Vacation rentals with breakfast in Lough Derg

Had a very peaceful 3 nights at Fionnuala and Peter’s. The coach house is charming, very clean, well equipped and quiet. Fionnuala is a lovely host. This was my second stay and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend it!

Very friendly people and lovely home which was situated in a nice area. Would return to stay again.

What a pleasure to stay in Christopher's home with his family. Everyone was so welcoming and kind and eager to ensure my stay was perfect. The room was immaculate and comfortable, and the kitchen and dining room were so peaceful. Working while in the dining room on a beautiful Kinvara morning while looking out the windows at those amazing gardens was a real treasure. If you get a chance, you might have the benefit of reading some of Dad's incredible poetry.

Spent 5 lovely days in Galway in Daniel’s house. It was a very homely, comfortable and well equipped place; a good place to chill out and relax in after a day out touring the local sights. A very good location with both Galway and Salthill within walking distance. Parking was straightforward outside the house and Daniel was a very friendly and responsive host who provided good recommendations about the area. Would thoroughly recommend.

We had amazing stay at Kay’s house. The place was spotlessly clean, equipped with great amenities, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. Communication was excellent, and the breakfast was delicious. Highly recommend staying here!

I can’t say enough about this place. It was perfect. The hosts are so kind, and personable. The house was spotless. Extremely homey feeling while away from home, and would plan on coming back to this Airbnb should I return. I’ve already told all my friends and family to come here. Beautiful countryside, and Adare is close by. I was traveling with my grandmother, and it was perfect the way the downstairs was setup for her to not have to deal with stairs, and the separation for anyone needing space upstairs. I was more than happy with the choice to stay here. Thank you Barry and Fran for helping this be such a memorable experience. You’re doing everything right!

Mike's place was amazing! It was private, clean, full of amenities and Mike was beyond accommodating. Mike was helpful, quick to respond and so helpful. The place was clean, had the extras a traveler might need, like spices & other littles for cooking, and extra touches, like blankets, extra pillows, an iron and blow dryer. This lovely home was comfortable, inviting and safe. We were visiting our daughter at UL and this home was in a great location to get to a variety of places, access restaurants and transportation. If we get back to Ireland, we will absolutely be connecting with Mike. Thank you for a wonderful stay! ~Cheers~

Fiona's place is amazing. She provides anything you need and gives good tips of good places of Ennis. You can go without any doubts.

We enjoyed a lovely stay with John & Margaret in their beautiful home. John greeted us upon arrival & made us feel at home instantly, ensuring heating was on & we had correct code for gate. Our en-suite room was very spacious & beautifully furnished. The fridge & food cabinet were stocked with an array of food & goodies. The bath & power shower were superb & the bathrobes were a lovely treat. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay & look forward to going back again.

Charming living space with well equipped kitchen and the most extensive selection of foods for breakfast!

I stayed at Thereze's in Kinvara for almost three months while doing an internship in Galway. I grew really fond of the place, the neighborhood, and Thereze, of course. The apartment had everything I needed, if not, everything was provided by Thereze. It is spacious, very cosy, and tastefully furnished. I often sat in the garden for tanning or skipped rope in front of the patio. There is enough space for cars. Kinvara is lovely village, and very busy! There a a few restaurants for breakfast and dinner, coffee shops, and places for take-away. A big supermarket and gas station can be found as well. It was a nice 25-minute walk into the village with a great view. Galway is about 40 minutes by car or bus. Thereze is an amazing and kind host. She will do everything so you feel comfortable and make the best out of your trip. She made my stay worthwhile and I am very grateful for and to her!

Ronnie and his place were both wonderful! The loft was so clean and cute!! Even bigger than the photos. Ronnie was so nice and welcoming and we felt very safe in the neighborhood. the private bathroom was such a great bonus! 10/10 would recommend and would come back!

We had a nice stay at Niamh's. It was a great location for visiting friends in Portumna and a quiet retreat after a long day. Very peaceful location for a good night's sleep. Everything was very clean and checking in was a breeze as Niamh met us when we arrived. The only thing I was missing was a throw or extra blanket on the couch to snuggle under while watching TV or reading a book but that certainly isn't a big deal.

This is a cosy shabby chic haven. We loved our stay. Lynda is the best host. The location is perfect and there are some beautiful shops around, including the one that the apartment is above. We will definitely be back.

We had a great stay at Sean’s. Right next to the beach and fun spots in Salthill like OConnors and only a 5 minute uber/20 minute walk to downtown area (Quay st). Coastline and scenery is awesome. Everything you could need nearby. Place was actually bigger than the pictures made it seem, we were very comfortable. Highly recommend staying here.

Lorraine is a lovely host. I got lost and she made the effort to find me and bring me to her place. That was really kind of her. I appreciated that as it was my first time staying there. The bedroom was warm, at a certain time of day, the sun streamed in the window and it felt really good. She is delightful. It was walking distance and easy to get around and back to.

Sandra’s place was exactly what we were looking for - we wanted to stay close to Galway, but not in the city, this location was perfect! An easy five minute walk to the bus stop that brings you right into Galway. Sandra gave us a warm welcome and was proactive in helping us figure out the bus schedule, and also left us scones, fruit, etc. - we would 100% stay here again!

Nora is a gem and so is her place! The location was perfect, easy to find and a short walk from everything. The beds were so comfy, there was a lovely breakfast each morning, and the shower was always warm. We would eagerly stay here again.

Gretta’s establishment was very peaceful and fun to visit for a one night stay, on our way to Galway. Would recommend for those who want to escape to the countryside. Thank you Gretta

We enjoyed our stay! The Airbnb was exactly as it’s pictured, and the host was very nice. It is located very close to the main area of the city, less than 10min from most of the action! Breakfast was served 8-9:30 and included toast, yogurt, and some pastries. Only minor issue was a lack of handsoap in the bathroom, but there were plenty of shampoo and body wash bottles we could use instead.

I came to stay with Kathryn during the bank holiday/halloween weekend and had an excellent time! I had never stayed at a proper bed and breakfast before and I was a tad apprehensive as I’m very private, but Kathryn exceeded all of my expectations with her incredible home and great hospitality! She even got me gluten free bread for the daily breakfasts she makes and helped me make sandwiches for my long bus ride the following day. The security to manage the ins and outs were very easy and the location is GRAND. Super close to the bus. I can’t recommend this place enough if you’re looking for a real b&b experience.
