Beach house vacation rentals in Mondello

we liked it very much at roberto's. He is super friendly even picked us up in piraineto and took us to the airport at the end of our stay. He also provided us with 2 bicycles. The apartment is large and also ideally suited for a long-term stay. The sea is very close to the beach super nice and clean. sandy beach ! villagrazia a small village is also easily accessible by bike. there is everything there.... fishmongers , bakeries , metzger , bar , pharmacy , ect ... a supermarket that has quite a lot of organic products and very great the naturalbiologico that is very close. roberto's mother, a very warm friendly woman who lives next door, even supported me in learning Italian. we highly recommend this accommodation.

We are a family of 4 with 2 teenagers. We all absolutely loved Valeria’s home from the beginning. She is so warm and welcoming. Not overbearing and very helpful. We felt like we were staying with a caring family member. The home is expansive and has a terrific worldliness to it. From the balcony you can watch the world go by and then so easily engage with it. The most beautiful beach across the road. A fantastic gastronomical super deli within a 4 minute walk and a number of good quality restaurants nearby. The people of Mondello are wonderful and I would highly recommend this abode as a base for exploring Palermo and surrounds. We alternated between beach days and exploring days which suited the family perfectly. Do not hesitate to stay here. Thanks so much Valeria and Papa.

The apartment is very nice, especially the very large and nicely furnished roof terrace. The view was great and we enjoyed the sea view every morning at breakfast. The sea is only about 100 meters away, but a car is recommended to explore the area. Angela is a very friendly host and responds to messages after a few minutes. Overall, we had a great stay!

We felt very comfortable from the first second. We were greeted personally in a very friendly manner. Our car could be parked on the house property. We particularly liked the apartment or suite. On a roof terrace above we were able to linger very nicely and comfortably. If we come to Palermo again, we will be happy to ask you again. Thank you for everything.

The apartment perfectly matched the description: very clean and equipped with all the amenities indicated. The location is ideal, just steps to the beach and surrounded by numerous restaurants and bars. In addition, the public transport stop is located right on the same street as the apartment, making getting around Palermo very easy. We felt comfortable at home. My boyfriend and I had a super vacation at this home! Cozy place and the small terrace were lovely and with beautiful views of the mountain and sea. There was a bit of loud music by the pool during the day which was a bit disturbing, but the beach is close and was lovely as a change. Ernesto is super sweet and helpful and picked us up and took us to and from the airport. In addition, he made recommendations for great experiences in Palermo city center - it's easy to get in there by bus from Mondello and we especially enjoyed it at night when the weather was “cool enough” to experience things; -) We were overall very satisfied! Highly recommended 🤗

we really enjoyed our 9 day stay at Don Ciccio Seahouse. We were a family group of 10 ranging in age from 23 to 86 years old. There are plenty of different areas and rooms both indoors and outdoors for everyone to have their own space as well as be all together for meals for example. The garden is very pleasant and the pool area beautifully maintained as well as spacious, with great views. We had 2 hire cars and it would be difficult without. I'd definitely recommend a car to go to the shops, restaurants, station etc... Going into Palermo was easy using the train, the station is 5min drive away and has a free carpark. Mattro was a really great host, very responsive and really helpful with everything. He gave us a great introduction to an amazing local bakery/deli which we visited every day! Definitely recommend the house 😀

It was a very nice stay and Emilia was very kind and responded quickly.

Super kind and nice people. We arrived with public transportation, and they were so kind to pick us up at the train station, and leave us there again on the day of departure. The pool area was super. We only shared it with one other apartment, so plenty of room for all. We are a family of 5, kids aged 7, 11 and 13, and with a nice fishing village, lots of restaurants and beaches within 30 minutes walk, it was an ideal stay for us.

This is a fantastic villa, located in an excellent position for exploring the North West and Palermo. The town of Balestrate has good shops and restaurants and a couple of nice beaches...but is just out of reach of walking (the villa is on a fairly hilly lane with no pavement) and so a car is needed. It's a 'real' town rather than a heavily touristed place, which we loved - the restaurant were busy with locals and very good value as a result. The hosts were super-responsive and sent lots of recommendations and useful info, and were particularly helpful when our car broke down! There is so much to see in this part of Sicily and it's only 30 mins drive from Palermo Airport.

Very nice house with a great host

Erasmo's apartment is very modern and completely newly renovated and furnished. It has beautiful furniture: comfortable sofa and beds, large dining table, chests of drawers, etc. The kitchen is relatively small but also very nice and very usable with a dishwasher, oven and large fridge! There are 3 balconies, great for drying laundry, but almost too small for eating. For a morning coffee with great sea and mountain views but very nice. We felt very comfortable, also because Erasmo was very nice in communication!

The best option to enjoy Sicily. Apartment was clean, cosy, with good air conditioner, big bathroom, soft bed and kitchen with everything we need. There is small, but beautiful beach nearby, bakery, pizzeria, two places with ice cream. The place is safe and calm, and nothing can disturb you (maybe except dogs, but they are on private territory, so it's OK). It is better to rent a car to see other places here, because Uber is quite expensive, and it is the only problem. During our vacation Salvatore told us a lot about the region, helped to chose places to visit and gave a tip about local cuisine, which is really great. The host was ready to help in any time and we are thankful for such an attitude.

We spent 2 fantastic days in Federica's paradise. The house is very spacious and tastefully decorated (the reality actually exceeds the photos). It has all the amenities and the heating works perfectly; which is really a plus in Italy in winter. The garden with views is well appointed and the private access to the sea was the cherry on the cake of our stay. A presto Federica!

We had a lovely stay at Marilena e Francesco's and recommend it with our eyes closed. They were very discreet while remaining available if we needed it and flexible on our arrival and departure time. The apartment is very well equipped, you will find everything you need. Walking distance to the beach in 10-15min. We did not know exactly where we were arriving, but we were very pleasantly surprised by Mondello who is close to Palermo and much quieter. Note that there are a few dogs in the neighborhood. We recommend it!

Beautiful and modern accommodation, as can be seen in the pictures. Good beds and fine bathrooms and sparkling clean. Very welcome and welcoming reception. Private car park for rental car. As the only downside: the busy road at the front of the house, for the rest a very quiet neighborhood. The beach is a 3-minute walk away, and if you walk down the boulevard you have a good supermarket 5 minutes away. Apart from that, plenty of restaurants with plenty of choice, also in February. Great base for trips in the neighborhood or to Palermo. Downtown Palermo can be reached in 20 minutes by car.

Nice and spacious place. Had to wait for the the automatic locks on bedrooms to get in but once we overcame that it was fine. Could do with some more kitchen amenities, drinking glasses etc, but overall all good. Thank you

This was the perfect place for us, as a family with a small child, to stay. The apartment is spacious, has a small garden area and is equipped with everything it needs. Also a kids chair was provided for free. The double bed was the only thing that disturbed us a bit, since it was not very comfortable. The communication with Mariano was great, very friendly and super helpful. The street in front of the house is very busy and the sidewalk quite hard to manage to the beach with a kids stroller, but we did it and after a few times we knew the best route by heart :) All in all just a really really good experience!
