What a wonderful place to relax! Everything was perfect, from the fully stocked kitchen to the comfy patio lounge chairs & bed, the fire pit with lots of wood all chopped & ready to go and best of all the hot tub! Bonus was the visiting deer which were fun to feed using the supplied apples! Highly recommend this secluded cottage on the river if you’re looking for a quiet getaway! The cottage was exactly as described in the listing! We booked this cottage because it was so close to our daughter’s wedding but it ended up being a mini vacation as well! Thank you!

We cannot say enough about how wonderful this Airbnb was. From the moment we walked in we felt at peace. The space is incredibly beautiful and cleaner than any Airbnb we’ve ever stayed in. Do yourself a favor and stay here! You will be glad you did.

We felt so welcome, it was like staying at a resort with every detail though of! Loved our stay and appreciated the hospitality of our host. It was a pleasure to be able to relax here and honestly the stay was the highlight of our time in the Valley. Well worth it!

What a beautiful spot on the ocean! So serene and picturesque. A perfect spot for a relaxing getaway. Comfy beds and cozy fireplace. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and hope to be back again soon!

The house was amazing. Very remote and quiet. But only 30 minutes to busier locations with shopping, restaurants, etc. Within 10 minutes, RoseBay Bistro & Market and Dear Emma Pizza (incredible!) provide all you need otherwise. The beach is incredible. Sitting in the chairs at the edge of the beach, over the dunes, is the perfect spot for morning coffee or a happy hour cocktail! The house design is like a piece of art - the many levels and nooks make it a very unique experience. It is well furnished with all sorts of things you might want to enjoy your stay. Very thoughtful. We look forward to a return visit.

Beautiful and spacious spot! Having both units made lots of space for our guests. The views off of the many decks was great, with the hot tub making the stay even more comfortable and relaxing. The poker table & set was a huge hit, and surround sound music was a nice touch. Will definitely be booking this stay again in the future. Close to the city for an easy weekend get away.

We do a family girls trip in February every year and this year we switched it up and tried The Lux. The first day was overly windy and cold so we didn’t get to enjoy the outdoor space but on day two, we had the best time! We went for a skate on the easy to access lake, followed by a sauna and hot tub, and showers in the main room which was great for getting in out of the hot tub and showering multiple kids at once. The rooms were all very cozy and we loved watching a movie in the dark movie room. Host was proactive and very responsive. Thank you!

My friends from out of town and I had a great stay at Shannon's place! The place is very cozy and quiet, perfect for a little get away not too far from the city. Would go back again anytime!
