A beautiful, tiny cabin with a wonderful lake and woodlands around it - a great outdoor space for kids and dogs. The cabin was super cozy even in the dead of winter. We hadn’t realised there was no sofa but there were comfy outdoor chairs we bought in to be able to relax downstairs. Cassandra was a brilliant host who was really responsive and very helpful. Thank you for such a lovely stay - we’d love to come back.

We returned delighted from this weekend in St Mars-la-Brière. What a change of scenery! Comfortably installed in the wooden chalet, warm by the fire, you could have thought you were in a mountain chalet. The ponds around the chalet evoke the Sologne, and during our walks in the nearby pine forest, we felt like we were in the Landes. Everything is provided in the cottage for well-being and relaxation: large corner sofa, facing the stove very easy to operate, books, board games and herbal teas available, comfortable queen bed, bathroom that has nothing to envy a beautiful hotel room, kitchen with everything you need to prepare good meals, etc. No TV, what happiness! But a quality speaker that gives you a pleasant musical background. Not a downside to note in any case regarding this rental. Warm welcome by Pauline, and as specified in the listing, the duck came to greet us too!

Very pleasant stay at Laurence's cottage. Impeccable cleanliness, beautifully decorated, super comfortable bedding, quiet and peaceful environment, ideal place to rest and recharge. Laurence and her husband were very kind, discreet, attentive. Again, thank you for this lovely break! Recommended without hesitation.

The property was exactly as described and pictured. The location is only 10 minutes from the center of Tours, and very close to many of the most popular chateaux. The unit is completely private, well insulated and very quiet. There is a gate restricting access to the property, so it was very safe. All the amenities are provided, and if they are not on location, Dominique will do everything to provide them. He is a delightful host, friendly, helpful and so accomodating. Having sheep, goats and wild rabbits a few feet away added to the pleasure of staying here. In nice weather, walks along the river are only steps away. Highly recommend.

The cottage is very cozy and as described, the place is very quiet. Sylvie welcomed me very warmly and moreover with a little treat for my arrival which I enjoyed very much. I'd love to come back.
