The place is quite comfortable, it has everything you need to have a quite pleasant stay, it is very close to the center and the area is very quiet, Kathia was in communication at all times, I felt at home, I would definitely return.

The house was perfect!!! It had everything you needed, i felt really comfortable and immediately at home. There was a fruit basket when we arrived, and she even made sure we had some simple refreshments to start the day with. Judith always answers and is really friendly and helpful. The house is in a nice and quiet environment. It's a 15 min walk to the center and it's close to plaza pozuelos, where there is a big supermarket. You can do everything on foot, only to return back to the house, i recommend a taxi. But it has it's advantages, you have a nice view here, and no noise from the city at all, it's really quiet and peaceful, what is hard to get in Guanajuato centro. So if you want to be close to the center but still want to live quiet and super clean... I definitely recommend this place. Thank you Judith!!! You're an amazing host, i hope to see you soon again!!! Amelia was very responsive each time I messaged her with a question or asking for recommendations. Very friendly communication. The house was cute and cozy. The view from the balcony was lovely and everything was mostly walkable distance. Had a great experience staying here.

Great location, walkable to centro and great restaurants. Really unique and beautiful place. Bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. With single pane windows it was a bit loud if you are a light sleeper. Still very much enjoyed our stay!

Dave’s place was wonderful and we appreciated his house manager, Mario who drove us from the Leon airport and checked us in to the house. A small uphill walk from the Centro but easy to reach and felt very safe. The outside terrace and view is out of this world! Dave was very responsive and so helpful and answered all of my questions with kindness. Highly recommend for those who can manage a few stairs.

Our stay at this vacation rental was nothing short of perfect! The home was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and had all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The location was ideal—close to el centro. The outdoor space was a real highlight, with a lovely patio perfect for enjoying meals and the views. Wow! The VIEW from the kitchen & living room was so breathtaking that we would just spend hours just sitting on the couch & look out in awe at the beauty of Guanajuato. I have never felt so at peace & relaxed than at Casa Meraki. I also love how simply decorative the home was, which added how relaxed I felt. Both beds & pillows at our unit was very comfortable. Bathrooms had great water pressure, hot water ++ & shower had body wash & shampoo dispensers and sinks had hand soap. Toilet paper felt like Kirkland brand, triple layer & soft. We also appreciated the water filtration system & the espresso machine. We stayed 5 nights & I think we spent more time inside than in town:). Host was very responsive , gave clear instructions & also provided recommendations & we easily communicated via the Airbnb app. He also contacted me 2x to ask if the unit required any cleaning. I would highly recommend Casa Meraki to all my family & friends ❤️. I already want to come back!!!

My friend and I stayed for two weeks and I can’t recommend Casa Colibri highly enough. The apartment is beautiful and furnished in traditional Mexican style. Torsten was a terrific host. He responded quickly to questions and had lots of suggestions for getting to know Guanajuato. The view is breathtaking and the location is a short walk to the historic center. The way up is steep but doable. Thank you Torsten, Geraldo and Arturo for taking such great care of us. I highly recommend Guanajuato and the lovely Casa Colibri.

Host was very friendly and kind. When we arrive she walk over to pick us up from down the street and guided us to the apartment. My husband is 5’11” and the ceilings were too low for him. I am 5’1 and it would work for me. It is a small apartment and is as described. But very nice place to stay. There was also a large private patio outside the apartment door that was very spacious and clean. 😊

This was our second time in Guanajuato. We were happy to walk the distance to Dermot's place just to have an amazing view and relatively more quiet surroundings. This is the trade off of staying closer to town. Dermot was great in communicating and was very responsive and helpful. He provided fresh water and the beds were comfortable, which was important to us. This place was a great value and each day we felt grateful to come back to his place after exploring the wonders of Guanajuato!

Amazing hide away from the loud but fun surrounding. Felt very safe with an amazing patio with art and in every corner. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a charming space in what seems to me the perfect part of Guanajuato. It’s an easy walk into the heart of the downtown area, but you are still away from the bustle. Tara has a lovely aesthetic sense — the apartment has a simple beauty to it. The view from the balcony is iconic.

The accommodation in general is very comfortable, has a very nice view, very clean, has what you need, clean towels, blankets, pillows and very comfortable beds, in the kitchen it has the basic necessary for your stay, which I would add would be a bottle of water, access to the carport is a bit complicated. But you can walk to the pipila and go down and up the funicular. I would definitely go back to this lodge.

The place is very nice, even better than the photos!! Great for hanging out with friends, everything is planned for a wonderful and hassle-free stay. Communication with the host was quick, friendly and very attentive. I recommend 100%

Excellent service, Erika surpassed assisting us in every way! We stayed in the Villa and it’s super spacious, and really nice. At night there is such a beautiful view to the city. The town is only a 10 min drive and the staff can coordinate rides into town. (Only $5) honestly the town gets pretty loud with the musical festivities so Casa Estrellas location is ideal so you can relax when you’re not in town. Definitely recommend, and would return.

Susan’s place was amazing! It’s a short walk down the hill to Guanajuato’s Centro and a short walk to el Pipila. Susan’s place was beautiful and we felt right at home! Overall, I would recommend it!

Excellent city view. At all times I received check-in and accommodation directions, the area is excellent for walking downtown with many things to do. Please note that the place is up and for some people it might be a little tired to climb. All excellent

Beautiful place! Would definitely stay again. Responsive host. Make sure you check the settings on the dryer before using. I had my clothes steamed somehow and cannot get the wrinkles out…Everything else was amazing and the view was great. Thank you!!

This place was the ideal place since it is far enough away from the bars to be able to rest without noise, but you can reach by walking to several points of interest, on the corner passes the transport which leads straight to the market, on that same corner there is a shop that opens from early where they sell everything.

Susan and her husband have done an amazing job with their complex and hospitality. The details which they have put into the place, landscaping and amenities are wonderful. The views are spectacular from their place. We stayed at one of their units on the second floor and we really enjoyed both the unit and the location. They provided complimentary refreshments and cooking supplies and goodies. The unit was very clean and beds were comfortable. Location-wise the complex is up the hill from the centro. It’s only about 7-10 minutes drive to a parking structure which Susan’s husband gave us the recommendation for and it’s very easy to get to and out from. We also did walk to the centro multiple times from their place. It’s about 15 minutes and you will either go down from Pipila statue through multiple steps (you can see many murals and explore the narrow streets this way) or you could walk to Pipila for about 5 minutes and then take the Funicular down to centro.
