Nice little cabin where we could relax and unwind after a day of hiking at the gorge!

Another peaceful weekend in Red River Gorge. This was our second stay at Margo's and this time we never left the house. Peace and quiet is what we wanted and peace and quiet is exactly what we got. All we did was eat, watch movies, sit in the hot tub and sleep. A very relaxing weekend. My wife loved the new master bathroom and enjoyed a long soak in the bath tub. Personally, I love the privacy. I saw one car and one horse over our three day stay. It was like having RRG all to yourself. If you're reading the reviews to help with your decision making let me help by saying: You will have plenty of privacy whether you're inside or outside. You're 20 minutes away from Hollerwood. You're 30 minutes or less from Gorge Underground. Bring your groceries because there's absolutely nothing close. The wifi is fast and reliable. The house and grounds are clean. Plenty of extra pillows and blankets. All the furniture is cozy. Streaming services connect easily. And the host is absolutely amazing.

The place was absolutely inviting as soon as we pulled into the driveway. The view of the mountains with all that snow was beautiful. The kitchen has all sorts of cooking equipment for us to make meals. There are plenty of things to do on property if you aren’t up for hiking from the mini arcade to taking a dip in the well maintained hot tub. Was perfect for our groups board game weekend. No over complicated rules to follow like when checking in an apartment and check out was a breeze. The host was accommodating and responsive. Hope to be able to come back again when the weather is warmer!

Boo Bear Cabin was perfect for a solo getaway. Although it rained my whole trip I was able to hike to all spots in the listing. I never turned the oven on, used the flat grill for all of my cooking. The hot tub was super relaxing and because of the excessive amount of rain there was a small waterfall feet away from the gazebo. When setting on the balcony upstairs out of the bedroom area I watched geese touch down and leave the lake. Listening closely from the same spot I could hear a bigger waterway to the left a few hundred yards away. The drive back is a little bumpy but manageable. I will be back to this location when the weather is better! I want to explore. For this stay I was looking to zen, and I was able to do just that at this proptery, I never left. Janice was very efficient answering all of my questions about local weather. Definetly a good bang for your buck stay!

Amazing host! Directions were very accurate! We found it when it was pitch black! Would definitely stay here again or at one of William’s other rentals!! The house was super cute! Extremely clean and very vintage. Which was perfect! We had every kind of weather hail, rain, sun, thunder and lighting. My new husband said it was like we were in a snow globe with all the beautiful windows at the cabin! Like I said Williams directions were spot on incredible host!!

Beautiful and charming cabin and surroundings. Perfect for a couples retreat. The cabin was well appointed with everything we could possibly need. Susan was very responsive and provided local resources for restaurants & hikes. We just loved cooking and relaxing in the cozy cabin.

We had a nice, relaxing time at this cozy cabin. It was our first time in the Red River Gorge area - very beautiful.

Really enjoyed our stay it’s so quiet and relaxing having the lake a few steps away it’s really nice. The house has a very welcoming feeling it’s great. Anytime we’re back in the area we will definitely plan to stay at Josie’s.

My husband and I came down for a weekend of trail riding with our Jeep club and for my birthday. Mark had gotten me a birthday cake and left a note saying Happy Birthday! That was the sweetest thing. We absolutely loved this beautiful, cozy, lovely cabin. We highly recommend staying here if you want a peaceful and relaxing stay. We felt right at home and Mark is a fantastic host. We couldn’t have asked for a better weekend getaway. We definitely will be staying here again and we can’t wait. Thank you Mark!

Great place, close to town. Steve was friendly and ended up meeting him by accident at pickers paradise. Very nice. WiFi is really good.

Very clean! Beautifully decorated and very cozy! during our stay we visited the Ark Encounter and did some kayaking during our vacation to "clear of mind". We will definatly be back!

My son and I spent the week of Christmas at the cabin. It was a perfect week of bouldering and celebration!! Plan on making it our new family tradition!! See ya in the Spring!!

We loved our stay on the farm! The place was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The kids were thrilled with all the animals and especially enjoyed visits from the friendly Great Pyrenees dogs. I was pleasantly surprised that it didn’t smell like a farm at all! Sandy and Martin were so friendly and helpful, making our stay even better. We also bought some of the farm’s sausage, and it was absolutely delicious. Highly recommend this place for a unique and enjoyable experience!

My husband and I loved and enjoyed our month long stay at Patty's place, Serenity Cabin, from the moment we walked in till the day we left. The place has been nicely decorated, very clean and has the amenities needed during our stay especially in the kitchen. We definitely felt welcomed. Patty has given us clear instructions on how to get there. She also has been responsive to our inquiries and very mindful of our needs and safety especially when the cold rainy weather arrived. We never got tired watching the sunrise from the bedroom window and the amazing sunset from the deck. You can hear the sound of nature that surround you but feel relaxed and peaceful. We surely will be back the next time we visit our daughter and her family. Thank you Patty for sharing your piece of heaven with us. Till next time and many blessings to you and your family. Great house with lots of space for everyone! Would totally recommend it..you won’t be disappointed.

We had a peaceful stay at Laura’s cabin! The bed was super comfortable, the kitchen had the basics for us to cook a couple meals, and the cabin had a rustic charm about it. Not a super walkable area, but the cabin itself is cozy.

We had a wonderful stay and the cabin was as described and just what we we needed! Loved that we could have our dogs with us and it was cozey and relaxing. We went into Berea for a bit and enjoyed some local activities. Would recommend!!
