House vacation rentals in Magnetic Island

This lovely home was very comfortable, clean and in a convenient spot located close to Townsville city and the Strand. The pool was certainly the highlight with children, it provided hours of fun! Matthew was so very helpful, attentive and accommodated us for an early check-in. We will certainly organise to stay at this home again. We loved it!!

We had 3 families spanning 3 generations to celebrate Xmas. There was plenty of room for 6 adults and 5 kids. With 3 bathrooms, there were no issues using all 3 showers at once. Still plenty of pressure, never ran out of hot water. plenty of space to spread out, it was great to migrate from inside to outside to the pool, to the pool room and repeat in reverse! Would thoroughly recommend!

Everything was great. Good communication, fantastic place for a weekend away with family and friends.

Great location and ideal for large families. Quick walk to the local pub and the beach. Have recommended it to other large families.

We had a great stay. Sitting inside looking out at the tropical downpour on the gardens was so peaceful. The rooms were comfy too and the host was very helpful. Highly recommend.

Had a peaceful 5 day break. Pool was so refreshing at the end of a beach day or walk in the National Park. Chickens and wallabies wander around freely. Cute. Bed super comfy.

The home is a well presented old Queenslander, location is great being situated just behind The Strand. Pool is great. Jane was a good host, responded quickly to my queries. I’d stay there again.

When we had any problems or questions the host was responsive, informative and took action when required. The place is presented as shown on the photos, family friendly and pet friendly

You couldn’t want any more than what is on offer at ‘on the beach’. Wonderful relaxing location with some amusing wildlife, easy breezy house that has amazing views and access right onto the beach.

Roge has a fantastic place tucked away in a quiet part of town. The house itself is absolutely spotless! Really lovely house and Roge is very accomodating with very high communication! Would definitely stay again!

The home was lovely, bright and well appointed. We enjoyed our stay 😊 Great location, close to the strand, coffee shops, and a plethora of activities! Very child/family friendly. One of the selling points for our family was the coffee machine and grinder shown in the listing photos (we are avid coffee drinkers/barista) but we were sadly disappointed when arriving to find a very budget coffee machine in its place. We ended up buying coffee every morning 😬 Room and bedding configuration was great, beds themselves are very squeeky (master and adjoining room) and could do with attention (frames tightened? Screws tightened? Mattress?) Kitchen is very well appointed. With younger kids, we cooked every night and I had everything I needed at my finger tips. Plenty of cutlery, plates, bowls and utensils. Fantastic array of condiments for use (oil, salt, pepper, seasoning etc) Host was very responsive, communicated well and addressed any concerns immediately. Thanks for having us!

This property is quirky, clean and just what our family of 4 needed. A simple little island house with the comfort of air-conditioned bedrooms and a great outdoor eating area. The outdoor shower is a real treat that our kids loved.

The location was lovely and quiet with only 1 neighbor who was lovely, the kookaburra's were amazing and a short walk to the beach. The house itself is lovely with all that you could ask for, we highly recommend this stay, thankyou to our host, we will be back.

We would totally recommend this property, lovely vibes as soon as you walk into the spacious living, kitchen area. We loved the kitchen, plenty of room for a couple of cooks. The 3 bathrooms worked a treat, the main ensuite is amazing. We made good use of the lovely shaded pool, perfect for the Townsville summer. We have had a perfect relaxing break, the house was very easy to keep clean and tidy, we will definitely stay again on our next break up North.

Cottage had excellent location and perfect backyard for dog. Miriam provided some household necessities that made us feel at home instantly. Very comfortable beds and awesome air cons for summer! TV is huge and kitchen is well equipped. Great NQ stay.

Beautifully located at the back of Arcadia amongst the trees. Walking distance to both Alma and Geoffrey Bay, shops and restaurants. It has everything you need kitchen wise as well beach towels.

We absolutely loved our stay at Jackie’s place! Jackie was very friendly and responsive. The home was beautiful, clean, modern and tastefully furnished. There was loads of storage space too. It felt like home immediately. The addition of the enclosed outdoor patio was a highlight! We could sit out and enjoy the space anytime, day or night with no bugs or critters. We had our 2 cats with us as well and they loved watching the wildlife from the safety of the patio. The location is 20+ mins from centre of Townsville but that didn’t bother us at all. There was a supermarket just 5 mins down the road and we loved staying in the quiet countryside with horses and cows around us. Thank you so much for our stay and letting us bring our fur babies. We would 1000% stay again.
