Kid-friendly vacation rentals in Lower Manhattan

We had a nice long weekend at Luis's place with our dog. The fully fenced yard was great for our dog to get out and private for us to enjoy. We also loved that a large park was only a few blocks walk away. The kitchen we well-stocked with everything we needed to cook a couple meals and the rest of the place was very clean. We'd certainly recommend and would stay again in the future!

Heba was a great host with a beautiful home. Very clean, welcoming, and spacious. Bonus- All the tile selections were gorgeous! Our families fit comfortably in the home during our stay and we enjoyed our time.

Me and My Family stayed @ Alex & Vannie's House for a second time and we had a great time again . they are friendly and reliable and took care of us . my daughter always enjoy the pool when we come here . their home is clean and comfortable and the area was quiet if you want to get some relaxing days I'd recommend to stay here .

This was my first Airbnb experience and I’m so happy it was here. From the moment you walk in you are blown away by the decor, the views, the amount of light, how well appointed everything is, I could go on and on. But what stood out more than anything else is the thoughtfulness. There was nothing we needed that wasn’t available to us. This place goes above and beyond. We LOVED staying in Jennifer's home. The neighborhood was lovely and great for kids. The home was the most "homey" place I've ever stayed. The kids loved every minute of staying there, and honestly were sad to leave. The beds were comfortable, the linens were plenty, the kitchen was well stocked, the temperature control of the home during the crazy temperature fluctuations between winter and spring which was SO helpful. Bathrooms on every floor was so nice, and the sunroom was the most used room in the house. We even got to see a lot of wildlife, which was really fun! The only random caveat I'd give, and this is not a complaint, and just really a helpful tip if you bring young children. Bring or purchase a fence type gate instead of a typical baby gate. This place was an ideal spot for us, close by to relatives in Fort Lee, clean and easy stay with our two young kids. They loved the bunk beds, and the curtains were room-darkening, so they slept well. Thank you for the nice stay!

It’s a nice and clean place with two big smart TVs comfy bed & room for a lot of guests. I was alone and enjoyed the extra space. Watched some Hulu on TV got some hot chicken & relaxed. Thank you Mina for hosting me!!

First time in NJ/NY and loved our stay at this Airbnb. Everything was clean and looked exactly like pictured. Wilson is an awesome host he communicated clearly and was always responsive. I recommend his place and would 100% stay here again!

The ideal place to stay when you don’t want to be in the bustle of Manhattan. A quiet nice place with friendly hosts. It was the second time we stayed here and not the last, health permitting.

We stayed one week at Cecia‘s place and enjoyed our time there. It was easy to find, quiet and just as described. Cecia was very responsive, helpful and checked in with us during our stay. There are plenty of restaurants and grocery stores nearby. The bus ride to Manhattan is easy. We were really grateful for the option of a late check out since we had a late night international flight.

Its not uncommon to stay at an Airbnb that looks great in the pictures and falls short of expectations in reality. That was not the case here at all. The place was larger than I expected and was fantastic. It was easy to walk to town and the location was extremely quiet and peaceful.

The home was absolutely wonderful! What you see in the pictures are exactly what you get. The proximity to transit is great. We also felt safe in the area. We would definitely stay here again!

Our stay at The Home Away was nothing short of fantastic. On arrival, we had the pleasure of meeting Ricardo, who gave us a bunch of local recommendations as well as how to get into the city, etc. Our hosts were wonderful and really made us feel welcome as it was our first time visiting New York. The apartment itself is amazing, very clean and spacious, with some of the best views of the New York skyline you're likely to find. The area felt very peaceful and safe, far enough out of the hustle and bustle of the city while still feeling very connected to it. The location was incredibly convenient; the bus stop just outside the apartment has very frequent services that get you into Manhattan in less than 15 minutes. There is also a ferry port within walking distance that runs over to Manhattan every 20 minutes. There were plenty of shops and restaurants around the apartment, so you don't need to venture too far. Overall, our stay was 10/10 and I wouldn't want to stay anywhere else in NYC.

We loved staying here for our New York trip! Very easy to access the city, very lovely place with everything we could need (better than some hotels I’ve stayed at in manhattan). I would recommend this to any group of people looking for a great value for a great property.

We were lucky to find Christabella’s place on very short notice. My MIL was in town since we just had a newborn, and we had to cancel a different AirBnb booking because of heating and other issues. Christabella was very responsive and checked in on us during our stay. The apartment was just as described, and we would recommend this listing to family and friends.

Very quiet inside of the home despite busy surroundings. Plenty of parking in near by lots. Very clean and recently renovated.
