The courtyard is a lovely place to enjoy breakfast, lovingly prepared and often sharing in conversation with guests, Elena and Juan. The location is the best, right near the Cathedral, Central Park and a multitude of great restaurants, a pharmacy and a corner store. I booked this place for my mom, and Rebecca helped so much! The communication was beautiful and my mom loved everything about it! she said it was a beautiful stay, she was welcomed in a lovely way and Rebecca took care of her. she mentioned that the bed was comfortable. she said, "The difference between the neighborhood to Rebecca's place was incredible, the moment I walked in, I felt like I was in heaven ". thank you for everything!

Unbelievable stay - what a gem of a place. The food is amazing, the location is unreal, for chilled vibes and a relaxing stay it is 11/10! We got a great massage arranged on site, had all our clothes washed and deliverable back same day, the drinks and service was fantastic. A perfect 2 nights / 3 day stop for us. Thank you!

All very nice, enjoyed the quiet space and gardens which are close but not too close to the centre of Granada.

Great little place right by town square

Very happy we got to have this experience. I’ve really wanted to stay in a colonial house and this has been a great choice. Juan was very attentive and made sure we had a great stay in our short Granada pass by on our honeymoon. Really nice breakfast 🥞 pancakes were delicious and Juan made de sure to have fresh juice the next morning for me as he took note I can’t take in artificial sugars. He made l really good recommendations about the places to visit insist and places to eat at. As it’s located very conveniently, maybe bring some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper like me and don’t be shy to ask for the water heater to be turned on in case you like your water hot. As it can get too hot they have the best interest off the guests in mind and turn it off in order to avoid burns. Senora Elena, Juan’s mother, lives there and she’s lovely. Thank you for the hospitality.

This was a great stay! The location/view is absolutely breathtaking! It was awesome being able to share fresh breakfast at the Rancho with the other guests-both because the food was delicious (again the view of the lake over coffee 😊) and getting to mingle with others. The only thing missing was the hot water but honestly with the Nicaragua heat, I didn't really miss it in hindsight. Keep in mind you are in nature so you may come across a creature or 2, but the staff was helpful there (and I hope enjoyed a laugh on my behalf. Spiders are not my friend 😂). The dogs were definitely the icing on the cake! They are gentle giants and came to greet me most mornings. Add to that, being able to take a kayak out at my leisure or just taking a dip in the lake to cool off. So many reasons to love this place!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Colibri. The room was clean, comfortable and had everything we needed. So nice to have air conditioning with the hot temperatures outside!! The staff were also very helpful, professional and friendly. Anything we needed they accommodated for us. There were restaurants, a large mall and a grocery store all within a 5-10 minute walk of the hotel. The breakfast was fine, but I would not say it was a true Nica breakfast except for the gallo pinto. Still I would recommend this hotel to anyone and it very fairly priced. Thank you again for the nice stay!

Beautiful place to stay and relax for a few days. The lake is stunning and you can take kayaks out at no extra cost. We enjoyed having breakfast with other guests and playing with the very friendly dogs that are around! Donaldo was very helpful and was always there to help with any questions. Only thing to watch out for with staying on the lake is that restaurants can close quite early in the evening (especially on Sunday), so make sure you don't accidently end up without dinner!

What an amazing family that hosted us. They talked to us, gave us so much useful information and we became friends. The house is clean and in a very safe area. You can really get a feel of the local life and authenticity of the country. The dog was adorable and this was one of the most approachable friendly hosts I’ve ever had.

Much more beautiful than expected.. wonderful athmosphere in an incredible house with lovely people working there, beautiful rooms and bathrooms with flowers! We will definitely come back to this perfect place! Thank you very much!!

It was overall a really great stay! the staff is super friendly and helpful and the hostel gave us great deals for tours. We had a really relaxing time thanks to the small oasis they created in the middle of the city. the location is smack dab in the middle of granada. the only things were, that you dont have lockers for your valuables (although we were there for 6 nights and nothing happened) and there is a club across from the street that you can hear through earplugs. Apart from that it was a great stay and felt very homey. Thank you

i really love this place. it my 4 time in Martinas House. its en authentic, silence place in Nature. You can be in short time in the City. Martina helps a lot, show me the market and other beautiful places. i will come back :)
