I thought the area was really cute. The house had a lot of fun sitting outside by the river and fishing. Angie responded back to me quickly if I messaged her at any point. It’s very off-road which I liked also. We love exploring new areas we’ve never been to. This spot was very cute!

Mary is an outstanding host! Our tiny home was just as described and pictured, and it was extremely clean. We had all that we needed for a comfortable stay - wonderful mattress and pillows, soft and warm blankets, and so much more. We brought our dog and Mary even had treats for him! The outside area is perfect for pets and humans alike with LOTS of space to walk and play. There is a fenced area for dogs to play and Mary has provided lots of dog toys and a doggie "teeter-totter." I wish we had been there in warmer weather to enjoy the screened gazebo and outdoor sitting areas more. The surroundings are so quiet and peaceful. Mary was very helpful and was super-responsive. We couldn't have asked for a better host. I had the chance to meet her and she is the sweetest lady ever. If you are travelling to Monroeville with a pet (or without!) and want a quiet spot to relax, this is it. Thank you, Mary - you are a jewel!

The fish camp on Maiben Lake road was a great place to stay for the holidays. Candy was very responsive as a host - answering questions within minutes. During our stay, there was severe weather and Candy reached out to check that we were ok. Cabin was clean, well laid out and peaceful. Would stay there again if there was the need. Highly suggest if you want a place to get away from it all.

Absolutely one of the cleanest air bnb I've ever booked! Kelly makes sure this place is tip top! Even leaves a welcome letter on the counter! Great host great house great privacy great nights rest! Absolutely AMAZING back porch with a brand new propane grill! My co workers and I love staying here and look forward to working in Monroeville Al because we know we have a very clean very private and very comfortable home to stay in when we are here working! Absolutely positively smells sooo good here! My fiancee asked where I'd been when I got home. house smells so good it stuck to my luggage and came home with me. Don't hesitate to book this home. It is PERFECT!

The house didn't have anything beyond the bare minimum of necessary items like linens, towels, a coffee maker, and cups. The host let us know there was not a stove before allowing us to book, which we appreciated. The yard was big enough for my son and our dog to run around in and enjoy being outside. If you're not looking for anything beyond a place to eat, shower, and sleep, then this rental will be fine. The TV is big and the wifi worked really well, so that was nice. Overall we had a comfortable stay.

We enjoyed our stay at Southern Oak. Wesley was a great host. He made sure we had everything we needed. The grandchildren loved feeding and watching the longhorns. The house and grounds were like stepping back in time. It was definitely a Christmas experience to remember. The grandchildren are already asking to do it again next year. Thank you, Wesley!

Staying at the tiny home was amazing!! Mrs Mary is an amazing host and an exceptional human being, very attentive, kind, and leaves everything you need out for you. The tiny home was in pristine condition and the property was beautiful!!!! Lots of open space quiet and private!!!! Such a beautiful home with lots of space! The pictures don’t do it justice. Decorations were very elegant and elevated. It seems like the place may have been a commercial space before it was renovated. So it’s close to everything Monroeville has to offer. It was a blessing they offer one night rentals since we were only in town for a funeral. Would definitely stay here again and recommend this place.
