A charming, warm and peaceful place. Perfect for a moment with those we love. We enjoyed the fall colors as a family and could not have found a better place to stay in the area. The host is attentive and very responsive. We had a slight power outage that lasted less than 30 minutes and within minutes someone came to give us a gallon of drinking water and assist us if needed. Never seen before!! I highly recommend it!!! 5/5 👌

Pleasant environment, beautiful landscape and very clean chalet. We didn't run out of anything. Beautiful weather, bad weather with the beautiful and large gallery you will be comfortable and can admire the landscape.

This place is for fishing, camping or chalet lovers, the lake is green as in the south, very beautiful lake and very large to visit by boat

Our group of 8 friends spent an amazing long weekend at Friendly Fires and couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The place is quirky and cute in all the right ways… We experienced all 4 seasons in 3 days (19° and sunshine followed by freezing rain and snow), but the property has so many different areas to hang out and activities for entertainment and relaxing that we were never on top of each other or bored. We’re already planning our next visit, can’t wait to go back!

We recently stayed at Benoit's charming cottage on Lac Macgregor and had a wonderful experience. The property was beautifully situated, with stunning views of the lake. The cottage itself was cozy and well-maintained. We enjoyed kayaking and canoeing on the lake, exploring the nearby islands, and relaxing on the spacious deck by the water and on the large deck at the back of the cottage where he had several meals (not wanting to miss an ounce of summer). Benoit was wonderful - he's very helpful and friendly, ensuring we had everything needed for a fantastic getaway.

Despite the rain and the fog at the end of December which did not allow for usual outdoor lwinter activities like skiing, snowshoeing or even skating, we had an excellent time at the cottage. Our family of five adults enjoyed playing lots of board games, we had plenty of firewood for the indoor fireplace and there was plenty of comfortable seats to enjoy a movie. We took some walks on the very quiet and peaceful roads around the cottage. Wifi and cell reception were good The kitchen was well stocked and clean. We appreciated the large windows overlooking the lake. And the cozy sunroom off the kitchen was a wonderful little spot to watch the numerous birds coming to the birdfeeder. Overall, we had a great few days relaxing in a very nice cottage.

We had the most awesome winter stay at Krista’s cottage. The cottage truly had everything we needed and more! Very clean and warm space. We had such a blast we decided to extend our stay! My 3 year old had so much fun playing in the play room keeping busy with all the toy bins! Felt like home away from home, it was perfect! Best Airbnb stay by far! Can’t wait to go back to enjoy the summer days there!

Beautiful place! pictures are accurate. We were 14 ladies celebrating a birthday and there was plenty of space for all of us. there are alot of stairs so wouldn't be good for anyone with mobility issues. Very well equipped and we all loved our stay! Thank you for sharing your beautiful chalet!

The space was spotless, cozy, and exactly as described, with modern amenities that added a great touch of comfort. One of the highlights of my stay was the unique sport center built by the owner. All kids absolutely loved the indoor swimming pool and game room, which made their visit extra special. Every detail of this property contributed to making it a memorable home away from home. This is a great airBNB for a large group, with plenty of amenities and space. The bedrooms were all great, lots of bathrooms which was great for a large group as well. Beautiful surroundings, a few nice places to walk as well. The host was very kind and responsive, making our stay much easier and more enjoyable, and the check-in guide he provided ahead of time was excellent as well. Would book again!

We loved it, we came from New Jersey and California to visit Canada and this place was amazing and beautiful. The snowy views were magnificent. Would love to come back during the summer to enjoy the lake.

What a magnificent chalet! It had everything we needed, was well appointed with quality items, furniture, beds and appliances. The owners have put a lot of effort into a "luxury" feel and there was nothing about the experience that was cheap. Every room was very clean when we arrived, and in fact the driveway and beach had been raked. A great attention to detail! The pictures in the listing make it look amazing but in fact it looks even better in person. We were 8 adults staying in the chalet and it's spacious enough for couples to have their own space but come together in a spacious environment as well. Use of the jacuzzi, paddleboards, large dock with solid chairs, living room with fireplace, full kitchen and dining area as well as several areas to just relax. We loved it and were awed by the constant calm view of the lake. I expect we will return next year as a group.

Wonderful stay in a beautiful chalet! Bbq, fireplace, hottub and lots of other amenities in a scenic resort area on the lake. Exceptionally clean and comfortable.

We were looking for a quiet getaway, and this place delivered! From the amenities like a hot tub and firepit well stocked with firewood for the whole weekend, to the serene views across the lake and nearby hiking trails - this place was everything we wanted. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful escape!

We loved staying at Ced’s place, it was very secluded, peaceful and had every amenity we could ask for! He was really responsive throughout our stay and even let us checkout a little late which was really considerate. Highly recommended!

Great rustic cottage, super well equipped, lakefront with campfire, spa, private beach. We loved the espresso coffee maker, the super tranquil lake, the sunsets, and the campfire all by the lake.

We had an amazing time at Louise’s place . It literally had everything you needed . Surroundings were incredible. We would have deer that should up every morning and night . Best chalet we have ever rented . As for the host always available for any questions. Definitely looking forward to going back

An absolutely beautiful place! Personally, I found it even more stunning in real life than in the pictures. Words can hardly describe the quality of this prestigious log cabin. Stefan was an excellent host—communication was smooth and fast, and he always replied promptly. The instructions and guest manual were clear and helpful, making us feel right at home. We would definitely love to come back in the summer with our friends!
