Vacation rentals with a sauna in McGaheysville

We had a very nice stay at Massanutten. Check in and check out procedures were simple and easy to follow. We loved seeing the wildlife.

I didn’t actually check into this condo. I’m leaving a review because Airbnb and Massanutten worked together well to assist me with my cancelation. Situations like that can get sticky, but they did a great job and I felt like Massanutten deserved the 5 star review.

Peaceful and quiet.

We had a wonderful stay at this cozy cabin! The room was clean, well-stocked, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The hosts were friendly and responsive. We especially loved the jacuzzi—it was the perfect way to unwind after a day of exploring. Another unexpected highlight was the friendly cats in the community, which made our stay even more special since we’re cat lovers! The only minor downside was the shield bugs in the room, but that’s to be expected in a wooded setting. Overall, everything else was perfect, and we’d happily stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay! Cleanliness is important and this place was very clean! We utilized the kitchen a lot because the food was terrible on the resort, it didn’t matter because we had everything there to cook. Great Stay!

Great unit! We had the downstairs two bedroom luxury suite. Loved that it was ski in and ski out! Wish our jacuzzi had worked and that we had a coat rack but that’s it! Ask for those to be checked before you arrive and ask for ice. Awesome stay and amazing experience!

We truly enjoyed our stay at Woodstone at Massanutten and appreciate Greg offering his timeshare credits at this resort as an Airbnb. Note: this is not Greg's personal home/condo and the actual condo number is assigned by the resort when you check in at the resort lobby (with a very long line but friendly staff). The condo was exactly as Greg described (although you could tell the unit hadn't been used in some time) but it was comfy and cozy - just what we wanted - and we were fortunate to have a gorgeous view. Greg was very responsive from before we booked when I had questions about the property; he responded immediately when we had an 'emergency' on site and he resolved it quickly with Woodstone; and he even sent a local event suggestion the day before we checked out. I would definitely book with Greg again as I know he would make sure that whether it's his actual home or a timeshare he has credits for, he will ensure we are taken care of so we enjoy our stay. Thank you, Greg!

We had a large group at the compound by the swinging bridge for New Years and it was absolutely ideal! We played games by the fire place, cooked delicious meals, relaxed in the sauna and hot tub, danced and watched movies in the game room, laughed around the fire pits, played frisbee in the lawn, and watched an incredible double rainbow over the river after a thunderstorm. The beds were very comfortable and the vibe was cozy and lived in. Taki was great to communicate with and we’re very thankful to him and his family for creating such a sanctuary. We definitely hope to return!

We had a great stay! The house is beautiful and has gorgeous mountain views with huge windows to take it all in. The beds are comfortable, and there are plenty of pillows, blankets, towels, etc. Everything is just as advertised. We enjoyed the hot tub and sauna, but it was unfortunately too windy to use the fire pit, which we had been super excited for. We are already talking about planning another trip to stay here!

Wonderful place that could accommodate our large group, including seven children 4 years old and under. The baby gates on the stairs were a particularly nice touch.

This place was great. The house was very clean upon arrival and our view was amazing. Ashley was an awesome host as well. She was very responsive and made our stay very comfortable. We had everything we needed. I’d highly recommend a stay here.

Had a great stay and all guests slept wonderfully in all beds, house was very clean! We put our babies pack and play in one of the bedrooms because we didn't need that room for anyone else. But for future guests, the walk-in closet in the Master bedroom is large enough to fit a pack and play too. We came to ski, was only a short drive to the slopes. Enjoyed the spacious hot tub afterwards and sitting in the living room with the fire was very cozy. Cooked all our meals here easily and played many games at the dining room table. Shaun and family have poured much into their two homes (we've stayed at both!) and are very concerned with maintaining a high level of expectation and great experience for each set of guests that stay. He was very receptive of the few points we thought were worth mentioning following our stay. Marks of a great Host! Thanks again for the relaxing getaway for our family. We made awesome memories!

Our stay was fantastic! Erika's place was clean, fresh, and comfortably fit our whole group. The house had plenty to do for everyone and was exceptionally well stocked. We loved the fire pit, hot tub, and movie theater in particular. This was our group's 6th year doing this trip and this house is certainly one of our favorites! The only item of note would be to be prepared that the house is very close to the neighbors, so if you are night owls you will just want to be aware of your noise level.
