Vacation rentals in Magnetawan River

It was a great stay. So so quiet. It’s a beautiful place for a reset. We ended up staying two days because we didn’t want to get caught in road closures. The one day we pretty much did nothing and it was perfect. The bathroom is beautiful. Chase was the icing on the cake. He came for pet and cuddles and put some smiles on our face. Thank you.

My husband and I were dreaming of a cozy cottage getaway for the weekend with our kids, and John & Leah’s place was everything we wanted and more. We immediately felt at home and were able to relax, unwind, and enjoy the beautiful nature around us. John & Leah were kind enough to let us use their pack n’ play & high chair for our baby, which made the trip a breeze. Our 7-year-old loved the variety of activities to do on the property and was never bored. She loved the trampoline and enjoying s’mores over the campfire. The kitchen was well-equipped for putting together meals and cleaning up after. It was chilly when we were there and the space heaters and fireplace warmed things up nicely! We hope to visit again :)

A great Airbnb host provides excellent communication, creates a welcoming and clean space, goes above and beyond to meet guests’ needs. They are responsive, accommodating, and ensure a smooth and comfortable stay.

The perfect getaway! It’s so cozy feels like you’re at home. The property has everything you would need for a short- term or a long -term stay- lots of linen, toiletries, utensils and kitchen appliances. Esteban was a very good and responsive host. There are a few fast food chains around that are open till 12am, and grocery and convenience stores are right around. Would definitely recommend and visit again!

A great rustic get away. Just be mindful of the garbage you bring as you will need to deal with it at the end of your stay. The view is very pretty in the mornings 🌅 My husband and I got a lot of use out of the firepit and enjoyed being surrounded by the forest! Location is convenient to visit tobermory, Lions Head and Devil Monument!

Enjoyed our stay at Glenn Burney Lodge. Owner was very helpful and communicative, proximity to restaurant was great, privacy and seclusion of cabin made us comfortable on a first trip with our dog that he wasn’t going to annoy others if he barked a lot (which he didn’t…yay!). Overall, a very positive experience.

Fantastic place to stay. Don’t worry about the cold nights in the winter as the wood stove will make the cottage toasty warm with lots of hard wood in the shed. Large parking area for trucks and trailers. Place is newly renovated inside and out. Quite location in the winter. Will be going back for sure !

We stayed at this cottage for 3 nights, and it was one of the highlights of our 10 day trip up to Northern Ontario. The rooms were spacious and clean, accommodations were as detailed and everything worked fine. Check in was easy and the cottage is set up in a way that loading and unloading was easy as well. Kayak and paddleboards were fun to use, only wish there was another Kayak as we were 4. Good fishing on the dock and great for one or 2 families All in all, everything we wanted for our trip! Would recommend this place and would also stay there myself again
