Vacation rentals with a fireplace in Lynchburg

It was beautiful and peaceful. The house was clean and spacious and if he had any questions or needed help with something she was very responsive. It was a healing trip for our family and exactly what we needed. We hope we can return next year!

We had a lovely stay in "The Small House" over President's day weekend. The house was spacious enough for 5 guests and our dog. Loved that it was decorated for Valentine's day! The house was well situated in the valley so there was easy access to Wintergreen, hiking trails and all the breweries and wineries!!

Deborah was very responsive from day 1 until after check out, even when I asked for advice on a local place to host a Rehearsal Luncheon. Her house was beautiful and peaceful! There was plenty of room to spread out and relax. The property was GORGEOUS! I wish I could've spent more time there. I hope to go back again sometime!

Betsy’s house on Smith Mountain Lake is wonderful. From the driveway it looks like a jiggly small cottage. You go inside and wow! What a surprise! 6 bedrooms on two floors, a screened in porch, a deck and wonderful dock and boathouse. We enjoyed ourselves so much here.

This house was PERFECT for my family. We were in town for my mom's funeral and the location, and size, of this house made it very comfortable for my family to gather together. Their kindness to allow my dogs to come with us really helped lower the stress level. The house is beautiful and we loved the mountain location. It was very private and spacious. We loved it. Susan was also so easy to work with and very understanding of the circumstances.

Great location to “unwind”. So private, extremely quiet, and super clean location! Host was very responsive and accommodating! The hot-tub was a great way to rest the mind and body after a day of fishing! Had a very good selection of cookware and utensils for preparing meals in. Highly recommend the location for someone that wants to connect with Nature and get away from the Whirlwind, but still have connection to the “outside web” world. Awesome outdoor fire pit area! Everything was very clean and organized. Highly recommend!!!

Fred’s place was worth the ratings I gave. We were in the area looking to buy retirement him and only stayed one night, but would definitely stay at this property again. Very nice home for any length of stay at the lake. Thank you! Dave and Traci

This home is a beautiful gem of a mountain retreat. We felt right at home thanks to the cleanliness and beautiful surroundings. Our stay was a lovely reprieve from our busier lifestyle and we saw deer, geese, numerous birds, ice and snow! We hope to come back and stay again. Thanks for sharing your beautiful home!

Beverly’s place was peaceful and serene. We felt right at home, and Beverly was friendly and accommodating. Her place was just as described, and we had a relaxing weekend enjoying the beautiful surrounding scenery and the cozy fireplace.

Mary timely reached out in a friendly way - to both provide necessary info and to let me know she was available if needed. Fortunately, her assistance was not needed. Place was cute and well cared for! Very pleasant experience!

We had a great stay and really enjoyed the loft. Very convenient location with fantastic and modern accommodations - all exactly as described / shown in pictures. We stayed over Christmas and were surprised to find the loft had even been decorated for the holidays with beautiful tree, stockings, and more. Those little extra touches made the stay all the more memorable. Thank you!

We were lucky to book this fabulous, huge space. The entire space was charming and comfortable. We loved the cozy chairs in front of the fireplace. Philip was a great host, very quick to respond and helpful. 100/10 highly recommend.

Ms. Becky was so sweet and made us feel right at home! Everything we needed and more was available. It was clean and comfortable. She had made muffins and had several snacks and chocolates available for us too. I would absolutely recommend staying with her.
