Excellent, short family stay. Cottage had everything we needed, even stuff not described in listing. Neighborhood is lovely and quiet and safe. Shared amenities, pool, etc are excellent, including a brilliant toddlers playroom which isn’t mentioned anywhere but is a saviour on a rainy day. Helpful host. Would recommend and stay again.

What an amazing place to stay with your family for a get-away. We had a wonderful, relaxing visit. The views of the ocean are incredible - we were even treated to a 30min orca show one evening! The home is thoughtfully laid out and very spacious. Lots of towels and linens. The kitchen is well appointed, and great for meals and family dinners and boardgames in the evening. Great bathrooms also. The pool was fantastic. We swam every single day and we loved the nearby access to the beautiful, private beach. We also appreciated the extras like the paddle boards, kayaks, pool accessories & boardgames. Word of wisdom: If you're anything like me, you don't intuitively check "House Rules" for additional fees which is where theirs are listed. To access that glorious pool there is a fairly substantial added fee, as well as a fee to bring pets. We'd already booked and paid before we discovered this. It wasn't a deal breaker for us, but might be a game changer for some.

Our stay in Paul’s home was amazing. Amazing neighborhood and home is very spacious! We came with a large group and the home was perfect for my family. the listing was exactly what we were looking for. Paul also quickly responded to any questions during our stay and check in was a Breeze. The neighbors were very nice and helpful. No complaints whatsoever. The only thing I’d say is the house could use a bit of remodeling as it has what I would call a bit of normal wear and tear. But It definitely something that be addressed easy. Paul was great. I would definitely recommend for large groups looking to visit surrey or Vancouver area.

We had a great time at the Meadow View Cottage. You are greeted with a lovely home, then comes the pool and the final touch is the hot tub and the lawn. The property has a great layout to spend lots of times outdoors. Our family enjoyed cooling off in the pool and played lawn games and took advantage of the hot tub while gazing the stars. The location is also perfect if families would like to visit Bellingham or Birch Bay. Just some minor details to consider: Face & ID verification and rental agreement are needed before you arrive at the property. We also requested a high chair and a travel crib in advance but they arrived later on. The property is private but the owner is living right next door, so it is not a complete privacy. The owner was kind enough to clean the pool while we were out. Some of the furniture in the house is not kid friendly especially if you have young kids.

'Hollywood North' is a bit of a misnomer - the home is much more classic, warm and comfortable, with owners who provide timely and helpful communication and assistance. 'West Coast Charm and Grace' might be more descriptive. The cost of the accommodation, though not unsubstantial, was well worth it. We were a group of 9 adults from 2 branches of one family who meet every Thanksgiving to reconnect. The bedrooms, the bathrooms, the 2 living areas, the dining room, the outdoor terrace, the swimming pool and hot tub, the gardens, and the very impressive kitchen all served to make the holiday one we will cherish. Everything you need to make the house your home was supplied - inspired us to stay in and cook as a family a vegetarian Thanksgiving dinner! In short, a beautiful home and great hosts in a lovely setting. Could not ask for more.

Good midcentury pad with big views. It's also within walking distance to shops and restaurants on Marine Drive. One of the best airbnbs we've stayed in!

Had a wonderful stay at Anzoom’s beautiful home, the amazing city views from the kitchen and the rooftop lived up to the photos. The layout was perfect for our family trip, as having two floors and multiple bedrooms and bathrooms made it easy to take care of our baby and have my parents help out as well.

Excellent location! Walk to Granville Island, Kits Beach, downtown, only 3 miles to entrance of Stanley Park. Wonderful restaurants, cafe’s, food markets all very close by. The hosts were very responsive. Very quiet, restful and peaceful location. The kitchen has pretty much everything you will need to cook fabulous meals. We brought our road bikes with us and used this location as a launch pad to excellent rides all over the city (UBC, Lynn Canyon, Lionsgate Bridge and beyond). Street parking was no problem for us - however I can imagine it might be a bit tricky during the summer months. This Airbnb is a throwback to the original Airbnb proposition - no property managers, you are staying in a family’s home and you will likely meet the owners of the home. They live in the basement ADU while they rent the main 2 floors of the house. They are super friendly and eager to help with recommendations. Enjoyed our stay and plan to return.

We had a wonderful stay! Lots of space, great kitchen, and wonderful breezes. You can see the tides on the bay. Beautiful! The host was so supportive the whole time and especially when we forgot to pack one cupboard of our food. She had it ready for a relative to pick up for us after we left.

Incredibly beautiful home. Perfect getaway and the view is incredible. The kitchen was so well stocked and had more things than we even expected. Would stay here again.

Nice and cozy space. Clean, comfy, lots of dishes available in a full kitchen as well as clothes washer dryer in unit. Kim and Justin answered any questions promptly. North Van is a beautiful city with lots to do. The house is walking distance to Lonsdale Ave with great shopping, restaurants, grocery stores. Good value for price. Would book again.

The place was great for our needs. With ten of us there were plenty of rooms and bathrooms to choose from. The kitchen was well equipped and had what we needed. The games room downstairs was a lot of fun! There was some wear and tear in a few places, including the walls, but nothing that impacted our stay. As noted in the description, you can't walk very far around the property as it's right next to commercial greenhouses, but at this time of year we stayed mostly inside anyway. It has a beautiful view! Nice and close to the Abbotsford Airport.

Micky’s place was great fit for our family over the Christmas holiday. Each couple had their own bedroom and bathroom. The house was a big and welcoming space. Kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed for a turkey dinner. It was great to have a fenced backyard that our dogs could roam in. The karaoke was a nice touch. We used it a lot on New Years Eve. Micky and Paramjeet were very responsive to all our requests.

Amazing stay! The place was spotless, well-equipped, and exactly as described. The host was friendly, responsive, and made check-in super easy. The location was perfect, close to everything we needed.

A real gem! The hosts were so nice, and went out of their way to make sure our trip was special. The house was extremely clean and well decorated. There was so much space and we really were able to settle in. We went into the city both days of our trip and it was a nice easy trip from the house. I couldn’t recommend this place more. It is well worth the cost and my friends and I look forward to coming to stay again!

Jo Ann's space was exactly what we needed. Clean, warm, roomy, quiet, private, and the view over their koi pond is amazing.

Wonderful stay

We celebrated my 41st birthday at Paul’s place and it was amazing. The house is huge with lots of private bedrooms and the kitchen is an excellent hub for activity. Outside has a ton of space for activities and the theater room and sound system made for some great dance parties. We had a great time and hope to stay again soon!!

We were a family of four and had a great stay with our children. We enjoyed it a lot and used the facilities. We will definitely return to this place in the future. It was a very nice and cute house, just as described on the page, everything was neat and clean, and our host was very kind and flexible. Highly recommended 🙂
