Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Milford on Sea

When we first stumbled upon this Cottage on AirBnB, it seemed almost too good to be true. There must be a catch! But everything was as perfect as it seemed online. Mandy is the most thoughtful, gracious host. She provided us with all the information we needed and showed us around. The Cottage is just perfect! Location is incredible and it is our new go to long weekend break in the New Forest. Mandy had excellent restaurant and walk recommendations and was of great help. She went way beyond to make our long-weekend comfortable and memorable. Thanks Mandy for a wonderful weekend! We will be back, Russ & Michelle

Lovely place with great amenities. Ideal for family gatherings and our 2 dogs especially were very happy with the outside space. It is easy to drive into Poole which has a good shopping area and lovely quayside. There were lots of good walking areas nearby and a choice of local park runs! There was a good space for the dogs to sleep off the utility room. And a well equipped games room in a former garage though this was rather cold at this time of year. I dare say some form of heating would be provided if requested. But we spent most time outside enjoying the garden space.

Lovely big house, slept 8 adults easily. Great views, fab location to walk the South Downs. Everything you needed. Maybe less clutter/ family photos around the house would have been nicer but some liked the homely touch. Overall excellent. Many thanks, Louise

I can't thank Carolyn enough, after finding out I was surprising my 12 year old son to a birthday getaway birthdays banners and signs plus sweets etc all put out for when we arrived! above and beyond for us. Carolyn was very responsive, informative and so kind. wonderful localaton, amenities etc. caravan was like home to home, well equipped and very clean. thank you again! highly recommend! 5🌟😁

Great place to stay , in walking distance of cowes. Lovely clean house plenty of space for four adults and one small dog. Nice enclosed secure garden . Parking permit was easy to confirm at no cost . Would definitely stay here again

Really lovely cottage, very spacious, clean, comfy beds, nice garden and kitchen was very well stocked. Corfe Castle is a pretty village with lots of walks and easy access to Corfe Common. We were blessed with super weather, really enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely time here - the weather was great for the time of year and we were really close to the beach and did some great walks from the house. It was so convenient to have the shop just a short walk away on the corner and the pub within walking distance. The house was just what we wanted and the garden was so well kept and tidy as well as the house itself. Thanks very much. We'd definitely recommend it.

Excellent all round. Very clean and comfortable. Well laid out rooms. Kitchen well equipped. Especially good shower room with plenty of space. The road is very quiet at night. Walking distance to local shops, and to the very pleasant park-like areas around the river by Tuckton Bridge. Kind greeting from hosts, who provided an extra chair, and adjusted the heating for me. I would stay again !

We had a comfortable stay with our 5 month old. Spacious bathroom and clean throughout. Good instructions for check in and friendly communication. It is a top floor apartment and the stairs are quite shallow, so perhaps not suited to anybody not steady on their feet. Little bit of street noise but this was to be expected in such a fantastically central location on the main high street.

We had an absolutely amazing stay at Keely's. The apartment is just beautiful, with an amazing view to the sea. Keely and Julie were great hosts, very accommodating and understanding. Everything was very clean. Location was great for strolling along the beach and accessing downtown Ryde.

Wonderfully located, this property offers great sized rooms and fully stocked kitchen. I would recommend this property to anyone looking to visit Bournemouth.

We will definitely stay here again. From Richard's first welcoming message to the final friendly farewell, we felt thoroughly and generously cared for. Every conceivable mod con is available including for example a Nespresso machine with pods on the house and the decor is stylish. The kitchen is plentifully equipped but we didn't use it much because there are so many excellent restaurants in the area. There's a Coop store about 5 minutes walk away and an excellent cafe less than 10 minutes away by the sea on South Bourne Promenade. There are televisions in the bedrooms, the outdoor area is nicely arranged, catches the sun and is peaceful, and car parking is private and straightforward. My wife and I can't wait for our next visit and for a longer stay.

We had a fabulous stay at Jonathan's apartment. Met up with our son and partner for a few days break, and the apartment suited us perfectly. It's cool and stylish interior was also very comfortable. Its well-equipped and for us, it was the perfect location.

Each summer a U.K. FAMILY holiday is planned for three generations ..ages 5 up to well quite a lot! The choice this year was to go to Simons place.and what a find for everyone. A characterful house. Inside spacious spotless , kitchen brilliant ,, bedrooms roomy , bathroom ( particularly first floor) fabulous, living room so homely with Simons personal collection of books, his piano, homeliness beyond, and with cable Tv Incorporating Sports channels , and Netflix and Prime Video . Outside the decking in the rear garden a wonderful morning sun trap , the front garden full of charm with BBQ facilities and two squirrels nicknamed Bill and Bob..there every morning … The location very peaceful , parking at front and rear of property . Local shops , and the beach within easy 5-10 minutes walk and buses same time away into Bournemouth Poole and Christchurch . A wonderful seven days

We had a great stay, even in January, and the house was perfect for us (6 adults, a 4-year old, 2 dogs) The house was warm and spacious with lots of kids toys and extremely well equipped. The hot tub in the garden is a lovely addition, despite high winds meaning we couldn’t always use it! It’s well located near Cowes and its amenities, amidst other houses but on a quiet road, with great views because it’s on a hill and very near the sea, though not a beach as such. We would certainly return if we can.

The folly is a beautiful and magical place with great character. We spent a couple nights there over New Year’s Eve and it was perfect. Check in was flexible and very easy. The location is very peaceful and the garden and surroundings beautiful. Great pub with excellent food a few minutes drive down the road. We hope to be back in the summer.

Catharine's place is lovely. An incredible view, lovely social space, and everything you could need. Catharine was very responsive and we felt very looked after. We'll be back.

Lovely family home in the heart of the new forest. Was perfect for a pre Christmas getaway with lovely fireplace and warm Arga in the kitchen. Ian and team were very accommodating and it was lovely to have our two cocker spaniels with us to enjoy long daily walks in the forest. Will definitely be back again

James is a lovely person and his home is really magical and he gave us total privacy but was ready to help or advise on anything, it was a lovely experience and definitely going back the house is fantastic really special and huge I have never slept in such a huge house even the bathroom was lovely the house is really authentic and fabulous wild garden I loved the windows beautiful location really quiet

Enjoyed a memorable stay in Goretti’s peaceful and spacious home. The house is fully equipped and was extremely clean. We particularly enjoyed the beautiful garden and conservatory. Communication was seamless. Would definitely recommend this beautiful home. It was lovely to be greeted by the host with a bottle of Prosecco in the fridge.
