the top of the great Mount Etna with amazing views of the volcano just outside my room. A pretty short drive to a fantastic hike on the mountain. Peaceful and quiet, away from everything, above the clouds. Nice places to walk along the orchards. Wonderful food. It was a magical experience. Thank you so much!

The most important thing first: Ezio is a perfect host! He takes care of enormously well, has many tips, asks if everything is ok, reserves restaurants, etc. But also the house in the mountains is beautiful. The view of Mount Etna at breakfast is unbeatable! That's really amazing. In addition, you have a lot of space, in the house and in the garden. There is plenty of hot water and otherwise you can make yourself comfortable. It is a quaint house with lots of charm and the surrounding area is really great. So many possible hikes, great restaurants and lots of peace and quiet. For when you really want to get out of everyday life. Thank you for everything, Ezio!

Located in the immediate suburbs of Catania, the apartment is immersed in the greenery of a beautiful garden. First floor, spacious, bright, clean, well organized. Friendly, communicative and available owner. Thoughtful and spacious environments. Recommended.

A place of outstanding beauty, surrounded by lush orchards. Graziella and her husband are remarkable hosts: responsive, warm and very kind. Thanks to their valuable tips, we've discovered quality restaurants and fascinating sights to explore in the area. We immediately felt at home. Also, having arrived late at night, they had the delicacy to leave us breakfast for the next morning. An unforgettable stay.
