Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lunenburg County

We chose this place because it was close by and it is Winter. We had a big snow storm the day of our arrival. Fortunately we only had a 20 min drive and yet it felt like we were in the woods. Robert greeted us and showed us around his lovely home. It was a place where the whole family could spend Christmas Eve and Christmas Day together. All eight of us declared it was the best family Christmas we had in a long time. The beauty could be seen from every window. We were provided with everything we needed to have meals together and to play games and the young adults loved the hot tub. Robert had a beautiful Christmas tree set up and there was lots of little cozy spots to have one on one chats with each other. We realized after meeting Robert that he would be so cool to hang out with but he had other family plans. We are seriously considering making it a new Christmas Tradition.

The house was nice and clean and in a quiet neighborhood. It was definitely further away from downtown Halifax and some other areas I was going to but the neighborhood felt very quiet and safe and was relatively close to gas, groceries and food. The host was quick to respond to questions and we had no issues. I felt the bed in the master was far too soft and low to the ground (personal preference). Overall, an easy and good stay.

Our group was extremely happy to find this gem for accommodations for the Wharf Rat Rally! We had 3 1/2 couples in our group and there was plenty of room for all of us and our gear. It is located realtively close to Digby and the ride to and from was absolutely wonderful! We were happy to find plenty of rooms, a fully stocked kitchen, 2 spacious bathrooms and a diningroom large enough to fit us all. The property and views were beautiful as well. It was a great place to relax after a long day of riding. Last but not least, our hosts were amazing! They made sure our stay was the best! Thank you for the wonderful stay!

We had a short stay during the winter, and even though we couldn't do much outdoors, we had a fun time staying at this cozy Airbnb. And the hosts were really nice to interact with and they provided us games to play with as well. Definitely coming back in the summer!

This is a beautiful stay in a great location! The house was even nicer in person than the photos and the outdoors was incredibly beautiful. We loved the fire pit outside on a cold winter day and the inside of the house was great for a large group. The house was clean and we appreciated that she allowed us to check in a bit early. The only slight issue I had was I messaged her through Airbnb for check in information the week of my stay and did not receive a response, so the next day I sent her a text message. She did promptly respond to the text message so this may be the better way to reach her. I would definitely recommend this stay.

Marta and Jons place is perfect to getaway from the city. Located minutes away from the beaches, you get to enjoy the serene seaside without driving too far. They are an awesome host with clear instructions from the get go. The house was clean and adorable, has all the amenities you need for a great stay. Thanks Jon and Marta!

We stayed for two nights. 5 girls from Halifax just looking for a girls weekend! The house was amazing! So clean, so big, so well stocked, so close to amenities! We were welcomed by the host as soon as we made the reservation. The host communicated well and answered all of our questions in advance. We had a minor inconvenience with the hottub and the host was able to trouble shoot and make it better! I will definitely book this place again! For a small group looking for an amazing place to stay - I highly recommend staying here!

Nice and cozy, kitchen to cook food ,washer and dryer are the plus love the place would definitely stay again and highly recommended

Kyle’s Airbnb was a great spot for our longer visit - well equipped with everything you might need and a cozy, welcoming environment that was perfect for some remote work. The location was a huge plus considering the rainy & windy week we had, being a short walk away from such great cafes and restaurants was incredibly convenient! Highly recommend checking out Ramblers, Lukes, Ratinaud, Bar Kismet and Field Guide. Overall, it’s an excellent home base for exploring the city, we’d happily stay here again!

Shelley and Julian are fantastic hosts. They really helped make our stay enjoyable. They are very responsive and friendly. The place was in a great spot and we were able to walk to all our destinations.

The apartment is perfect in all respects— quiet yet in heart of Spring Garden and walkable to harbourfront. Comfortable and spacious inside, generous supply of towels, bedding, toilet paper and basic kitchen supplies (coffee, tea, salt and pepper, oil and vinegar, plastic wrap and parchment paper. Highly recommend!

She is probably the kindest Airbnb host, and I use Airbnb at least once a month for the last year and a half. I asked if I could check out later- she had no issues (obviously I was taking a chance because others could’ve been booked in) she even offered early check in. She’s very friendly and sweet. This review is about her lol. The place looks like the pics and like she described very spacious and just cozy.

This apartment is really well equipped, functional and rather clean. The bed is extremely confortable and the smart TV offers everything you can think of ! But what's more important is that Jimmy reply almost immediately, is comprehensive and is paying close attention to its clients.

thought the place was great. needed some place quiet to rest between swim meets sessions, and we were able to do just that! I did have two rambunctious children with me so I was trying to be mindful that we were upstairs and there were people living downstairs. but that was a me problem not a property problem. overall great experience.

Nice place, clean, beautiful and spacious . I have my own packing space. Same as described on the app. Would recommend this place to anyone visiting Halifax 1000 times over.

Spent a great weekend with friends at Andreas condo. The hosts were very friendly and quite accomodating. Beautiful unit and right in downtown. Bars, restaraunts and shopping was all an easy 5-10 minute walk away. Loved the place

We enjoyed our stay and the place is clean and has lots of space. I found the parking spot at the back very small for even my small Tesla, it was hard to back up all way to the street, although we appreciated having a parking spot, just be ready for that. The apartment is beautiful and listed on the top floor, high ceilings. We loved our stay !!

We loved Jeanne’s condo. It was very comfortable and in a great location. Could walk around the little town of Mahone Bay, or enjoy the view from the balcony.

Everything was just as it should be. Great views. Emily was prompt and helpful in providing a couple of extra things we requested. Very nice place for a winter get away!

I got the pleasure to spend my night at this beautiful property, the artwork is what stands out from other places, keeping the place bright with beautiful white interior and clean furniture. The hot tub was very relaxing and I had the full moon wide awake in perfect angle with the hot tub it created a beautiful scenery I'll never forget. 10/10
