Fantastic house,with all the amenities that was not missing anything , perfect place,everything in condition of 10,the hosts super nice and friendly, flexible in and out. Loved everything!! Simply put, we spent a few days in the paradise. The accommodation is an ideal place in the middle of nature to disconnect, but very close to the City. Totally recommended. Gregorio a super host.

We were a family of three generations with 4 children, 8 and under. We all had a wonderful, relaxing time. The large, spectacular pool was ideal for adults and children and the small shallow area allowed the youngest children to play safely. The veranda provided welcome shade for breakfast and lunch and a magical setting to dine, overlooking the illuminated pool and garden on balmy evenings. The house was spacious and well equipped, including a large barbecue in the garden, and the air-conditioning was effective. Ana was welcoming and responded quickly to any requests. Temperatures reached the high 30s most days, but we avoided the mid afternoon heat and took full advantage of the warm evenings. Castro del Rio is very different from the coastal tourist hotspots but has several restaurants, a couple of supermarkets and a picturesque centre around the castle. Cordoba and large supermarkets are a short drive away. We would love to return!

A charming house, spacious facilities, and a large swimming pool for spending a few days relaxing as a family. We have had a great time and hope to do it again.

Pedro was very kind. The house is great, with a lot of detail and very well equipped. It is very close to the village but with total intimacy. Being a bit high you can see some very nice sunsets.

incredible accommodation, very quiet, very nice neighbors, a beautiful castle, the wonderful residential area, the great house and the unparalleled views!! absolutely with all the amenities, everything you need in the kitchen and even more! the communication was incredible, it was always pending and the indications were also very accurate. If you are looking for a private, traditional, country cottage with all the facilities (BBQ, pool, hot tub, games, kids playroom) on the ground to disconnect yourself from the outside world and spend time in the mountains with beautiful views, this place is for you. It has been designed with passion and guests with kids in mind. With its own playroom and lots of games. Eleuterio was a fantastic host and was very friendly and responsive to anything we asked her to. Highly recommended. In terms of location, we found it a bit challenging to find enough things to do outside of the house in a proximate distance as it’s far from the coastline and main cities. Also, the house had very little natural lighting, which I believe is very common for Spanish traditional houses as it gets really hot during summer and it is great to hide away from the heat. However, we stayed there in October and it felt a bit cold and dark inside, but the fireplace kept us warm in the evenings.

We loved our stay at Carmen’s place. It was very peaceful, but with easy access to the natural park where we made several trips to spot lynx. The villa had everything we needed. We cooked for ourself the whole time, and spent a lot of time sitting around the beautiful pool area. We loved Carmen’s 3 dogs too :) We hope to come back one day soon.

the only downside was feeling guilty using so much water waiting for the shower to heat up

We were a finde with friends, in total 9. There was enough space to be well in the living room with the fireplace, dining and playing board games. Good atmosphere to enjoy with friends. The spacious rooms and with the two bathrooms enough for the 9. It has a very large patio where you can, in our case, have a drink at noon. In summer it is probably given more use. It had everything I needed to cook. It is located in a good area as it is quiet and the area to visit monuments is not far away on foot. Supermarkets nearby to not go loaded from home with food. Recommended to spend a few days with good friends.

Perfect weekend. Accommodation with every detail, very clean and comfortable. Elisabeth is a sweetheart, close and professional. Spectacular views. We felt right at home… 100% recommendation.

We had a great weekend with family. The huge and very well equipped kitchen, the beds are very comfortable. We miss a toilet on the ground floor so you don't have to go up to the upstairs bathroom for everything. Everything is great in general

Villa Solana has been perfect for spending a few quiet days with the family. The house is spacious and has everything you need to enjoy the facilities: the pool is great and much larger than we expected, the two very quiet garden spaces and the ideal porch for meals/dinners and BBQ days (great the whole bbq facility they have😊). Although Ana Maria and Antonio live on the upper floor, we have enjoyed total privacy. In addition, they have always been attentive and willing to assist us if we need it, hosts of 10. We hope to be able to do this again.

This place was perfect!! Quiet, beautiful scenery, clean, well-equipped, a wonderful host! It was exactly what our group needed and we would definitely come again! Thanks for sharing your home with us!

extraordinary destination to visit Jaen!! house very suitable for 8 people, we have really enjoyed the house and its wonderful outdoor areas, Carmen is a charm!!

The stay at Gloria's house was magnificent. It's the second year we stayed there. Everything is clean and tidy and the house is very complete. The environment is very nice. Gloria and her daughter have been very kind and have been attentive to all our needs. I'm sure we'll repeat it.

the pool was much smaller than in the pictures and the scrubber or they did not put it on or it did not work. the doors of the whole house did not close well.Muchisimas was was made impossible to eat or stay for a long time on the terrace.The pans and pans with remains,a little dirty. the tap water is not drinkable. the wifi did not work well, it was disconnected and could not be used. the air conditioning was only in the living room,then there were two ceiling fans in two rooms,but that did nothing,the heat was unbearable. the treatment was very nice. the cheese oil and some typical bollos of the village.

A big thank you to Teresa for hosting, kindness and all the advice given! The house is superb , the view breathtaking. A harbor of peace amidst olive trees , suitable for families .

The house is just as it is described and in the photos. The outside is wonderful to go with children and play at their leisure. We had some inconvenience but David was attentive and kind. They were responding to the moment. We had trouble getting there because the direct link was taking us to another area of town, but David was quick and sent us new coordinates. We found what we expected: a few days in the family of calm and games. I recommend it, it doesn't disappoint.
