Vacation rentals with a hot tub in Manawatū-Whanganui

What a great base to explore National Park. This is not a “professional” Airbnb but their vocational home and it feels Ike one. This is a very nice surprise vs 100s of faceless Airbnb locations which. Everything was clean, kitchen was stacked. We can confirm that outdoor hot tub is there and operational. We did not use it but the water was hot and views were nice. The only small issue: no shampoo, only body soap ( or we did not find it). Not a big deal as we had some but was surprising given how stocked the house is. Thank you Debbie for letting us stay.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful and well-equipped property. The house was spotless, cozy, and perfectly located—close to town yet peaceful with stunning views. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen had everything we needed, and the outdoor area was great for relaxing. One highlight was the spa pool—a great addition to the property. However, the water felt a bit over-chlorinated, which meant we couldn’t stay in for more than 10 minutes at a time. That’s just a small detail in an otherwise perfect stay, and I’m sure it’s something that can be easily adjusted. Overall, we highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Ohakune. It’s a wonderful spot, and we would happily return in the future!

Ideal location for everything you want to do in Tongariro National Park. Directly located across from shuttles for the Alpine Crossing which saves you a lot of time. Well appointed home. Responsive host. Would be good to have a few fans for when it is hot in the summer

We had a fantastic stay here and it was a great base for exploring Tongariro National Park. The house is beautiful and was the perfect place to relax after hiking the crossing. Tracey was so helpful and welcoming and we really felt at home. We are already planning to return in the winter! 10/10 would recommend.

This is a very nice home in Ohakune. I think this town is the best area to stay for access to Tongariro as it is a real city with shop, cafes and a grocery store. The house is really well equipped and Eileen was a great host. Definitely recommend it

our stay at Mountain Glass was nothing short of amazing. It was everything and more! A clean space, big & easy straight forward kitchen and living area made us feel right at home and the surrounding outside environment was truly magical with views we will never forget. Jo also made time to arrange the master room beforehand in to a romantic vibe/theme as the trip was a surprise early birthday/Valentine's for my beloved. I highly recommend and I look forward to our return stay in the future.

We were racing at Mansfield over the week- always hectic and busy, so it was a lovely place to go home to each evening. Quiet, secluded and tranquil. We loved the kitchen!!

Sylvie’s house is simply spectacular - from the amazing view to the well furnished and designed house with full kitchen facilities - and it gave our vacation a relaxed but luxurious beach vibe. The property is well located being situated in a gated community with easy access to walking trails and to the water. I highly recommend this place for families looking for comfortable lodgings near lake Taupo.

What a beautiful spot! Great view from deck, kitchen and hot tub of the volcano and loved having a few different spots to relax depending on time of day. Good distance to the volcano for hiking but also the amenities of the house were great, as well as neighbouring highland cows!

A perfect place for a cozy stay near the beach - loved it. The outdoor bath and BBQ are incredible, and only a minute’s walk to the shoreline!

My partner and I had an absolutely amazing stay here for his 40th. Very highly recommended. The view here is MAGIC. You can admire it from both inside and outside as the windows are so well placed - everywhere you look you have a lovely view! Gorgeous view spots outside on the deck, especially in the hot tub which was glorious in the evenings as the sun was starting to go down. Completely peaceful surroundings and a beautiful place to stay. Great furnishings and amenities. The breakfast included was lovely, and we ordered the cheese platter for the first night which was delicious and very welcome after a long drive. Felt very lucky to be able to stay here, thanks so much!

Ths was one of the best places I have stayed. The cleanliness was next level and all the extras supplied with fresh home made bread and other goodies in the fridge.... Our privacy was absolutely respected even though their home was not far away. I would definitely come here again whenever I want some time out. Very well done to these hosts.!!!

Perfect getaway for peace and relaxation! This charming cottage was exactly what we needed. The outdoor bath overlooking the valley was magical, and watching the friendly farm animals added to the charm. The location was ideal for visiting Taupo and perfectly situated for exploring the Orakei Korako geothermal park just down the road - you couldn't ask for a better base to visit this hidden gem! But the tranquil setting made us want to just stay in and unwind. Left feeling rejuvenated - highly recommend!

got to spend a couple of nights here for our Tongariro Alpine Crossing hike! Great location, just a few minutes away for restaurants but yet peaceful and quiet. The spa was very nice after the long hike!
