Literal paradise!! I stayed for the whole summer and couldn’t be more charmed and grateful. Happily situated between Brattleboro and Manchester, there’s no shortage of adventures to have. The house is sunny, cheery, well equipped and spacious. The yard is its own gift: lupine, lilies, wild roses, blueberries, raspberries, peach trees, huge fields and a surrounding forest. Luna moths, lightning bugs, mushrooms galore and a big deck to take it all in from. Just unreal!! My dogs and I were spoiled rotten at The Magic Cottage. Plus, Melanie is an excellent communicator. This is truly an unforgettable home away from home. Thank you, thank you, thank you!!!

Worked very well for a Ski trip with 6 people

Definitely has a little bit of a creepy vibe when we first arrived, getting there at night and being in the middle of nowhere probably contributed to this. This was an amazing find though, super cozy and spacious. perfect location for the ski resorts nearby and great amenities. the fireplace was a great touch and used it every night!

I genuinely don't know what to say other than the fact that this may be one of the greatest places I've had the honor to lodge at. I did a lot of vetting across New England to find a wonderful place that could sleep a decent amount of people, provide a scenic and comfortable escape, and keep us entertained. Sarah's wonderful Stone and Sky Lodge exceeded every expectation I just listed. It's cozy, warm, and feels like a hidden nook! The scenery and nature couldn't be more beautiful. I never got the pleasure to meet Sarah, though I wish I did. Over messages and from what my friends told me, I just know that Sarah is the most hospitable and kind host that I've talked with in a while, and I hope that next time I can thank her personally. From my friends and I, we thank you for sharing your home with us. If you think that the excellent reviews are too good to be true, don't. This IS the truth, and I can't wait to have another reason to come back to this wonderful treasure of a place.

Anna’s place was spacious and beautifully furnished. It’s very private and on higher ground so you can see the mountains all around out the windows. Robert came to shovel snow twice and Anna was very accommodating to all our needs. We had a wonderful stay.

Stayed here over Christmas and it was so tranquil. Wood stove kept the house cozy as ever and the kitchen was perfect for cooking. Great place for a family to enjoy.

Great stay with very responsive and accommodating hosts!

My friends and I stayed here on a weekend ski trip to Berkshire East- it was exactly what we wanted. Perfect cozy little home. The hosts were amazing and personalized our experience! Location is fantastic we went to the mountain and 2 breweries and had a great dinner in nearby Deerfield. Wonderful experience we’ll be back!

Ed shares this beautiful home in the welcoming way an old friend would. With excellent communication, recommendations, and always willing to help make our stay more comfortable. Ed was easy to talk to and very easy to get in touch with. The property is beautiful and the home is fun, with many amenities. Everything you need and more to cook is in the large kitchen. I would highly recommend ed’s home for a space to reunite or share with friends or family.

The place was beautiful, clean, lots of space for the kids. The kitchen is fully equipped and the bathrooms were spotless. So close to Mt Snow!! The shuttle is right at the front door. We will definitely be back!

We had a great time with our family for a quick weekend get away. The house was great and the hosts were very responsive. It snowed while we were there and the plow person was right there to make sure we were all safe and able to get out of the driveway when we departed. We had an infant with us so didn't do too much outside...it was very cold. We found the North Star pizza and bowling alley which was great....old school candlepin bowling alley. We had to remind ourselves how to manually add up the score..haha. And the Twice Blessed Thrift Shop kept us busy. Breakfast at the Cup N Saucer was delicious and the seating makes you feel like you are joining the family for a family meal.

We had a great stay in Keene. Ruth is a fantastic hostess. Her house is just close enough to Main Street to keep it a walkable distance to multiple restaurants and shopping. The house is a nice cozy spot that was big to accommodate my whole family meeting up for a fun winter weekend in Keene. I would stay there again without hesitation

The stay rustic woods and fields retreat was a beautiful, and cozy. The directs were clear and concise making it easy to get to. The provider was very responsive, and the house was very nicely stoked with kitchen supplies and coffee. Would definitely recommend visiting the beautiful rustic woods and fields retreat.

This is our third time staying with Lenore and Dennis. It is our favorite Airbnb. Lenora made us chocolate covered strawberries, and homemade bread. They always make us feel right at home. They have all the little touches that you could want. Coffee pods the most magical bed you’ve ever slept in comfy blankets, robe slippers, etc.We will be back again and look forward to our visit every year. Thank you you both you are the best.

Sean was a kind and helpful host, keeping us proactively updated on driving conditions in the snowstorm of the decade and being flexible to accommodate our travel needs. The place is beautiful and so peaceful. There was in fact too much wind and snow for us to really explore the land, so I can’t wait to come back someday in a different season! Even snowed in on the mountain, it was a perfect getaway. Definitely get some of his maple syrup if you can!

We had a great stay at the Hollywood Bungalow. House was described accurately and had so many thoughtful touches to make us feel welcome. Diana met us upon arrival and walked us around the property and the house. Such a great host! She had generously provided snacks, treats and gave a thorough overview for our stay. We were primarily focused on skiing at Jiminy Peak which was a short 20 minute drive. We also brought our 5 year-old rescue who had the best vacation of her life. She was able to use the fenced-in backyard to run around off leash and even meet a new friend when Jackson's dog visited. Diana even shoveled walking paths in the yard throughout our stay so we could get around in the high snow. The Screening Room is awesome and provided hours of entertainment. Quiet street and picturesque location. We will definitely return.

Everything at the condo was wonderful! So close to Mt. Snow! Everything was neat, tidy, clean and the host was great. Definitely recommend!

Excellent location with great parking in a well maintained condo. We had seven people and everyone felt really comfortable. We were able to cook a meal easily and watch a movie after skiing with the family. The rooms are the perfect size and the views are so peaceful. Only a four min drive to Stratton, so it made our weekend simple.

We had a wonderful time at this place! The property is beautiful, easy to find and parking was convenient. They are incredibly dog friendly and our pup loved the yard & brewery nearby on the same property! We had a wedding in Brattleboro VT, which was easily driveable from the air BNB.

The place was just as described and super clean and cozy. The hosts left clear instructions for everything. It was perfect for our stay and we would absolutely stay again if we are ever in the area.

It’s hard to encapsulate the wonderful place that is the rock river retreat! Maia and Damien were such warm and friendly hosts - helping us scrape snow from our car, offering honey and lemon for a cold, and making wonderful local suggestions. The space itself is bigger than it looks like in photos - the view from every window is picturesque, we were able to cook every night in the kitchenette, the bed was super comfy, and the bathroom was a total oasis. The space itself was full of character but also spotlessly clean, and it was super easy to get in and out for skiing at Mount snow. Can’t wait to come back!

Hello my stay was absolutely just what I ordered ,serene,peaceful, beautiful, recharging while my stay was while I worked which was quite a bit I enjoyed and was able to relax thank you I appreciate your hospitality and I wish I would of met Barry before my last couple has alot of knowledge and some good Ole stories thnx for the stay guys !!!

The Burrow was superb! My partner and I went with another couple and our dogs, and the space offered privacy with a quick drive to several locales in Southern Vermont, including Manchester. There is also a pond within walking distance where we took the dogs and all swam! Furthermore and quite the distinguishing factor, Dana’s hospitality is unmatched; she took such great care of us and was thoughtful from beginning to end. Highly recommend the Burrow for your Southern Vermont adventures!
