Excellent stay at Tarik's place. The place is great, the best we've had in Egypt. Located away from tourist circuits but close to the beautiful temple of Medinet Habu (only 10 minutes walk away!), the Nobles Valley and the Valley of the Queens. You will be quiet, in a 100% authentic neighborhood, between the beautiful agricultural plain and the desert. We took beautiful walks to the mountain at the end of the day, with magical light. Tarik and his family are adorable and you will feel right at home. It was a pleasure to chat with him and his daughter, who speaks great English. A great experience that we would recommend without hesitation. If one day we return to Luxor, we will probably go to his home.

Flexible host & great space.

For my 65th birthday I took my 3 adult children and their spouses to Egypt for what was hopefully a truly memorable holiday. And it was. I sought large self contained apartments, something with character and prime location at each place we visited. Luxor was our last stop before flying home. Villa Rosamund was exceptional. It was a real treat for my family to stay there, the villa is beautiful and filled with character. The staff were very attentive and flexible according to our needs. We had 2 dinners and a breakfast there and they were easily the best meals we had in Egypt. I think they were good value for the quality of food and service. People seem to quickly forget how much they would pay for 5 star meals at home. Mahmouds cooking skills are top notch. Bedouin kept the villa pristine and never tired of making me cups of tea. Khyry let us down, he never replied to messages and the transport to the airport was so late, 5 minutes later and we would've missed our flight home.

Perfect! Maria is a really wonderful host - she was friendly, kind, interesting to chat to and super helpful, coming to meet us from the ferry and making sure we were settled in. She immediately made us feel comfortable - couldn't ask for more. The apartment itself is great. It is a very nicely decorated space with character. It's lovely - bright, airy, comfortable, and it has everything you could possibly need. We felt right at home. Everything is clean - comfy bed, nice bedding, towels etc all nice. And the terrace.....oohhhhh so great. It's a huge space with lots of comfortable places to lounge either in the shade or in the sun. We loved relaxing there both day and night. Overall, I don't think you will find a nicer host or a better place to stay in Luxor. Thank you!

Our stay at Blue Romance in Luxor was truly memorable! The house was incredibly spacious, offering plenty of room to relax and unwind. Each room felt private and cozy, making it easy to enjoy some solitude when needed. One of the highlights was the balcony, where we could soak in the peaceful surroundings and enjoy some quiet moments. We also had the pleasure of sharing our stay with new friends we met along the way, which made the experience even more special. Overall, Blue Romance offered a perfect blend of comfort, privacy, and tranquility. Highly recommend it for anyone visiting Luxor!

Great place, large, clean with a nice pool. Host was nice enough to pick us up at 11PM from the bus station. Beds were comfy but sofas were a little hard. Area is quiet and about a 15 minute walk to restaurants and just convenience stores nearby.

Our stay at Casa Loko exceeded our expectations! We had a wonderful time. Mohamed was an amazing host who, together with his brother and son, helped us with everything we needed during our stay in Luxor. The house had exactly what we had hoped for. I would happily go back 😄
