My family really enjoyed our stay at this very beautiful, zen, peaceful and unique property. The temple right next door is beautiful and peaceful. The whole property is just so beautiful! We enjoyed the meditation in the morning and loved the complimentary Japanese breakfast - it was delicious. Thank you for having us!

love this place as it's right on the slope for skiing. lovely family run hotel with a lot of friendly guests who had long term relationship with the host. you can tell that the host are really nice and organized events such as mochi making and tasting while I was there. highly recommend for ski in ski out experience and nice combination with cultural experience as well. oh, not to forget, the dinner prepared were really delicious!

I lived there for 4 weeks and it was such a lovely time. The region is very quiet compared to the big city and lets you really breathe a sigh of relief. It was a month I will never forget in my life. Thank you so much guys.

I was worried about the cold in Karuizawa, but the room was warm even with floor heating.The bath was slow to stretch out my tiredness. It is a few minutes walk to Old Light Ginza Street, and it is a perfect location for sightseeing. The staff were very helpful with responding to questions and lending out the extension cord. Thank you very much.

What a fantastic place to stay. I needed something affordable for a 17 day trip and Noda Hibariya Hostel hit all the marks! Michu is an absolutely fantastic host and so very warm and welcoming! I will be coming here again for sure!

It was a very nice stay. I was there for the Fuji Rock Festival, and I also got to meet some local people here, they were super kind. The stay was nice and the amenities were very comfortable. ✧✧Thanks!✧✧
