Waterfront vacation rentals in Montalegre

I loved the cottage; it was quaint, clean and private with lots of friendly cats who welcomed us. The only real issue I had was the bed was very hard. Maybe a mattress topper? Marie is outstanding as a hostess.

The stay went great, the apartment is super well placed , super clean , the owners are very welcoming and helpful , very quick , the only point I would have liked would be a washing machine otherwise everything else is equipped and in impeccable condition. Thank you

Cozy and well located place to experience Gerês. The apartment was very clean. Only thing we missed are a little more kitchen appliances.

We had a wonderful stay at this place! Communication with Carlos was very kind and smooth right from the beginning. The view was simply breathtaking we were able to spend many hours outside and enjoy the peace and nature. The house was exactly as described: clean, well equipped and in a great location .

Great for a family, we had a wonderful weekend. Nice to have 3 full bathrooms, never a wait even with many adults getting ready! Beautiful view of the river, bridges, landscape of the area. Super convenient with good restaurants and a supermarket in walking distance. Would love to stay here again on our next vacation to Gerês.

Had a great time :) the house is great and the view is awesome. Just be aware that the entrance to the houses can be tight especially with a bigger car.

To start the house was excellent, fantastic view, very clean house, fully equipped kitchen. The house exceeded my expectations. Margarida was fantastic, always answered my doubts, before we arrived had a list of places to visit and restaurants, the arrival explained everything at home. It was three fantastic days, we love to meet Margarida, very nice and very dear. No doubt I will contact her again when I return to Gerês.

Lovely place, serene location, friendly and responsive host. Go here if you want to be away from the rush. The area has fantastic walks, and if it is rainy the house is comfortable and cozy for a day of hammock, wood fire and games. The terrace and pool are even nicer than they seem on the photos and must be amazing in summer. Great kitchen too, with an oven and all!

I booked the stay for my brother and my sister-in-law who were from Honeymoon. They loved the stay, it was exactly as described by the host and still left a treat in the room for the newly married :)) it was a great experience!!
